Stay away from this company. My vacuum broke after only 5 months. It has taken over 40 emails, videos and so many phone calls (good luck getting through to speak to someone) and three months without my vacuum (which has been returned twice) and the matter is not resolved. They are horrible to deal with. They have had me in tears. I have spent ever afternoon after work for the last three months to try to resolve this. At the moment they have my vacuum and my money. I would score minus 100 stars if possible. I have never had such bad customer service ever. Should be called Nightmare cause it’s not a dream with this company. Hope they close down.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dreame Australia. I placed an order for a robot vacuum on November 18, 2024, through their official Australian website and have yet to receive the product. Despite numerous attempts to contact their customer service team, they failed to provide an estimated delivery date or meaningful updates.
After weeks of waiting, I requested a refund, only to be told that I need to wait for the product to be “returned to sender”—even though I never received the product in the first place! This is not only unacceptable but also completely illogical.
Their lack of communication, accountability, and transparency is appalling. My experience aligns with many other negative reviews I’ve seen on platforms like Reddit and Product Review, which reflect widespread dissatisfaction with their poor customer service.
Save yourself the frustration and avoid purchasing from Dreame Australia. I am now escalating this matter to Fair Trading NSW to seek a resolution.

Worst customer service. Ever.
I wish I saw more reviews about the customer service of Dreame before purchasing. I ordered on 04/12 it’s now 16/12, it hasn’t even been posted. Normally wouldn’t mind, but they charged $50 for express! I have contacted them via email 4 times, I got zero response so tried live chat they said they would get back to me about my order and then never did. Am trying to cancel the order and hearing nothing.
The product reviews look good, would advise buying through Amazon so they are held accountable to look after your order!
Beware: Frustrating Experience with Dreame Customer Service
I purchased the Dreame L40 Ultra on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, and reached out to the seller's customer care early Monday, December 2nd, 2024, to cancel my order before it shipped, as I intended to buy a different model of their product X40 ultra. The agent I spoke with confirmed that my order had been canceled and encouraged me to proceed with my new purchase. I was also assured that my refund would be processed within 48 hours. However, I have yet to receive the refund as of the time of writing this review. Since then, I've called them multiple times, but I keep receiving conflicting information. This company is a joke Please stay off unless you want to lose your money.

I would never buy anything from Dreame, our 1,200.00 pool cleaner is one year old with a 2 year warranty and it's completely worn out, their so-called service is just talk,talk,talk and no help whatsoever, they simply just ignore you. Never again. BEWARE

Non Existent Pathetic Customer Service
At first machine was good. Few months in and stopped working. A nightmare of more than three months trying to deal with pathetic customer service of Dreame and we still don’t have our machine back. Only way from here is ombudsman. This company is a scam!

Rotten Customer Service!!!
Dreame customer support is nonexistent! They seem to continually move the goalposts by changing what they said last time, LIE after LIE! Then you have to prove to them with emails, receipts, and tremendously long phone calls what was really said! I think I must have talked to over a dozen representatives regarding my replacement that was promised, and to date, I still have the defective device!!! I’ve asked for my replacement, and they said I received a full refund? It’s unfortunate that the Dreame company only sent me part of the information, the part that they thought would work to their advantage! Proving to Dreame that I paid full price for two X40 devices, sent them the two receipts, then they told me it was over 30 days! I explained that this very expensive X40 was defective out of the box, and the 30-day replacement policy should have been honored!!! Especially since the Dreame representative told me it would! The upper management hides behind the call center and does not seem to like customers considering all of the LIES they spread! It has been over 4 months currently, and I am still discussing this Dreame debacle! Maybe I should hire a lawyer regarding the Dreame replacement policy since I’ve been ripped off!!! If you are looking to purchase a robot vacuum, don’t buy from Dreame unless you want to fight for your right to have a product that works as advertised!!! Have to argue with representatives that tell LIE after LIE!!! If I had known this before I purchased the X40, I would not have made my purchase with Dreame and would refer prospective customers to not purchase from Dreame, their support is the worst!!!!!
Easy to use!
We enjoy using our Dreame H14 Pro. It does an excellent job on traffic areas. The cleaning function is great.

