As many have pointed out customer service is bad. Their response to emails are almost laughable, as if a teenager is pretending to be a bank consultant. Absolutely no overview of payments and surplus “magically” disappears. If you don’t count the amounts yourself, beware. Just untrustworthy and unserious.

This bank is useless, very expensive, and run by incompetent overpaid bankers. They also shut down more and more of their physical locations.

Applying for a Bank ID as expat took more than 3 weeks. Even after providing Rental agreement, Employment contract and having passport scanned, still additional document where requested. Calling customer service got an answer saying 'its out of my hands' while they also could not connect me with the specific department to have explained what exactly would be missing?
I understand that coming to Norway would have challenges, but this feels like the DNB bank is blocking foreigners from having anything set up.

Greedy DnB
DnB is using it's market power to squash competition and makes it very difficult/expensive for customers to move assets (at least stocks). Moving my assets from DnB has taken several months and cost me many thousand kr, should be illegal.

I honestly never haven’t had any Worse experience than DNB, customer service is so terrible that i really feel sorry for their employees.
First of all - transactions between 10 - 25 000 kr in my personal account had been suspected as money laundering case - there for they have requested everything starting from my Binance Wallet ID till offshore bank statements which i bet is completely over privacy policies. And over all of that - they are so slow with reply’s + understanding customer needs.
I never would suggest this bank to anyone as in Privat / company

Worse international customer care ever and very embarrassing for the banking industry. The communications lacks professional language, solution focus and customer centricity. The experience was made over three different service touchpoint during the last months (telephone experience at the Norwegian hotline was miserable, the automatic chatbot is very limited, emails are only send via „noreply“ addresses without any response option).

OK big bank, never had any problems
Never had any problems with DNB. A bit simple and outdated design of the webpage, modern and user-friendly mobile apps (bank and spare). Sometimes slow and a bit buggy, but work OK. For 10 years being their client, I almost haven't needed to go to their office or actively engage with the client support.
Terrible customer service
Terrible (rude and unprofessional) customer service in DNB Finland. I have experience of 2 other car financing companies previously over 10 year period and never had any problems with them (Santander and a domestic bank). Once I get rid of this car, will never be associated with DNB again, and will tell everybody to avoid this company. This company is a complete joke
This company is a complete joke. How it's possible to act in this way without being brought to justice by ARN is a complete mockery. How can you be given a monthly leasing cost and the interest is 3.3% and after 3 months it's 13% and yes l have done the maths. Costumer service is none existent. They replied with we don't have to tell you what we charge in interest. Had to contact peugeot Sweden to get a decent reply. I hope ARN wakes up and makes them clean their act up.
