I visited Dr Ali and his team at the end of January/ beginning of February for a facelift, neck lift, temporal lift, lip lift and rhinoplasty. The whole process was very well organized and my results are absolutely incredible! I never believed I could look this good! The hospital was spotless and the nurses checked on me constantly. Antwell hotel was lovely and I was seen by the nurse everyday at the hotel. Dr Ali really is an incredibly skilled surgeon, and also very kind man. I can’t recommend him and his team enough!

The antwell hotel is used by numerous surgeons with a 24 hour medical room-you know when you arrive at the hotel- which is wonderful( other than limited English channels so take Netflix) highly respected by patients and I heard from other surgeons.
I was very anal in my year research of short listing surgeons looking at feed back qualifications etc so initially it was difficult to choose . I knew however from my initial correspondence with Ecem the choice I eventually made was the right one. Ecem is a godsend , she is patient and prompt in response without pushing or attempting to sell you services you don’t need . I actually don’t think this beautiful lady sleeps as always only minutes away. Big shout out to this amazing lady xx
Post care was daily with nurse Ali and you have a group chat where contact can be made 24/7.
I must share the following. On my day of discharge , my flight was cancelled and the hotel informed me , they were fully booked. I was devastated. Alone in ist following multiple surgeries without flight or accommodation. Dr Ali not only arranged for me to stay on until my new flight 3 days later , but nurse Ali checked in everyday. All I can say guys is you will find good surgeons in ist and a couple ( from talking with others at the medical hotel) who are not so good, but do not under estimate the entire process, particularly if travelling alone ..
All I can say is I will be back to dr Ali once I’ve saved enough to do so and recommend without hesitation .

I found Dr Ali through a previous patient who had posted her experience on FB. She was still in Turkey and having had numerous previous cosmetic surgeries and used various surgeons before, was so impressed by Dr Ali and his team that she felt the need to tell others. I second her views.

Dr Ali and his team are amazing. Ecem and Gizem, his coordinators, are super responsive and answer any questions almost immediately. Nurse Ali comes every day to the hotel infirmary to check on you and give advice. Sami and Nurse Inci are also great.

The care and aftercare you receive with Dr Ali's team is excellent. Dr Ali is genuinely a warm, caring person who cares about his patients, their expectations and results.

The hotel with 24 hour infirmary is great. Most guests have had cosmetic surgery and no one bats an eyelid at breakfast!

Every detail is handled by Dr Ali's team. All you have to do is turn up!

