The experience has been very satisfactory.

The experience has been very satisfactory; I can even say surprising, due to the speed of the process, and above all, because even though it is a refurbished item, the box and the contents are impeccable; if I didn't see the refurbished label, it would look like it was just taken out of the factory; I have already tested it and everything is very good. Complaint Regarding Poor Packaging and Damaged Replacement Unit

After requesting a replacement due to the careless packaging that left my original Yotei controller completely smashed, the second one somehow arrived even worse. The shipping box was paper-thin, with just a single sheet inside that offered zero protection. Honestly, it looked like the same controller sent back after being flattened by a hydraulic press — that’s how bad it was. A truly disappointing experience, and I’m not sure I’ll ever buy from PlayDirect again.

UPS does not allow you to hold delivery at their facility

I received my device in the promised time. My one issue was that UPS was going to deliver it while I was at work. I had been informed that I needed to have someone in the house to sign for the delivery though, in the FAQs for adjusting delivery they gave a number for UPS indicating that one could request that their delivery be held at a facility as long as their ID matched the address of the package. UPS said this was not possible. That is perfectly fine, I would just like that instruction corrected and inform people that there is no alternative to someone being there to receive the package. It's that or nothing. Don't give options that are not possible.

PS Portal 30TH Anniversary edition

Got the 30th anniversary portal & the outer box had a tear in it. I know it’s nit picking & if it was the ordinary portal I wouldn’t really be bothered but it’s not & the fact that I’m buying it directly from the manufacturers website leaves a bit of a sour taste in the mouth.
Part of the 30th anniversary products was the retro packaging & with it being damaged it takes the shine off a bit. The portal in itself is fine & I’m very happy with it.
I love the retro look from the PS1 era & the screen is great. It really makes the graphics pop & you can’t beat the dual sense controller experience it just sits in the hand so well.
You have to put in a bit of effort into getting it to work when you’re out & about but it’s worth it . I can now take it out with me to work or when I’m visiting family for the weekend & it connects fine to my P.S5 via WiFi or my phones hotspot. Its great at home as well as when the wife’s watching the T.V I can just turn the portal on & get some gaming in.
All in all I love the portal but just disappointing the packing was damaged.

Delivery was sooner than expected

Delivery was sooner than expected. He delivered to the door of our condo rather than the outside gate where most deliveries are left. Got a text alert which was appreciated. Finally the driver was friendly and professional.

Absolutely great delivery on time and well packaged. Let’s continue with the trophy hunting 🏆 I do hope Sony would give me some discount In the future as I am staying loyal on PlayStation.
