Absolutely terrible company
If you’re considering being a customer of Dragon WiFi, but want reliable WiFi and decent customer service, don’t bother and go elsewhere.
I am a current customer of Dragon WiFi, who provide internet to my static caravan on a holiday site in Somerset. The internet is unfortunately unreliable, as whilst streaming TV like Netflix etc, it pauses/buffers numerous times.
Sometimes the internet also just stops working, that is sorted by either resetting or the universal “have you tried turning it off and on again”.
Yet again on my latest visit to the caravan, the stream paused/buffered numerous times, and the following morning we had no internet at all. I tried all the normal things (turning off and on again) to rectify it, but still no internet.
The process for reporting these issues to them is via an online ticket system, and they don’t accept telephone calls on a weekend unless you’re a priority business customer or there’s infrastructure damage.
So, I completed a ticket, and after around half an hour or so, I received a request for photo images of the router etc.
I sent the images they wanted straight away, but during the following 3-4 hours I received no communication whatsoever. I updated the ticket twice during this time, asking for any updates, but they just ignore you.
I then checked their pages on both Facebook and Instagram, but no updates were on there either, and strangely there were no comments on any of their posts.
Due to being ignored by Dragon WiFi, and still having no internet, I left comments on both their Facebook and Instagram pages. The comments were not incorrect, and were not abusive or nasty. They were stated as just for people’s consideration if they thought about being a customer.
Still without any communication or update from Dragon WiFi, they then just deleted any comments from their pages, and blocked me. Presumably lots of people had put negative comments on their pages for them to delete and block, which would account for why they don’t seem to have any comments.
Coincidentally, shortly after this (around 5 hours after first ticket), they then decided to remotely reset my internet.
They clearly delete any negative comments n their own social media pages, however, there are many negative comments about them on ‘trustindex.io’.
If you want internet for any reason, do not waste your time and money with this company. Their services are unreliable, and the customer service is extremely poor and unprofessional.
