We have been a provider of medical supplies, medical equipment and incontinence supplies since 1985. We also provide our engineering services where we will fix and repair any medical equipment such as hoists, beds and much more. Were excellent, now slipping...
I've used Dorset Nursing Supplies for quite a few years now and always found them to be really personable and great with deliveries and stock. In my experience things have slowly been slipping. There isn't anywhere near as much stock choice on the website and deliveries are coming incomplete or split with no prior warning that some items might be delayed by 4-5 days or so. For example ordering 2 boxes of 10 masks and only receiving 2 masks. The delivery boxes are often pretty battered too. It's a shame.

Regarding split orders, if we don't have the full stock available on your order, we will send what we have with the rest to follow where possible. Delayed emails are automated, so we have requested for this to be looked in to. We have raise a complaint with Parcelforce, our chosen courier for the 'battered' boxes, as they do not leave our warehouse this way. I ordered a swimsuit from Dorset and…
I ordered a swimsuit from Dorset and paid £4.75 for delivery. The checkout page stated that this would be a next business day service. The item arrived on day 4 , delivered by Royal Mail using a 'Tracked 48' service costing £2.80.
I understand I need to pay a delivery charge on online items but I am not happy being misled on both the service and the charge. This is very poor.
The swimsuit has not been tried yet so my view of the company may change.

We do not guarantee next day delivery. We aim to deliver your order within 1-2 working days (Monday to Friday), for orders received before 1:30pm.

Hi David, your item was dispatched directly from the manufacturer, which is not on our next day delivery service. Within that statement you have highlighted it also specifies "Lead times will vary depending on the item"
Our standard delivery charges are:
£6.50* (+ VAT) - Orders under £25 (before VAT)
£4.75* (+ VAT) - Orders under £50 (before VAT)
£3.50* (+VAT) - Orders under £100 (before VAT)
Carriage Free - Orders over £100 (before VAT)
This covers packaging and admin time, as well as the postage.
For all in stock items that are readily available, we pay for and send them on a next day delivery service with Parcelforce. However, the disclaimer for 1-2 working days is to cover any complications during delivery, such as delayed shipments or the customer not being home. As you discussed with our customer service team, we have asked our website team to review how this is worded to avoid any further miscommunication in the future.

Swim suits were lovely colours and…
Swim suits were lovely colours and patterns. Unfortunately the main drawback is trying to actually get them on. I appreciate they’ve got to be a snug fit to prevent leaks but even so I didn’t expect to be a contortionist. I’m usually a size 10 but chose 12/14 which normally would be rather loose on me so I would definitely say go up at least 2 sizes.
