My wife and I had a great time trekking with Discovery World Trekking. Our guide, Prabhat, and porter, Chandra, were excellent—always kind and willing to help.

Prabhat made all transitions smooth and seamless, always responsible for the logistics. Chandra is incredibly strong and always had a warm smile and kind attitude.

We really appreciated the little treats—from the warm welcome at the airport to the trekking days, our arrival at EBC, and the final day in Lukla.

Paul and his team are extremely responsible, ensuring that you and your health are well taken care of before, during, and after the journey. We only had to focus on walking—the guide, porter, and company took care of everything else.

The views along the route were absolutely stunning, far exceeding our expectations. I strongly recommend the Lukla-Gokyo-EBC route, as it offers diverse and breathtaking perspectives of Chomolungma/Everest, the surrounding mountains, and the beauty of Sagarmatha National Park as a whole.

My husband and I had the BEST week doing the Everest View Trek with Discovery World Trekking. We enjoyed every second of it. Our guide Prem and porter Phurba were absolutely fantastic, so friendly and helpful! We would thoroughly recommend them and Discovery World Trekking. Dhannebad!

My wife and I did the Everest View Trek with Discovery World Trekking. The trek is perfect for those that don’t have enough time to do one of the longer routes - this one took us 7 days to complete (including one acclimatisation day). We did the trek in early February which meant that a lot of shops / restaurants were closed, but it also meant we nearly always had the track to ourselves! The route is spectacular, with amazing views of snowy peaks and impressive landscapes!

The people at Discovery World Trekking made everything really straightforward from start to finish. We were given an online briefing over video call with Paul (the owner) who took us through everything we needed to bring as well as a thorough run through of the itinerary. We were greeted at the airport by our guide (Prem) who dropped us off at our hostel. Paul provided us with down jackets, a duffel back for the porter (Phurba) and sleeping bags - these were no extra cost and were in excellent condition.

Our guide Prem was absolutely brilliant!
Throughout the whole trek he was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and really good company. He speaks very good English. He taught us some Nepalese phrases as well as explaining a lot about Nepalese and Sherpa culture. I had a little bit of altitude sickness and Prem was very reassuring and made me feel incredibly safe. We’d really recommend him!

Our porter Phurba was also excellent, carrying our belongings effortlessly while we struggled with our tiny day bags. He was friendly and helpful throughout the trek. Prem and Phurba make a great team!

In summary, we’d thoroughly recommend this trek if you want a taste of the Himalayas, Paul made everything very easy, and ask for Prem and Phurba as your guide and porter if you can!

We have just returned from the EBC + Cho La + Gokyo trekking. The past two weeks have been nothing short of amazing. Our guide Sanjaya awaited us at the airport and was friendly and hospitable from the start. Throughout the trekking he was always very tentative to our needs and made sure we were okay every step of the way. Our porter Phurba, who we met in Lukla, is one of a kind. So friendly, a super hard worker and always happy. Without him we wouldn't have made it. Every day they both ensured we had the best time, got all information and knew what the plan was. If we wanted something they made sure we would get it and our health was checked daily. We thank them so much!

The company has offered us a really good package with top-notch accommodations and really nice food at every place we stayed. It was much better than we would have thought beforehand, especially with the price of the whole package. The owner Paul is very involved and leaves nothing to detail.

We are happy to have booked with Discovery and would do again in the future. We had the most amazing time and won't forget this experience. Thank you all!

We had an amazing trek with DWT, doing the 10day ABC trek with Poon hill. Paul and the team were super attentive, from video calling us before we left to checking in regularly during the trek. The guide Hemnath and porter Gobinda, were great fun and taught us dances and local games, as well as always checking in on us and providing knowledge on the area. The views along the way were stunning! I would definitely recommend DWT to any friends coming to Nepal. Thanks again to the team who made our trip special.

It’s been a fantastic experience from the very beginning to the end. We did the Everest Base Camp trek, 11 nights/12 days, and we had the best time!
It’s not easy, but if you like trekking this is one of the best places on Earth.
As a guide we had Man Kumar and he’s been incredibly attentive to all our needs, he kept a fantastic pace throughout the whole trip and always took care of us in the best possible way!
I can only recommend you to go with DWT for your Nepal tour - because it’s 100% worth it!

