Wish I could give it ZERO stars!

Wish I could give it ZERO stars! Took my money, did nothing for my computer and then asked for an additional $399 for “follow up services”. STAY AWAY. Contacted my bank for a refund and to stop recurring payments. Complete SCAM. I simply did a factory reset and my MacBook is now working like brand new.

Ridiculous

What a royal pain to install. Decided not to do but you can not cancel subscription even though tried before using and within an hour of buying. This is not at all as easy as they present. Had I known I have to talk to someone on the phone to install I would never have bought it. Plus you have to wipe your computer of any viruses BEFORE using their protection. Ridiculous. Easier to just go to Apple Store.

Took advantage of my father who suffers from dementia.

The pop up for this "service" popped up on my father's computer claiming to be part of Norton's new product. That is a lie. My father is in his 80s and suffering from dementia. How shameful that a company would take advantage of someone like that. I am in the process of denying the charges and getting my father's money back.

Avoid this 'protection'

Appeared on my kid's computer when he didn't unclick 'install some junk on the side?' while getting a new game. Researching it, I do not trust this software in the least. It fights tooth and nail to avoid being uninstalled, took me 1.5 hrs to get rid of it and the other stuff it brought along and restore the various windows settings it damaged. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS SOFTWARE. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE IT, YOU PROBABLY WANT TO GET RID OF IT.
