Dodo Broadband terrible customer service.

Had the worst customer service experience ever from Dodo Broadband.
Tried to pay my bill, a code is required from Dodo before you can pay. Got the code, tried to pay, code not accepted. I tried again a further 3 times with the same result, could not pay. I tried again 30 minutes later same result, could not pay.
I checked my bank account and found that Dodo had taken multiple amounts from my account. I contacted Dodo to be advised that there was an issue within Dodo of taking multiple amounts. They advised they would place money taken, back into my account within 3 to 5 buisness days. After 5 days there was nothing in my account. In between this time I sent numerous messages to their complaint line and their business E Mail line with no responses AT ALL. 15 days later, still no money, even after calling them numerous times with the same response, your money will be put into your account. I contacted the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman to complain about Dodo's non action of my dilemma. 2 days later, Dodo finally contacted me to apologise and that they received the communication from TIO and that my money would be placed into my account " Between 3 to 5 buisness days" I told them that they said the same thing 15 days prior with nothing done. He said it will be in there in 3 days and I'll call you back then to check.
I am hopeful this will finally be resolved.
I can advise that after 16 days, as well as pressure from Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, Dodo have finally paid my money back.
Besides that, I still would not recommend Dodo Services for anything

Dodo- Worst service ever & they don't care

Dodo, the worst customer service, they would never solve your issues. Our TV was buffering all the time, they said after NBN it's going to improve, but no improvement at all, now it's worst than before. When we talk to their customer service team, they simply give us some google or AI generated solutions, some irrelevant info on bandwidth, they wouldn't give a real solution to solve the issues and always their connection is all good it's our equipment is the issue. No one really cares at Dodo.

The worst

The worst. I swapped after getting ripped off from optus with a faulty phone they would not help replace under its rightful warranty.
We swapped to dodo internet and mobiles.
The internet drops out constantly so I upgraded hoping it would help and the tech said to turn wifi off on all devices and to use one at a time on the $85 per month plan. Horrible advice.
Now the mobile sim card has stopped working and completely failed. after 1 hour and being transferred to 5 different people, its going to take another 4 days with no compensation for whole week lost.
Do not waste your time.

New customer experience: No info, bad service

I just had the worst customer experience of my life.
Getting nbn for the first time. Ordered the service online and included the modem but no mention of any nbn box. Got email saying “plug your modem into your nbn box”
I called to say I didn’t have an nbn box.
Customer service person’s accent was extremely difficult to understand (and I am usually very good with understanding accents), he didn’t let me finish my sentences, and he didn’t explain anything about the setup.
Whole process has been absolutely absurd.

Man do I regret signing with you guys

Man do I regret signing with you guys! Your technical support hours are a lie. Your ticket system gets no reply. Your message system has a 255 minute wait. So I called your signup number. Answered after 2 rings. Asked for technical support and currently been on hold for 50 minutes. Not been able to use modem for 1 week. Pathetic!!!

Each time I've been promised a call back within 24 hours
One occassion their system was down and someone would call me back
This last time i was being passed to the 4th person and just got cut off

It's horrendous and hugely stressful to know that a company is trying to charge you extreme amounts for gas, without helping you understand why

Bad unreliable internet modems and shoot yourself in the head customer service ‘portal’ where you do all the work, they do nothing and close the service requests before talking to you. So happy to have disconnected today

Terrible connection for online gaming

Terrible connection for online gaming. Constant high ping and half the time I couldn’t even connect to EA services. I’ve had multiple internet providers over the years and never experienced issues this bad. To make things worse, they wouldn’t refund the unused portion of my payment when I cancelled. Would not recommend Dodo to anyone.

Average internet, AWFUL customer service

Our internet service was average for 2 years. We then moved house with same modem and the speed was awful. Every video buffered. Within 3 weeks we lost connection altogether and have been trying to resolve the issue for the last 10 days. The customer service is atrocious. I have been given a "solution" which was a set of instructions to follow that never worked. Told Dodo it was unsuccessful and have been awaiting a response for 3 days. Nearly 2 entire weeks of no connection. They even had to audacity to bill us through this period but fail to give us assistance.

Dodo - apt name...soon to be extinct!!!

Useless is the being polite. Impossible to speak to anyone. Logged fault online, zero response. Online chat told wait time approx. 235 minutes, lol. They deserve to go out of business. You have been warned!

Cut cable, "no idea"

Cable running from street to house was cut through by gardener. Spent an hour on the phone on hold just to get told to restart my modem to see if that would fix the problem.

Sending a technician to "identify the fault". My guy, the fault is the cable is cut in two.

Their customer service is a joke! The lady stopped responding to me as soon as I asked about my service cancellation.
I was charged another month despite my nbn being cancelled.
Their service is terrible and very poor. The internet lags and is very slow despite on a high plan.

My email service has been disrupted…

My email service has been disrupted since the hack on Friday and Saturday. Trying to speak with anyone is impossible. Perhaps I could talk with God before I can speak with anyone from DODO. It's been four days, and I still cannot speak to anyone. It's time to change providers.