After being recommended to Dr Ali by a friend, I chose his team for my treatment in Turkey. This was a big decison after I promised myself I would NEVER return to Turkey for a treatment again. 5 years ago I had an experience with a different surgeon and my results left a lot to be desired. This trip was partially to correct the mess left by the other Turkish surgeon. We have to be so careful when selecting surgeons in Turkey. Being swayed by price alone and not doing proper research is a foolish mistake. There is so much misinformation out there and way too many reps lurking around support groups.
From my first contact, Ecem was professional, friendly, and attentive. Working quickly and efficiently. I was given a wonderful wats ap group to join that was full of other patients using the Dr. It was so supportive and fun. It is a private group consisting only of patients. I still use the group now because it is just lovely and full of the most incredibly funny, amazing, supportive people. From the moment I arrived in Istanbul I felt truly cared for and listened to, which eased my anxiety about such a big decision. Dr Ali has an incredible bedside manner. It is rare to find such a talented surgeon who also has exceptional soft skills and ability to make you feel comfortable. I even had the opportunity to spend some extra one on one time with Dr Ali because he used his own travel services from the airport. He was perfectly happy to travel with a total stranger patient (I wouldn't be... I would travel alone if I were him.. general public can be a weird bunch ;0 ) He was approachable, down to earth, kind, intelligent and clearly incredibly passionate about his work, team dynamics and patient care.
I was also fortunate to be able to compare my journey with one of my best friends who travelled out at the same time as me. She used a different surgeon and was put in a different hotel. I was shocked at how different our experiences were. She actually left their hotel in the end and paid extra to stay with me in the Antwell Suites for her recovery. Her journey was much more stressful than mine. Dr Ali’s care, comfort, and waiting times were unmatched. The overall care package is important, not just the surgical results. My friend has also had excellent results but her overall experience left alot to be desired in regard to stress, anxiety, comfort and care. I almost enjoyed my experience, which is a bizarre thing to say about going for a surgery. It made me very glad I had chosen Dr Ali.
I had some specific concerns about anaesthesia and how I react to it. They were addressed directly by the anaesthetist, who I actually got to meet and speak with. He ensured my recovery was smooth and comfortable. Nurse Ali was very supportive, steadfast and consistent. Ensuring eveything went seamlessly and in good time through the hopspital. Translating for me and generally being a great support.
The nurses in the hospital were kind and accommodating, even offering meal options to suit my preferences. Those who didnt speak English were sweet and willing to engage with a translator on my phone. Even the cleaner stayed for a google translate chat with me. I can't understand people complaining about nrses not speaking English. If you go to Turkey not every nurse will speak English. Staying at The Antwell Suites made recovery easy, with prompt support whenever needed. Most people staying there are in recovery which makes it a fun and supportive environment to be in. The facilities and food were very good. Transport and hotel services were excellent.
My healing was as fast and comfortable as can reasonably be expected. My results are fantastic and my incisions are neat. I wish I had gone a little lower with my scar by Dr Ali went through all my options with me, made the pros and cons of scar placement and I made my own decisions on placement, so that is on me. The only improvement I could suggest is to give a little more time and room when patients are looking at paperwork. That is the only thing I can think of and that is scraping the bottom of the pettiness barrel. I highly recommend Dr Ali and his team to anyone considering treatment in Turkey—they exceeded all my expectations. I will certainly return to to him in the future....in fact I am l am already looking at my next procedure. Be carefull he is addictive ! Going with his team was more like a fun break from work and well needed change of scenery, hanging out with fun, like minded people, rather than a scary surgery. I dont make light of surgery, it is a big decsion and it can be scary. Recovery can be a grind, which is exactly why you need good support services and comfortable surroundings. Finding a clinically gifted surgeon is step one, the other details also need consideration. Dr Ali and his team are the whole package.

One month ago, Oct 8 and 9, 2025 my wife and I both had face lifts performed by Dr. Ali Cetinkaya. I had a deep plane face and deep neck lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, direct brow lift and fat grafting. My wife had a deep plane face lift, deep neck lift, lower blepharoplasty, gliding brow lift, fat transfer and stem cell. Regarding the actual surgery and our results one month later, both of us are very pleased. Dr Ali is an excellent surgeon with wonderful personable manners.

I am choosing to focus on the complete turnkey nature of his service and team of professionals working with him because it was not something I saw in other reviews and is important.

From arriving to Istanbul International airport and meeting our ride, to being dropped off at the airport on departure day, we were never once left for wanting. Literally, every and all aspects of this journey from arrival to departure were handled by his great team of professionals. Our initial contact with his coordinator Ecem, was very positive. She was incredibly responsive to our questions and setting up our video conference with Dr. Ali over the course of several weeks of text and audio dialogue via WhatsApp. Dr. Ali's office activities were seamlessly managed by Gizem. She was on top of every logistical question asked and service provided. Our post operative care was beautifully managed by Nurse Ali, who visited with us each day at the hospital and at Antwell medical hotel, changing dressings, assessing progress and answering questions. He was gentle, polite and detailed the entire time. Another person was Simi who handled a variety of medical and non-medical tasks who was a wonderful and kind empathetic man. Dr. Ali’s operating room Nurse, who I met when she removed our stitches, was a top end medical professional. She has a 4-letter name I cannot remember. His videographer was also a good man who pitched in of his own initiative, outside of his videographer duties. What made this journey memorable was how each of them integrated so well as a team. Their teamwork and mutual respect were apparent from day one.

The private hospital from which Dr. Ali performs surgery was modern, clean and well-staffed. The floor Nurses English was just so-so, but Google Translate when needed, made this a non-issue. The food, as many patients agreed, was not good. But you’re only there for two days not including your surgery day.

Antwell medical hotel is a modern, clean and well-staffed facility with daily housekeeping. Their restaurant food is good. Breakfast was our favorite with many selections. Go to the top floor where there is a great view, a pool table and coffee bar or downstairs on the ground floor where there’s a pastry/coffee shop. The 4th floor has a relaxing living room type of seating area. Breakfast was our favorite. There’s also a tasty Kabob restaurant at the top of the hill from Antwell and an impressive north American style mall about a 12-minute walk downhill from Antwell that’s loaded with quality restaurants.

