WE BOOKED CAR THROUGH THEM! THEY DIDNT REFUND OUR MONEY RATHER BLOCKED US! G7895126 was the reservation number, the guy blocked us as soon as we came back to our own country. They still have our security deposit and never bothered to reply back.
I came to use them as they represent Green Motion in Oman. The staff are very kind and polite and the car we had good but the service is atrocious. Unlike other professional car hire companies, they take the security deposit from your credit card, Avis and the like only block a sum for protection. Discovery Car Rental doesn’t refund your money before 21 days and in my case, after that time and only after me writing twice. This means that you are paying bank charges and interest on top of the car hire. Making it more expensive than one of the proper cars hire agencies. There was also the issue of a comprehensive insurance that we paid for and never saw any documentation to prove that we had bought it. I don’t think the staff are dishonest but the system in that agency is dubious. An embarrassment for Green Motion and Oman. I don’t recommend them.
