We have had our British Berkefeld for just over 12 months..my son and I now drink a lot more water. I use the Ultra Fluoride filters..honestly, I really couldn't recommend this system more..i use glass bottles to store in the fridge, so have eliminated plastics completely where water is concerned. I use the water for cooking too and my house plants are much happies and cut flowers seem to last longer! If its the cost thats stopping you, just add up how much you spend on bottled water or electricity on a filter system that you have to plug in..plus the Berkefeld is stainless steel..no plastics leaching into your water..it was my best purchase of 2025

Pure water. A difference you can feel.

Initially bought from Amazon but the filter's box arrived in a flimsy Amazon brown paper bag and had cracked in half (!!!), so I got a refund. For the same price (plus free shipping) I instead ordered item directly from Doulton, which arrived well packaged and within 48 hours. Suggest not buying Doulton filters from Amazon when, for the same price, you can get them safely packaged directly from Doulton.

Great water filter, I moved somewhere that doesn't add synthetic flouride to the water so using the cheaper filters at the moment and working great. If the water company do start adding synthetic flouride, I'll start getting the flouride filters. The filters last 6 months so a decent length of time. Easy to use and clean too.

Bought the counter top water filter. Took a bit to set up but am really pleased with it, and the improved taste of my water. Would highly recommend. I have a ceramic sink so can't fit the under-sink model. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged.

rapid delivery, good price and they have the job of remembering when to send them and not me. I loke the subscription idea for my filters. They are cheaper and I have no worries about forgetting them. I am impressed with Doulton so far.

Within one day of writing to customer services, I received information about a method to resolve the leaking of the tab or if that would not work , a way to replace it. Was happily surprised!

Good original product although has got relatively expensive since we installed the system 9 years ago

Wanted to upgrade from a plastic jug water filter and decided on this one. Also purchased the stand and stainless steel tap. Delivery was very quick. All arrived very well packaged. Straightforward to assemble. My version needed 3 rounds of filling and throwing the water away. Do not panic as the first and second times take hours to filter through. The third was quicker and then once I was able to start using the water it filters through much quicker. Did a blind tasting with my granddaughter to see if she could guess which was which. Not that difficult really as the filtered water is so much nicer. Very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased the 8.5 litre British Berkefeld stainless steel gravity water filtration system which comes with the Doulton ceramic filters. It arrived securely packaged with full instructions for what was a very easy set-up process and you can apply for a free 5 year extended warranty. I also ordered the stainless steel tap and stand, both are which are very useful add-ons. The SS tap is better quality than the standard plastic one and the stand adds height to make pouring easier. The filtered water is excellent. It tastes clean, but retains the subtle sweetness of the natural minerals. This is one of the primary reasons I chose this over reverse osmosis as I found the taste from that to be flat and sterile. I also wanted to reduce plastic use as much as possible. Very easy to clean and maintain. Should last a lifetime.

I love my filter! I have been searching online for a long time trying to choose the right system for me and I eventually chose the Berkefeld gravity filter. The water tastes great. The quality and look for the filter is top.