A quick note regarding payment…I assume like us, many bring the maximum allowable cash into the country and pay the balance with a credit card. The remaining balance on your surgery will likely be charged through Antwells front desk charge card machine and not directly by Dr. Ali’s practice. So, don’t be surprised or alarmed. It’s normal and you will be issued electronic receipts.

I hope this helps with your decision-making process. We couldn’t be happier that Dr. Ali and his superb team of professionals were our choice. They were all terrific.

Dr. Ali and his team are the best, they are with you in the whole process from beginning to end, Drn Ali is an expert of his art in face lifting procedures, you feel right at home with all of them and they take care every single detail with care , love and enthusiasm. very grateful for the experience and healing every day, can not wait to see the final results, so far I am very happy.

I had a facelift, neck lift, platysma bands repair, brow lift and temporal lift with Dr Ali Cetakeye, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning he made me feel comfortable, listened to all my concerns, and explained everything in clear detail.
I live with hemicrania continua, (which is a rare, chronic headache disorder that causes constant, fluctuating pain on both sides of my head and face) , so I was worried about how the surgery and recovery might affect my pain. Amazingly, not only was the whole process so much easier than I expected, but the constant pain I had over my eyebrows has now completely gone since surgery. That in itself has been life-changing.
The results look so natural — my jawline and neck are smooth, the platysma bands are gone, and the lift around my brows and temples has completely refreshed my face without making me look “done.” I still look like me, just a better, brighter version.

Last month I got a deep plane lower and temporal face and necklift + fat grafting under my eyes and co2 laser.

I am 38 years old and I try to take care of my skin. Unfortunately due to stressy situations the last years and weight loss I started to look much older and people always commented me if I didn't sleep well.

I did fillers, radiesse and Hifu but it is a lot of money for minor difference... So I wanted a real effective one time treatment and that's why I choose to go for a facelift already at my age.

I actually used chatgpt to ask where I needed to go and dr. Ali cetinkaya was one of the names chatgpt mentioned. Chatgpt mentioned dr. Ali because of his great reviews. First I was doubting because there is a negative conotation about going abroad for treatments but I am glad I choose to go!

I am from Belgium and If I had the same facelift as I had with dr. Ali I would have gone home the same day but now I had to stay in hospital for two day's and they checked me constantly. Afterwards I stayed in the hotel where the other patients of the doctor also stay. You dont feel alone there. So if you are travelling alone you don't need to be scared because you will feel at home here.

The hotel is used to patients staying here and they are so friendly! Next to the reception there is a medical office where a nurse is available 24/7 and dr. Ali and his team visit the hotel everyday.

After my surgery the doctor or nurse checked me every day and this is a big plus. This service I wouldn't have had in my own country. I would have gone home and only got back to the docter if the stitches needed to be removed. So actually if you have a good doctor and a good team you are better of here then at home alone.

I was very very nervous before the operation. As I am a perfectionist and know how I want things done it is difficult to not be nervous to give your face in the hands of someone you don't know so i was so nervous and was scared that I made the wrong decision. Dr. Ali even came to the hotel the night before to talk to me and reassurd me. He even said he is not going to operate if I am doubting or we can plan later so there was no pressure... I really appreciated that he still came to talk to me at 10h in the evening before the operation. It say's alot about how they take care of the patients.

So for the operation ...
When I woke up I had a little bit of pain but you can relate it like a bad hangover. I think i felt this like two day's afterwards you dont really feel pain anymore. Your face is swallon for three weeks but afterwards you can perfectly go out. I cover my scars with my long hair so nobody notices.

And then the most important... The results! I wanted to stay the same just refreshed. I wanted my eyes to stay natural so no fox eyes and a tight jawline... And I got 100 procent what I asked! So thank you dr. Ali!!! You did amazing work! The results are really natural. It looks just like a big glow up!

I also had fat grafting under my eyes and I make a joke about it to my friends. I say the best thing about my facelift is my flat stomach 😂. The doctor used some fat of my stomach and now my stomach seems tighter so I don't complain about that 😂.

So I can say I am happy with the decision to go abroad and that I choose dr. Ali. Dr. Ali and his team are so friendly and professional. You are really in good hands with him and his team. I was to nervous so I hope my review can help because you really dont need to be... You are in the best hands!
