I purchased a holiday through this…

I purchased a holiday through this webpage and fulfilled all the requirements for the £350 Voucher. I received the initial confirmation email from metro but heard nothing more. I emailed and did receive two response both asking for the email invoices and confirmation email to be sent - these were actually included in my initial communication but I sent it all again. I have since heard nothing. I’ve sent about 10 emails over the last 4 months and received no reply. I’ve used this company several times before and although have had to chase them, they have eventually paid up. There doesn’t appear to be any ‘head office’ or manager to escalate complaints to - although there must be an ombudsman for this kind of thing? I’m also not sure big companies such as Tui would want to be associated with scams so they must have some kind of complaints procedure. I’ll update my post if I can find out who/where to direct my complaint.

My £70 amazon voucher dead link before expiry date

My £70 amazon voucher link arrived on the 12 September 2024 which is valid for 90 days. Therefore the link should expire after 11 December 2024. As of today 28 November 2024, the link appears to have expired. I've had confirmation from the Rewards customer support team (contact.uk joingsg.com) who will respond to my request within 72 hours, but this has yet to happen.

Update: after over a week. They eventually provided me with the voucher.

No responses to rewards from email

I used the link for a purchase back in January for Lego.com and I heard nothing from them. So I used the email address to send them details of my purchase a month or two back and requested they investigate it and I had no response. I've tried several email addresses and sent the request several times but still no responses

Absolute con- don’t bother!

Absolute con, don’t bother trying to use it. I used the link to make a purchase through hotels.com . I made the purchase straight away but metro rewards claim I must have left the site in between or had ad blockers on etc etc - lots of excuses.
Forwarded my receipt to metro rewards but they still wouldn’t honour it. I’m not sure why any company would associate their name with this scheme.

Scam website

Scam website, don’t waste your time. You will be ignored.

I should have read the reviews before participating. Haven’t sent several emails and waited a sufficient amount of time for a reply, I was met with nothing. No reply, no acknowledgment and of course no reward.

Websites like this need to be shut down.

Did not receive the advertised £45 voucher for my qualifying spend of over £150 with B&Q.

In fact there was absolutely zero communication from Metro Discount Codes even after I went to the trouble of contacting them through their website.

I wouldn't recommend Metro Discount Codes at all as their promised offers don't materialise and they simply ignore messages - all the hallmarks of a sham outfit.

I got some generic email reply with excuse, blaming cookies (which I have switched on).

Avoid!

Avoid!
Any offers that these guys show appears to be a con.
I have had exactly the same responses as in previous posts.
None of their excuses make any sense.
Don't be fooled, don't waste your time.
This company should be ashamed.
I don't know if 'Metro' are actually aware of these problems but if i were their CEO i would be distancing myself from this 3rd party.
Very poor form and i don't know why they bother to show such offers in the first place....probably just to get customer details.

Slow reward... but paid out eventually

My reward voucher did not automatically track, and triggered no confirmation email after purchase; I also needed to chase manually after ~6 months before it paid out...

Whilst contradictory to the ~3 months written in promotional materials this is not unexpected from using other affiliate schemes, and in the end customer services did get the reward to me - so whilst it didn't give the confidence I have from other big-name cashback sites, ultimately we got what was advertised.

Ignore emails

They have been ignoring my email for over a week now, signed up for a reward month later got the second stage and told up to three months till I get the voucher, 3 months later nothing... Emailed both email addresses supplied

M&S £60 voucher still not received

Supposed to receive a £60 M&S voucher through 4 months after buying an O2 phone through them back in September received nothing sent several emails to their contact us email with the full details of the offer i was supposed to receive as I kept the original emails and still no response not even a we are looking into your issue sorry about the delay shocking customer service

Not reputable

Despite following all their terms and conditions, they declined the £40 Asda voucher i was expecting.
After raising a query, the generic response was that the transaction had not tracked and my reward would not be paid.
Safe to say, i will not be using this company again and would discourage others from doing so.

Here are some reasons to why your transaction may not have been tracked :

- You did not complete your purchase after registering
- You did not click on "Get Reward" on the registration email to complete the transaction

- Cookies were disabled on your browser

- Another cashback offer or discount was applied (registering to a retailer's newsletter is also considered as using a discount)

6 months and still waiting for my reward. Apparently it takes them 4 months to validate a purchase and send you your voucher.... Total rubbish, it's a scam. Don't give these guys any of your details.
