My 12-month old Cavapoo suddenly became disinterested in his food and would literally run and hide when I started preparing his meals. A friend suggested I try Different Dog so I went ahead with a trial. It was an instant success so I continued with my subscription. My dog loves the food and now comes into the kitchen whilst I am getting it ready for him and waits for it rather than hiding. He hasn't been at all fussy with the menu choices and eats it all, every single time. I really like how easy the website is to use if I want to make any changes to my delivery date or meal choices and delivery is always on schedule. I can't fault Different Dog at all, it has improved my dog's relationship with food so much which in turn, makes me happy!

Such a fabulous company 😍. Really good customer service. Very helpful and friendly. The food is just amazing. My girls been on butternut box for a few years and was never really bothered about eating the food. Just thought it was time for a change and its the best decision that I could've made. Excellent customer service
We’ve been with different dog for years. Food is top tier, our dog has always been happy and healthy on different dog food and their customer service is excellent.
Unfortunately we had an issue due to a recent updated recipe change of which they are very transparent about and with good intentions to inform us of any more changes due to come so we wouldn’t come across the issue again. Our dog no longer wanting to eat his usual food due to the slight recipe change. (It happens!) The team were fantastic in supporting us via email and phone call and getting a couple of packs of the old batch recipe out to us and also sent new recipes for us to try transition onto all within 48hrs. Special thanks to Keely!
Whenever we have had a problem - which has been very very few times in 3/4 years it’s been because the courier has damaged the odd delivery, they have always sorted it asap and with zero fuss. Since then, the parcels have been further taped and made even more secure and we have no longer had this issue, so they really do take it onboard and improve.
You can trust in this company to support you and your dogs. We couldn’t recommend different dog enough!

Food for CKD
We tried all the traditional kibble and wet food options for our dog with asymptomatic CKD. However, they were causing him to have a terrible upset stomach, and eventually he (who was never fussy before) refused to eat not only the kibble but anything at all as he was feeling so ill. We know good food is how to manage CKD so we were really worried about what to do. Now we have found Different Dog and our dog is back to licking the bowl clean, eagerly sitting in the kitchen whilst we prepare his food, and having lots of energy to play again! Plus, no upset stomachs at all, even during the transition period - it immediately seemed to settle his stomach and put him back on an even keel. We are so grateful to Different Dog, and hopefully when we have our dog’s bloods tested again in a month or so, we will be able to see the good that it’s doing him.

From the first contact with different dog, through their website, the experience has been amazing. Excellent customer services and so easy to change or update your order.
Quality of food is top notch. Freya absolutely loves it. She springs around in anticipation every time I get her bowl ready and there's never a crumb left! Her coat is really shiny and she looks really good. Volume of pooh has decreased as well so no bulking out additives, highly recommend it.

Great food and good customer service but they haven't added new recipes in over 2 years. Dogs get bored of the same food, even if you rotate the menu.

My dog loves this food. I changed to different dog because my little girl was incredibly itchy and after some investigation found that it could be to do with her immune system. Obviously a really good, balanced and wholesome diet is important in this case. This is what your dog gets from Different Dog.

Different Dog
Following our dog Charlie falling ill, we where initially advised by the vet that he may have pancreatitis or similar digestive issues (although thankfully no serious issues identified). Due to his age (10 years) he was starting to suffer with a bit of arthritis an could do with losing some weight.
We looked for low fat alternatives, with fresh ingredients and came upon Different Dog dog food. We have now been feeding Charlie this for just over 3 weeks and everyday we see an empty bowl (whereas before he would some days turn his nose up and not eat) and he looks and behaves like a different dog - almost back to his younger self! Also we have been impressed with the customer service as we have raised a coupe of questions and had an answer within a few hours, even on weekends.
I would therefore recommend any owner looking for fresh and wholesome alternatives for their dog, to give 'Different Dog' a try. The food comes freshly prepared frozen and you store it in your freezer and each portion will last between 2-4 days depending on your dog. Keep it in the fridge once defrosted.

Quality product with individual touch
This small company has come up with a real quality product which is not only appetising but also specifically tailored to my overweight cockapoo’s needs. He positively squeals with delight and wags his tail when he sees the package coming out of the fridge! The appropriate amount for him is plentiful and satisfying for his greedy appetite, unlike so many other low-cal choices. As he has a ‘feed me’ face, it really helps that he is full and I get a few hours’ respite after a meal before he begs for more.

I inherited a 6 year old Goldie who turned out to have a sensitive tummy. Different Dog offered plenty of options so I managed to find a diet to suit her. At the end of last year, 10 years old, she was diagnosed with heart and kidney problems. Bianca discussed diet with my vet and also explained the situation to me which was very useful when I had to make decisions about changing her food. Different Dog were so helpful as I swapped and changed orders and deliveries. Sadly Isla died earlier this month, peacefully at home so I closed my account as she was my last dog. I was so touched to receive a beautiful flower arrangement from Crumble and family, a lovely touch.

I had no confidence at first that Different dogs was going to help me feed my fussy Jack Russell because 2 other on line and numerous brands of premium dog food weren’t working ending up throwing away what really is good food and then having to give her favourite cooked Chicken!! My puppy left the breeder on Royal…
My puppy left the breeder on Royal Canin puppy kibble and everything seemed fine with no problems, however after a bit of research I discovered that it wasn't the most nutritious food which then lead me down the proverbial rabbit hole of dog nutrition and what's best for my puppy's needs and my budget. I was recommended Essentials the Beginning kibble which scored almost twice as highly as the Royal Canin on the All About Dog Food website and as soon as my puppy transitioned the runs started. Poor pup didn't know what was happening and after a couple of weeks I decided to look into pre-cooked dog foods. I initially put my puppy on Paws on Plates and within a couple of days the runs stopped and everything was looking good. Then after 8 or 9 weeks he decided he didn't want to eat. I wasn't sure if it was the food or if something was wrong with him. I tried various toppers to little or no avail then spoke to the vet and put him on a boiled chicken & rice diet for a few days. I ordered Different Dog and he's not looked back since. His motions are never soft, he empties his bowl and although expensive you get what you pay for.

Exceptional customer service
Exceptional customer service, and amazing offering of highly nutritious foods for specialised diets. As a human nutritionist I was very impressed with what was on offer. I have two senior fussy dogs, one with allergies and one with chronic health conditions, so finding food that would benefit them both and that they would enjoy was extremely challenging. So pleased I came across different dog, the change in my poorly dog has been unbelievable. I feel we have more time together now which means the world to me.
