Yes they are cheap but customer service…

Yes they are cheap but customer service is woeful. Everytime we have an issue, they actually create greater issues rather than solving the initial issue. The customer service team seem to find it hard to understand your queries. Everything is hard with these Dodo. I totally regret signing up to them

I would rate it 0 if I could

I would rate it 0 if I could. I have had ongoing issues with Dodo for over a year. I went to the Ombudsman they went against what was decided.
Customer Service is disgusting I have contacted them numerous times and being advised my case manager would call back and then no one does.

Don’t trust the intro offer

The service itself was fine but no different to any other provider and still had outages/slow periods. However, they implemented a price increase within weeks of our service starting. When I contacted them to question this given there were other providers offering much lower prices (and they themselves were still offering new customers lower prices) they said they couldn’t help. Wasted almost an hour trying to get someone to speak to and got absolutely no assistance or explanation. I suspect their intro offer is a scam where they offer one price to get you to sign up and then immediately change that price. Would not recommend.

I'm extremely disappointed with the…

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Optus. The representative I spoke to over the phone was arrogant and rude, which made the experience frustrating and unpleasant. What's worse, there seems to be no proper complaint mechanism in place to report or escalate issues regarding staff behaviour. I felt dismissed and unsupported throughout the call, and it was clear they had no intention of actually helping.

My internet has been down for 1 month…

My internet has been down for 1 month and I’ve paid $180 in hotspot data. I can’t work from home. My work capacity has reduced. They keep blaming a local NBN outage but no one else in the local area with NBN has their internet down for 1 month - it’s clearly dodo. Please stay away from this company I highly advise against using their services. Now they are trying to bill me for no Internet.
Don’t do it to yourself. They have 1 stars for a reason.

Dodo is great! (mobile plan experience)

I really like Dodo, I use them for my mobile plan. In my experience their customer service has been great. I'm never on hold for more than 15 or 20 minutes (personally i think that is a very short wait time). Their service representatives are always kind and softly spoken, they are very thorough in making sure they achieve all your needs and requests.

The only issue I have experienced is a problem with my SIM card's connection particularly with overseas calls, but I am currently getting that sorted with them. I was advised that the problem occurred due to my SIM card being too old, as I have had the same one for a few years now. So really, no complaints!

I think Dodo is perfect for younger people looking for cheaper mobile plan options. After looking at the current market of mobile plans, I'm very happy with how little I pay, and still never run out of data or international call credit (which I use a lot of).

The reason why the Dodo went extinct

I was originally with Dodo with my internet and mobile for a very long time and ended up getting power and gas bundled also. The internet experience became ridiculous with slow speeds and drop-outs so I jumped ship for greener pastures.
How much longer I have Dodo power and gas just became relevant since I received a letter today telling me that Dodo is reducing my solar feed-in tariff from the pitiful 3.3c/kWh I was getting down to 0.04c/kWh. They are now STEALING my generated power to resell at about 750x what they are paying me for my own power. That's BS! I never signed up to give away my generated solar for free to greedy companies.

Stay away from Dodo - there are better options and I will be choosing one very shortly. Even if you call to speak to someone at Dodo, good luck understanding what the hell they are saying. Overseas call centres are the worst.

Trying to cancel my service and I CANT!!!

Trying to cancel my service (no contract) has taken over a week now and they continue to bill me. I cannot do it from the portal and when I called, the person that answered was unable to cancel my account. I have now been on hold for 20 minutes and have a chat open for even longer - AND I CANNOT CANCEL MY SERVICE. Do not use dodo - service is terrible and I cannot stress enough, that if you cannot cancel a service with one-click, you don't want that service.

Dodo dodo

I was with Dodo for a few years, they don't send invoices at all, I never received an invoice. They regularly put up prices, after notification of yet another price rise I decided to move to another more competitive provider. They took payment for 30 days, 10 days into that cycle my internet was changed to the new provider and told me they do not give credits for the 20 days of which I am no longer with Dodo and do not have their services. Wish I had read these reviews before joining them or cancelling so I could have times cancelation with my billing cycle.

I joined up with dodo cause I was told…

I joined up with dodo cause I was told you would send a tec worker out on a Saturday at 1.they never came but did on a Monday.i waited for a tec worker that never came I changed internet mob because I was told a tec worker works on Saturday.since iv changed internet people my internet is shocking it’s slow it cuts in and out I have a really tiny house only 3 people here and we’re using our mobile data cause dodo is not working at its best round 10 pm every nite we can’t get any internet in the bedrooms and use our fones.the staff lied to me and I’m always waiting to speak to someone that doesn’t understand what I’m saying it’s frustrating and I wish I never changed from node1 to dodo.iv been on the fone waiting now nearly an hour and the lady didn’t understand my complaint so now I’m waiting to speak to someone eles…the house I moved into is like 7 times smaller then my last house wotch had no issues with internet from node1 but this house is soooo small and dodo keep playing up real bad .im paying this bill and using my fone internet..dodo lift your game we pay for a product it would like to be able to use it…finally got hold of someone after hour and half and she got angery and HUNG UP how rude ..she rang bak twice and both times hung up??so now iv rang again finally got someone that understands what I’m saying but all up nearly 3 hours of total bs..the man I’m talking to is polite and so far good but wot a start to my day ..dodo I really dislike bn joined up with you and wish I never did .ill see this month threw then I’m done with yous so frustrating

Dodo do not sent invoices and for elderly or disabled people especially, but pretty much everyone, it’s terrible service to just have direct debit and no other payment options.
Today I was informed by one of their customer service people that dodo is looking into providing invoices ahead of time. But when I asked when it would occur, she didn’t provide a timeframe, so she was likely straight up lying that they are going to be doing it.
The internet drops out all the time anyway.
They are all around a terrible provider. I am switching to a better company that does provide invoices, and I’d advise anyone looking for an internet provider to not sign with them in the first place.

Disgusting costumer service in the world

I would love to rate them in ➖️ if there's an option. I wanted to cancel my current mobile plan online but it didn't allow me, and asked to request their representatives on chat. I was on hold for 20 minutes than a representatives showed up, and started arguing that why I'm canceling the plan. I had to wait at least 10 minutes for very single reply. After 2 hours on chat he told me that he will ask the case specialist to continue the chat. I waited another 20 minutes than a message was sent that he's busy. He will call you within 2 business days. Waisted my whole day.

DODO are predatory single parents $1100 bill

DODO are a predatory company if you ask to speak to a manager they will refuse I have been disputing a bill from 10 months ago no one can explain how a single parent household can use $1100 on a quarterly cycle. The person I have been speaking to wont put me on to someone else for a second opinion. I was on a payment plan but they added money to the bill for not paying on time (POTD) then lower on the bill it has a fee which varied on the month one was $100 another was $300. So Preditory watch out for this unhelpful company

Don't trust this company

Don't trust this company. Disconnected internet, electrical and gas from dodo while I move, paid final bills then dodo send debt collection companies after me even tho all bills are paid. And worse of all it was instantly done soon as I turned off from their services.

Internet never reached the speed I was paying for.

Electric was being charged well above what other companies would charge.

Gas bills always high even tho I never used the gas.

Dont trust their lies and promises.
