Sales and install in one sentence.

I don't think that's possible. The sales tech and installer were both top notch. They both need to be commended for the job they do and did with me, my order, and my install. I rate you people that I had the privilege to deal with at least a 10+ you should be proud to have those types of people working for you and promoting you company. Thank you. Mel Downs.

Superb customer service.

We were upset by an increase with our current carrier, which we were with for probably 20 years. Melissa offered us a good deal on a competitive product and made sure our installation would be accomplished within the week. We look forward to reviewing your services and a long term relationship.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

When I called to sign up for Direct TV I was helped by 2 guys named Darrien and Trey who were very professional, attentive to my needs and made me laugh. Laughing is the best stress reliever ever and these guys made my day! They deserve a raise!

Way overrated and over priced

I've been a DirecTV customer for several years and only have stayed due to limited options. Frankly the service and produict are way overrated. I am now in the market to find a better value. Dish's full package with all the movie channels is comparably priced to ours with DirecTV that includes none.

When they came to install they sent the wrong dish. I speicfically told them I had a new HDTV yet they sent a dish that did not support HD. It took many calls and over a month to get set up and even then our son and I had to help to get it done.

They have removed channels but never reduced price. Whe I asked to see if we can improve the package or get any type of price break since out price steadily rose and is well beyond average for less content, they essentiall say tough and simply don't care. One rep, rather than try to help or see if he can do anything, responded by asking asked if we want me to cancel. They are rude and arrogant and take you for granted.

And almost every time it rains we have trouble getting a signal.

direct tv

I would definitely recommend direct tv we had cable but the picture quality was no where near the qulaity of direct . The installer was very respectful and customer service was great .we are very satisfied .

so far so good

Sales person was professional and knowledgeable. Price seems good so far. I will definitely see if they claim to be the best in the industry and lower rates than the competitors in 3 months. Main reason I switch other than the rate is because dish no longer has fox news!

Perfect!

After calling a few other places looking for just cable and Internet services and not getting the desired packages or prices, I decided to call direct tv and was so glad I did. The representatives I spoke with were very knowledgeable of the services and products, they were extremely nice and helpful, they didn't attempt to offer me anything I had already said I didn't want and answered all of my questions.

Cannot wait for DirecTV!

I have been paying WAY too much for WAY too little from my cable TV company. I am getting SO much more functionality, SO many more stations (ALL HD) and I can record more at the same time and watch in ANY room....for almost 1/2 the price! I cannot wait to get it installed!

As a new customer I just realized I moved to the wrong cable provider!

After receiving my bill, I noticed that I was charged for some payperview movies. Whe I signed up for this, I was never adviced that this programing could be blocked before hand by Direct TV so there was no access to this from the remote control. This is not a frindly device for a person with mental delay as I have person in the house with this discapacity and after talking to billing department with Luis, as he was not able to credit/wave the payperview amount,. I have asked to be transfered to the next person up the chain of comand and ended up talking to Edgar. After talking to Edgar and explaining the situation, Edgar was not able to help on this issue either. It is sad that being a new customer and after the fact that it was never explained that this programing was accessed via remote, and after explaining that it was ordered by error by a person with special needs. This didnt count as the only thing was to be credited with 25% of the total amount of payperview. Hope this will make it up the chain of comand and will not just get forgoten and left behind at the billing department with the supervisor Edgar of such department. If you have kids with special needs you might want to look for another cable provider as Direct tv has not mercy for you or anybody that has discapacities, they have no exceptions and you will be treated the same as the rest of the population.

I couldn't believe how much I saved and how happy I am I switched to DIRECTV

I was so upset with Dish removing some of our favorite channels. Then, I find out they didn't want to negotiate with Ted Turner to keep CNN. The biggest joke was they didn't offer me a break on my cost for loosing my channels. So, I called DIRECTV and not only did I find out they have all the channels I want including CNN, but I also saved a lot of money too. Sometimes it saves to shop around.
