The service I received was excellent. I was kept informed of what was happening with my car from pick up to drop off and the repair itself was of a high standard. Would definitely recommend.

Paintwork is brilliant, but

So, my car had a rear end shunt, quite minor damage, but three electrical faults were reported along with the body damage.
My light failure notification on the dashboard says that since the crash, my left rear tail lamp has failed, my right rear tail lamp has failed, my left rear tail lamp has failed, my right rear tail lamp has failed (yes, I get the messages twice) some other strange error messages appear, and since the accident my tailgate has opened twice, while driving!. Once before the repair once since the 'repair'
Fortunately the second time was while I was on an empty 30MPH road, so I could stop and close it.

I was told, after my car had been assessed, that a Merc specialist would be called in to solve the issue. This obviously has not happened. I sent a message to DLG, but got no response, so I fear my car will have to be sent to somewhere else at my own expense. I have very little faith in this garage, although the paint job is first class. I think they spent more time making notes on how dirty my car was, rather than fixing it. As the driver of the car that drove into me was at fault (by admission and video evidence) I feel very unhappy that I have to pay for repairs that were not present before the accident.

This is not the first time such an issue has occured with this company. But as stated, the paint work is excellent.

Update
My car has been back, for the second time today following the repair. I really hoped I could give at least one more star following my initial review. But I have actually removed a star. I would remove the remaining one if at all possible.
Following the accident, I had warning lights on my dashboard, and the boot lid would open randomly, even when driving (one case was middle lane of the M62)
Bad as that may be, it has been clearly stated that my dog travels with me.... In the boot! (My car is a c-class estate with plenty of room... Just for those of you concerned about my transport arrangements for my best friend)

According to a phone call following the first return visit, today they replaced the lock, the control and the boot motor.... I forget the full details of what was promised.

So they called me today to tell me it was ready to collect. I asked about the error messages on the dashboard, and was told there are no error messages on my dashboard. So when I sat in the car and turned the ignition on, I was not entirely surprised to see one of the error messages was still there.
So some chap came out to have a look... Firstly he complained my car smells of dog.... Er, my main worry about the random boot opening is because I HAVE A DOG!.

Then came the explanation as to why the error messages don't matter because there wasn't a fault. Well, there is a fault, when an error message appears, even if if there is no cause. In the end, he replaced a bulb, and at the moment (less than 6 hours, I have been clear of dashboard warnings)
My current issues are multiple. One, I had been clearly told there were no error messages. That was proven to be false.... Therefore I have no faith that anyone at DLG autos has taken the repair of my vehicle seriously. I have no faith the repairs have been carried out properly. I have no faith that my dog, the one that smells like a... Oh, yes, smells like a dog is safe while we are driving. I hate my car now, I feel my dog is at risk every time we drive anywhere.
If all of that was not bad enough, when I tried to explain that my car did not behave like this before the accident, the exact words this manager (whatever title he has) said were
"I only have your word for that"

How insulting can you be? I would have left the two stars if not for that revolting comment.

I would seriously recommend that you stay away from this place.

So I have been offended, I have doubts about the safety of my car, and someone ran in to me, the accident was not my fault. So I feel like I am being punished for the mistake made by a young driver. I am seriously unhappy.

This update has been edited multiple times because I am so unspeakably angry, my spelling and grammar suffered. This final version is the best I am able to present.

Shocking customer service and ability…

Shocking customer service and ability to plan ahead. Car was due back over 5 weeks ago. I've been extremely patient but constantly having to chase them for updates, sitting on hold and then them not calling back when they say they will is completely draining. Excuses are always waiting on parts or waiting on specialists so can't even give you a revised completion date, never any apology for the incovenience. It seems picking up a phone to chase their suppliers or update customers is just too difficult for this company.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately there is a delay in returning your vehicle due to the delivery of parts which was outside of our control. I apologise if you feel there was a lack of communication during this time

1st time in car fully road worthy drove…

1st time in car fully road worthy drove over to show so they could preordered parts, car collected then not touched as awaiting parts on back order 3 weeks plus, went over and swapped over as courtesy car stank like an old pub

2nd time weeks later car re collected returned but sun roof blind not tensioned up after repair to panorama sun roof, plus loose wire on tail section, took it back to show Arranged recollection with a courtesy car from a other source .

3 rd time car collected courtesy car no show. Emailed DLG a wow they answered ( that was a first never reply to quite a few
Text contractors by Messages never answering the phone all documented)
They stated will case up ( according to hire firm this was first request, funny it was timed 10 minutes after my email to them.
Car blind now ok but returned but rear off side internal light lens broken, was advised but asked for car back as it was on back order?
So still not 100% repaired
