I’m someone who never skipped/jump roped as a kid. Never! my wife started doing a bit after her run with a zero brand wire rope…she laughed so hard when I tried to learn. I’m 52 and it’s something I didn’t think I could ever master. Then I started watching Lauren jumps on you tube and she gave loads of tips to beginners, plus a intro to the guys (and gals) of dope ropes. So I bought a Lauren jumps signature beaded rope and secretly and patiently got good enough within 3 weeks to show off and impress my wife. She couldn’t believe it! the beaded rope made the process a joy! The weight is easier to control if your learning, and once up to speed acts as a resistance for a better workout, and the beads act as a point of vision so it’s easy to spot it coming round. Plus if one is stop start which we all are as learners, the beaded rope doesn’t tangle so it’s easier to reset and start over. Love it. I bought my wife one for Christmas and she is loving hers too. Lauren started me on this journey and dope ropes supplied the tools. Brilliant service and support. And to top it off dope ropes genuinely seem like a company that love what they do, and will go the extra mile to look after and support the customers and community within the jump rope world

After being inspired by watching Lauren Jumps on Youtube with my daughter, I decided to buy one of the jump ropes she uses, (pink one). Once received, we had a minor issue with the rope which was promptly dealt with by Dope Ropes. Communication was prompt and pleasant, They immediately sent me a replacement, (no charge). We have now been using the new rope daily with no problems. I am over 45 and quite out of shape but I am finding myself doing more and more jumps daily without getting out of breath. I am toning up too very quickly, although I also started doing weighted hula hooping which is great for toning the mid section and hips! I would definitely buy again from this company. I plan to get the beaded rope, as again, recommended by Lauren Jumps. I would highly recommend that you check out Lauren jumps on YouTube, I cannot believe the amazing stuff she does with a jump rope! I bought jumping mat and few ropes such as beaded and PVC. 😊
I have jumped on mat indoors, on wooden floor, on concrete and also in snow and looks like new, it protects my rope and my feet, especially when i jump rope barefoot, and also prevent from slipping when jumping in snow. I am very glad that i purchased it 😁
Jump ropes are also good. Untill now they haven’t broken 😅

Bought two ropes def not the quality I was expecting wouldn’t recommend!

The mat (standard) is absolutely perfect for me, it saves me from getting sore knees when jumping, as I've had knees problems in the past. I use it on my patio and it doesn't move or slip. It's lightweight and easy to store. Super customer service as the mat was delivered 48 hours after I'd placed the order. I'm so glad I bought it and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy skipping while protecting their joints.

I’m a 41 year old beginner and have been using a £2 rope from a local bargain shop. Decided to treat myself to a Dope Rope on payday and it’s an absolute game changer. You can adjust it to your height which is simple to do as well. Now I just need to get fitter so I can keep up with the thing. Happy costumer.

I had jumped rope for fun back in middle school but really hadn't since. I was looking for a fun cardio workout and wanted to try jumping rope. I found Dope Ropes' 1/4 l weighted rope in a review, and its been sooooo great! I can really sense where the rope is as I jump, and its been great to learn with. It's weighted enough for different kinds of skips and for me to feel the work out in the arms, but light enough that I can use it for cardio without getting bogged down. It's ideal, honestly.