It has been the most incredible experience we’ve ever lived!
From the start to the end, all was perfect and so well organized by Discovery World Trekking.
Our guide, Padam, has been really amazing to us, with a true kindness, he just took care of us as his owns. Moni, our porter was always here for anything we need, he has been so helpful.

A big thank to Paul for the organisation of this trip, I’ve got sick after the summit, had to be rescue by Helicopter and Paul made everything possible from the mountain to the hospital in Kathmandu so that I manage nothing.

Amazing memories, we will definitely come back with this agency!

Our group did the Gokyo Lakes to Everest Base Camp trip. Discovery World Trekking was simply fantastic. I would highly recommend their services. Paul made planning the trip easy and stress-free. Every detail of the trip was covered and he was very responsive to our every question. Our guides and porters were professional, knowledgeable and very attentive to our every need. They truly cared for us. We were able to just enjoy our epic journey knowing that every detail of our trip was taken care of. When we needed help with a sickness, route finding or transportation they knew just what to do. We were able to really bond with our guides and porters and they made the trip fun. On our way out of Lukla, our flights were cancelled and we needed a helicopter to connect with our flights home. Paul somehow found us a helicopter quickly despite many other people waiting. We absolutely had an epic trip and Discovery World Trekking made it happen.

We did the Annapurna Circuit trek at the end of October - beginning of November 2024. This was a great experience all the way round - from start to finish we were supported by our guide Sanjay and porter Manish as well as cared for by the manager Paul. I personally liked the fact that although we have booked a specific itinerary it could later on be tailored to our needs at little or no extra cost for us. The gentle reminder to go slowly slowly, take our time, enjoy the views and take plenty of pictures reminded us every day not to stress about a big hike ahead and enjoy the moment. Even though a bit doubtful, we were successful both to reach the Tilcho Lake and Thorong La. I'd gladly recommend Discovery World Trekking to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive company on your Nepali trek.

We have just completed the Three Passes Trek, including EBC, with Discovery, and we are fully satisfied. The entire planning went smoothly with almost no delays, including the flights to and from Lukla, which are usually the most problematic.

Our guide Phurba was very attentive to us at all times, doing everything possible to make the route easier. He provided us with the necessary information to better understand the details of the trek and the surroundings. For me, the most important thing was how he adjusted his pace to minimize any issues with altitude sickness. Our porter Suman also provided excellent service, always smiling despite the effort.

The trek was more spectacular than I had imagined and perhaps a bit more challenging than expected, but the overall experience was unbeatable.

I’d like to thank Paul for his regular check-ins to see how we were doing, and especially Phurba and Suman. I would definitely do it again with them.

An experience to remember.

We were very happy with the entire organisation of the trip. Paul provided us all the necessary information and answered to all our questions very quickly.
In Kathmandu we had a warm welcome from our Tourguide Dhan Kumar.
The Trek itself was also picturesque! We had a great time and our Porter Asshis and our Guide Dhan took very good care of us. The accommodations they chose were nice and looked mostly better than others.

Only thing we weren't totally happy about was that they said they offer free down jackets and sleeping bags to rent. But as we are quite tall (1.90m, 1.80m) they didn't had our size so we had to rent them in a store. Our guide took us to the store and organised everything and it was very cheap so not really that bad. :)

Just completed Manaslu 16 days by Discovery World Trekking company and have an unforgettable memories….

First of all, this Manaslu trek is challenging, at first I had a heat exhaustion, later on I got the altitude sickness ….but because myself and our friends had a good company and an amazing and deeply experience Guide - Kersing Gurung - therefore tge trip became easier.
Kersing and our porters Jagat and Rupesh constantly stay close to our group and make sure we’re feeling alright, safe, go with our pace and give amazing historic and other informations during our break.

In fact, I thought that I never make it to the campsite however I knew that they had our backs.( I was worried that I had to make a return as a few people I met on the trail,..,or have to use the helicopter option to go down,…
Make a long to short, good company and good Guide will make our trip archive to the submitted. I am strongly believe without the good crew I would not make through the Larker Pass.

Not only the great crew but also The food is such amazing, every meal was such a feast. Every town I enter like go to another world

Everywhere we been, the bed is firm and good support.

Never wish for anything better than that.

The 16 days Manaslu trekking is a challenge, specially the steep hills, the heat and the height but the views are among the best I have ever seen in my life and I have hiked quite a lot. Thanks to the great team. This trip was not only memorable but also a truly extraordinary to me. It will forever hold a special place in my heart !

