DMC is a reputable talent agency.

I've worked with various agencies in the past, and DMC comes highly recommended. There is nothing negative to say about this talent agency; they are constantly searching for work for every talent, including myself

Since October 2024, I have been employed by DMC Talent. I received my first extra job in a comedy drama series in February 2025 for three months. Shortly after, I worked as an extra in a number of other excellent Australian police dramas, children's comedy tv programmes, a background extra in an Uber eats commercial. Not just myself but few others from DMC got featured in a couple scenes in a major film. Not long after was selected as an extra in another major film.

DMC has taught me a lot. They encourage their talented extras and actors to pursue more education, particularly with extracurricular activities to enhance their resumes and portfolios.

I still find it hard to believe that I'm an extra for DMC that values talent and that you are always informed by phone, text, and email when you are chosen for a position. DMC always emails payslips at the same time your payment is deposited into the account.

So that been said, I recommend this agency to any future extras/actors

I have been with DMC Talent for almost a year (previously, I lived abroad for more than 30 years), and in that time, I can honestly say that Debbie Mitchell and her team are some of the most passionate and professional people in the Australian industry. Not a week goes by without having a submission to a casting.
Over the past year, I’ve had so many fantastic experiences—both as a Supporting Artist and as an Actor. I’ve been on numerous film and television sets, and by the end of the year, I landed two acting roles: one in a TV commercial for The Lott, and a small character role in an international TV series’ end-of-season cliffhanger episode, which will earn me my first IMDb credit.
Debbie and her team are outstanding professionals who seem never to sleep. They tirelessly search every casting director’s network and online casting websites to find acting and extra opportunities. Their advice is some of the most valuable in the business, emphasizing the importance of being registered on every casting platform.
If you want to succeed as an actor, it’s all about presenting yourself professionally—your photos, your conduct on set, and always being prepared with a suitcase of outfit choices requested by wardrobe. Arriving unprepared or with wrinkled clothes puts the job at risk. Ultimately, success depends on you following the agency’s protocols. The business is tough, but if you give your best, DMC Talent is one of the most supportive agencies you could work with.
The agency also excels with payments—they are always on time, and if delays occur, it’s usually because they’re juggling a massive feature film production. Debbie and her team strive to answer every email and genuinely have your back. If you want to get your foot in the door, get professional headshots done so the agency knows you mean business. Debbie will fight for you if any issues arise, and her knowledge of the industry and its legalities is unparalleled.
Whether you’re serious about acting or starting out as a Supporting Artist, I can’t recommend DMC Talent highly enough.

I started my acting career with DMC just a few years ago, and since I’ve been cast in several Hollywood movies in scenes with most recognisable actors in the world.
From blockbuster comedies like “Ricky Stanicky” where I’m in scenes with John Cena and Zak Efron…. to major action movies like “Play Dirty” with Mark Wahlberg, where I’m cast as a news reporter…. to still in production films like “Empire City” with Gerard Butler where I’m featured as a hostage throughout the movie.
All of these castings into major movies and film came through DMC. The agency is very well known and extremely professional with the “talent” and “staff”.
My tenure with DMC has now opened the door to professional acting and major movies, placing my face directly into the industry.

An amazing agency always on time very happy with the work

DMC Talent provided me a chance at the big leagues in starting as an extra. To provide punctual messages and as well information in regards to the job. I am happy about the whole experience and look forward to continuing to strive for more gigs and work throughout this industry. I am just getting started and would recommend it to people that are starting out in the entertainment industry.
