Don't sit on it = Pass the buck.. . What a disappointing experience with a company that do not meet their promise's. Insured for missing items sent up to £750. Sent 23 items in a large box which did not get delivered using their supplied return Royal Mail label. They passed the responsibility onto me, but Royal mail said it was the supplier of the returns label to file a claim. Absolute shambles of a company. Steer Clear.

Brilliant service my 1st time using them would recommend to my friends

The service was quick and everything they promised they delivered. The pack arrived swiftly, was easy to deal with and administer, and didn’t cost me anything to post. They replied quickly with more than I expected. When I agreed the money was in my account in under 30 mins.

Texted as requested (rather than calling) - due to my work commitments.
Would have liked to make a little more money, but isn’t that always the case…

Sent 8 items- two iPads, an iPhone X, three iPods and two good quality digital cameras.All were in good working order. I didn’t expect that I would be able to Retire from the proceeds of the sale but the offer I was sent was ridiculous and with no justification as to how they had come to the figure….£10.71!! When I refused the offer it was increased to the princely sum of £20. The phone alone was worth £50, so I asked for the items returning. An absolute joke of a company. Avoid at all costs!!!

Rubbish! Sent an item and did not hear anything for two weeks, then received the item back with no explanation!

On the positive side, they are extremely efficient at sending out the selling pack and it has very clear instructions, and they'll text to make sure you've received it.
On the negative side, they'll offer a very low price. I spoke to a local jeweller who said they'll always offer far more than online places. I was offered about £185 for 5 gold rings, plus silver cutlery and assorted bits of jewellery, which I thought was an insult. After some bartering, I got them up to £300. However if I ever sell just jewellery again, I won't waste my time going to Don't sit on it, I'd go to a jeweller.

The service was extremely quick and efficient - we received a text message to say our postage bag was on the way, a second text to say they had received it and then a phone call explaining the valuation - we accepted their offer and received our money within minutes - I would definitely use them again

Sent items, per the radio ad & their website "we buy all your unwanted old items in ANY AGE OR CONDITION". This is in fact not true, they wish to authenticate/verify items, if I had kept the receipts I would have sold the items. Condition cannot be poor... It took 10 days for them to return the items to me. Do not waste your time with this company, they are selective with what they accept/offer. Should be reported to Trading Standards for false advertising.

I sent off well over £1000 of both gold & silver jewellery. They tried to tell me that a 18ct gold ring from Sri Lanka wasn’t gold but gold tone.
They affected me £240 in total. I had including a wedding band that weighed 4grams - the going rate for 9ct gold today (2/2/26) is £36 per gram - £144 for the wedding band alone.
I have asked for my entire package to be returned to me. I hope everything I sent will be returned. I also sent silver bullion - which they said was not real.
I do not recommend don’t sit on it to anyone.

It's very easy. Fill up the bag with your items. Full and clear instructions are included. I wasn't sure whether there would be any value in some items but sent them anyway. I got a prompt phone call to say the value. And the money is transferred straight away into my bank account. It could not be simpler?

The whole process was quick and easy. We got more money than we anticipated for stuff that was just lying around the house. Literally got paid to have a clear out. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be using again in the future.