Myself and my wife did the Gokyo Ri / Everest Base Camp circuit trek with Discovery World Trekking and had an unforgettable experience. We loved every minute of it. Embarking on the 16-day trek around the Annapurna Circuit, including the breathtaking Tilicho Lake, was a trip of a lifetime. This journey, made even more special by our incredible team, was filled with awe-inspiring views, moments of deep reflection, and a great sense of accomplishment.

Our guide, Dol, was an absolute rock. His knowledge of the region, its culture, and the trails was unmatched. He led us with confidence, always ensuring we felt safe and supported. Dol’s warmth and wisdom made every step of the trek feel purposeful with his stories deepening our understanding of the local culture and environment.

Nir, our assistant guide, was equally remarkable. His infectious energy and ever-present smile were a constant source of motivation. He was always by our side, making sure everyone was comfortable and supported during the trek.

Our porters, Jagat, Manish, and Aasish were the unsung heroes of the trek. Their strength and endurance were nothing short of extraordinary, but beyond that, their kindness and humility truly touched our hearts. Jagats musical ability was a lovely touch with his flute playing and singing always bringing good energy. We enjoyed dancing together on mountain tops embracing Nepalese culture.

They always had a smile on their faces, despite the heavy loads they carried, and they made sure our needs were met at every stop.

The trek itself was a marvel, from the dense lowland jungles to the snow-covered peaks, with Tilicho Lake being an unforgettable highlight. Reaching its serene, turquoise waters was truly beautiful. The immense beauty of the Himalayas surrounding us was humbling and reminded me of the wonder of our world.

From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu, we were welcomed by our guides Dol and Raj. They were super knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and attentive to our needs. They shared fascinating insights about the local culture and stunning landscapes. Their expertise and positive vibes were crucial in helping us acclimatise and stay motivated throughout the challenging trek.

The trip was organised and smooth; the itinerary was nicely spaced out. Accommodation and meals were good. We felt well-cared for. Our amazing porters also made sure our belongings made it to the next destination safely and punctually.

One of our friends had to turn back nearing Everest Base Camp, and the team was decisive and flexible enough to arrange a porter to accompany him back to lower altitude.

Hello all,
I was privileged to have accompanied some members of the Armed Forces Para Snowsports Team to EBC, with this trekking company, in May 24.
This band of brothers and sisters are British Veterans who have life changing injuries. An arduous challenge is an understatement.
18 stepped off at the start and 18 reached Base Camp.
I believe this was directly due to their service and attention of Discovery World Trekking.

I had a very pleasant and extremely fun experience doing the 14-day Annapurna Circuit trek (without Tilicho Lake) with Discovery World Trekking as my trekking partner.

Our guide Maansing took great care of our group of 9 by ensuring our safety along the trek, sorting out our lodging and taking care of our complicated meal requests (sorry) with the assistant guide Nir, allowing us to experience the trek in ultimate comfort.

The porters (Bhim, Durga, Jagat, Sankar and Tek) were also friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, and I couldn’t have been more grateful when they helped carry my backpack for the last leg towards the high pass when I got hit with mild altitude sickness. The entire crew felt like a close-knitted family, laughing and dancing to Nepali songs whenever they had a chance to (even when trekking downwards a slippery path–the skills!)

I wholeheartedly recommend choosing Discovery World Trekking, and choosing Maansing and team as your crew!

I had an incredible time doing the Anapurna Circuit with Discovery World Trekking. Paul, the owner, laid out a very detailed itinerary, explaining daily distances, elevations, scenery to expect, and lodging. The description did not do it justice though, the Anapurna Circuit was overwhelmingly beautiful and awe inspiring.

Our guide Chhanda and porter Surya were experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and very easy going. Chhanda knew the elevation of every mountain we pointed to or named! It was fun to hear their stories and experiences from other treks as well as learning the history of our surroundings. I highly recommend a trip with Discover World Trekking and especially with Chhanda and Surya!

The trek with Discovery was an incredible one! Our guide Manish and our porter Sandip were the best! From the first day they were attentive to our needs and were very easy to get along with.

I highly recommend Discovery for tourists and locals alike, and I’ll surely be booking with them again when I return to beautiful Nepal!
