Very disappointed about their oils! I spent more than 500 euros buying their products because i had some problems with my skin, and now, after 3 months, i have the same problem and others much worse because of those oils. Now i have to find a cure which can hopefully treat the damage their oils did!

Money making machine. They don't care about the health of customers, its just a big scam to get some people rich.

Prior to finding doTERRA oils I had been using various brands which I purchased from both box stores and on line outlets. I would consider myself well above novice when it comes to blending oils for certain fragrances as well as for particular medicinal properties. I've been making soap for a couple of decades and find essential oils....well, essential. doTERRA oils are the best oils I have found. The quality of oils is outstanding, and the notes (scents) are spot on.
I will not be buying oils anywhere else unless something drastically changes. I have never had an issue with customer service or any of the consultants, though it does take a little effort to figure out how all the policies apply. I did consider giving 4 stars because the cost of some of the oils seem exuberant, but they are still worth every penny of the extra cost (not saying I wouldn't like to see a few prices come down a bit).

After being employed by doTERRA International I can give insider review about quality of doTERRA products, services, and company culture that is no longer reflects Christian traditions where company become radical in terms of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion on top of fanatic display of critical race theory. I feel that doTERRA no longer represents Utah Christian values and become one of the most radical companies I've ever worked for where Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion has its own department that is pushing LGBTQ ideas on all of their employees. DoTERRA HR consist of lunatics that push LGBTQ, critical race theory, diversity/equity/inclusion on all of their employees and if you ignore them, they will kick you out of the company. As for doTERRA products and after using their products for years, I personally realized that all of their product quality is NOT what they advertising on top of being unreasonably expensive and overpriced by comparing to any competitions. DoTERRA online technologies are completely 15-20 years outdated, have pretty much zero security, and an extremely poor quality. After learning about their security, I would never trust doTERRA with my personal information and especially my credit cards that literally can be hacked at any given point. I never created or shopped for doTERRA products online due to that security risk and neither should you!

Back in 2011, I joined doTERRA and tried the MLM experience. It didn't work for me since I wasn't ready to put in the energy to grow my business. But I stayed on with a basic wholesale account.

I simply don't understand the negative product reviews on this site. The only time I had an issue with the quality was when I bought from someone reselling doTERRA oils on eBay. I got Kumquat from that buyer, since doTERRA stopped carrying it. That was a mistake and I sent it back to the seller.

Every oil I've bought directly from doTERRA has been top quality. They are one of the very few essential oil companies that says you can use their oils internally, and I do... in my coffee, in my smoothies, in my recipes. I also use the oils, like Helichrysum to heal wounds and it's amazing. The Deep Blue helps tremendously with muscles. Their On Guard mouthwash is absolutely amazing. I can go on and on.

- Are doTERRA oils and products expensive? Yes, but they are safe and top quality.
- Will you make a million dollars selling doTERRA. Probably not, unless you really are great at marketing and networking. If so, you can make really good money.
- Is doTERRA cult-ish? Yeah, kinda, not really. I buy the oils at wholesale prices and they are happy with that. I get promotional emails and that's about it. But you can go full-in and do all their seminars and the annual conference in Utah as well to get that 'all-inclusive' feeling.

In summary, the negative reviews here are probably from the competitors like Young Living. Buying products directly from doTERRA monthly for over ten years is proof enough for me that they sell quality items. The few times that I've had to call in for support has been without issue.

Simply put - Don't listen to the haters.

like most big MLM compnies they seem to have lost their way, definitely not adhering to mission statement, GREED has taken over, profit before people.
I have tried to return 3 unwanted orders No much value but had cancelled by email then by phone but nothing happened and unfortunately my upline have not followed up with me.
Spoke with a GIRL, actually three different who more or less said we dont do that, ie accept returns, but promised to send some return labels anyway but definitely, to this day, did not produce return labels. I am still waiting. Now it is NOT about the money, it is about business ethics. We had our own business, face to face customer business, so we kinda know what is right and proper!
Am I angry, no, disappointed but not surprised at all !!

Exploiting very poor people. Greedy soulless evil company. Making false promises.

I could answer & disprove everything they say. I know we have freedom of speech, but this is defamation & damaging.

Best quality essential oils I've ever used. Great customer service.

I was personally attacked by a representative on Facebook. Told me I had to go back to aromatherapy school even though I am level 3 and 4 trained. There oils are not the best in the world like they say. It’s like the staff are brainwashed totally. All I said was that they didn’t have all the oils I use for therapies and I buy form certain places. She said that these other places were not as good. I was like excuse me you have not got a clue at all what your going on about. I then had 3 messages from other representatives attack me on messenger. Absolutely shocking 😡

They source unethically and do not adhere to the commitments they have made - like paying on time or at a fair price. The farmers and people in Somalyland are being exploited. Do not buy from DoTerra.

This is a company that is exploiting Somali harvesters, working with dubious middlemen and is telling people that they are building schools or benefiting communities which is not true. If you are an ethical buyer don't buy from them. Watch the Vice news investigation!

I purchased some oils from this company and the product was of absolute rubbish quality, I look into the company and find out they lied about their marketing they don't support the communities they steal their product from. I like their products, but the MLM type ‘contract’ to buy every month was getting expensive. My final straw was trying to get help from them when my order didn’t turn up, instead of contacting the postal service themselves they gave me a tracking number and expected me to do all the leg work. I disagreed with their customer service as I’m the customer, and then decided to send me a transcript of our discussion as though I was in the wrong. Not impressed with the poor customer service, lack of follow up or their bizarre attitude towards being confronted with their responsibility.

If I could put no stars I would. You should avoid this MLM companies. If you buy one time, they obliged you to take monthly. That s really bad for the environement. You try to stop them, they take your money and than it s difficult to get them back.

Will I ever get my refund?
Through several phone calls I was promised a refund. Every time, I was also assured that I would get a confirmation in my inbox which I never did. This is absolutely unacceptable! Also... one of the ladies I spoke with spent several minutes trying to convince me (almost begging) to keep my store credit and not get my refund. What is this place??
I am in every right to get my refund as promised.

The products are top notch, and the service is incredible. I have really enjoyed the aromatic signatures of their oils when I diffuse them. I highly recommend them!