In July 2024, after purchasing the X40 I was very excited! When I found out it the X40 wasn't working as advertised, the side brush and extending mop pad wasn't working. I reached out to Dreame support, days and days on the phone with Dreame to diagnose the the X40 was defective and needed to be replaced. I explained to them at the time that I wasn’t going to be at this location for a long period of time and they would need to expedite the new X40 in order for me to receive it. They weren’t able to deliver the vacuum in time? I was told be the Dreaame rep that, NO WORRIES, you just send me an email when you arrive back to this location and we will send out your device. I was fairly impressed, the only problem the amount time i was on the phone! Fast forward to October after being promised a new X40, I sent the agent an email explaining that I’m back and what do we need to do to get the replacement in motion? Here’s were the plot thickens! Now I’m being told that I need to send my new X40 into a service center for repair since it’s past the 30 day return policy? Again weeks after weeks they denied my claim for replacement? They told me that received a full refund on my purchase from amazon? Again I asked what are you folks at Dreame talking about? There response was that I returned my X40 and received a full refund and Dreame wasn’t going to do anything at all for me??? I informed Dreame the whole story. I purchased the first X40 from Amazon that was at full price, I called Dreame since I seen the priced had dropped. Dreame informed me to return the first X40 to receive a full refund and the purchase another X40 at the lower price, all good so far. So I completed my return and re-purchase. Upon arrival of the second X40 the extending arm and brush pad wasn’t working most of the time as advertised. Dreame at that time diagnosed that I had a defective device and needed to be replaced… I then had submitted to Dreame the 2 invoices for this nightmare process of owning a Dreame product, they then decided that I did return and received a full return, and also paid for another X40! Now they said they would replace my defective X40 like I was informed in July. I have as I explained sending emails, exhausting phone calls to Dreame, the LIE after LIE this company promotes is sad and pathetic!!!! This company is clueless and should not be allowed to sell pencils in the USA!!! Currently as I explained before, I have been waiting for my call that i was promised! This ordeal has been escalated to upper management and have expected multiple calls to have Dreame explain to me what are they trying to accomplish here??? Not one phone call at all? The latest email as of yesterday November 6, 2024 was looking for my invoice and trucking number??? It is suppose to be tracking number, irregardless, THIS COMPANY IS CLUELESS! I am still waiting for a call, and a new X40, or something from Dreame!! I received a email on October 29, 2024 telling me that “ You don’t need to send back the vacuum ”, now they tell me I need to send back the vacuum? These people are warped!!! If I don't receive any resolution regarding this, I think I will have to get legal representation involved, since DREAME is just a company the LIES AND LIES, the upper management hides behind the call center agents, they change the goal posts and speak nothing but LIES!!! We don't want to be without the Dreame L20 Ultra Complete robot anymore.
We are so happy that we have chosen our new “family member”! It is also great fun to watch the dream at work. We have several rooms, some with very large areas, which he vacuums and mops or even just mops (kitchen and bathroom) and we are highly satisfied with the result after completing his activities! In between, he has to go back to the base several times to clean his wiper blades, to empty the dust container and also to recharge, but that's basically great. Only when returning to the base station does he choose what he believes to be the shortest and most direct route. He then agonizes over carpets and chair runners, sometimes gets stuck and has to get out of his dilemma by moving back and forth, forward and back. So far, however, he has always done this on his own. It would of course be great if his AI would gradually learn so that he doesn't always “rush his head through the wall” back to the base station, but also learns to avoid obstacles when returning. That would save time and energy. It has also happened that he “spent time” in an area after charging because he no longer knew where he had left off. But these aren't all big things. It's even fun to watch the Dreame “rummaging through” from time to time. In the run-up to our purchase, we compared tests and watched many videos and then opted for the Dreame L20 because it was mostly rated positively and of all vacuum robots that might have been considered, we liked the best because of the straight-lined design and the white color. <

- Information about an empty water tank has worked reliably so far (reminder to empty the waste water tank was too frequent, is superfluous) - the pre-set amount of water during cleaning is also good > - obstacles are easily identified (so far only gave a false alarm due to a reflection in the window)... Even shoes are recognized as solves Cons: - Obstacles will we avoid too roughly - Cleaning the corners could be better - Wiping performance is ok, but could also be better in some cases - the suction level can only be adjusted in the cleaning schedule (I wish that I can change it even when cleaning is started manually... Or can adjust during cleaning) - When cleaning, ferry and heating but not when vacuuming that is stupid that can correct

Dream X40 Review: A Nightmare Purchase
I regret buying the Dream X40. The experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The charging station emits a bright light at night, which makes it impossible to sleep properly unless I drape a sweater over it to block the light.
When I reached out to customer service, I was told the light comes on due to "electricity fluctuation" issues. Trusting their explanation, I wasted money on an electrician, only to find out there were no problems with my electrical system.
After that, it was just a frustrating back-and-forth with customer service, who took no responsibility and continued to deny there was any issue with the device. They offered no helpful solutions, leaving me feeling ignored and stuck with a poorly designed product.
I highly do not recommend the Dream X40 if you value your peace of mind and want a product that works without hassle.

Their support lost our device during delivery and insists it was delivered, but according to AusPost, it clearly ended up at a different address. Despite this, they refuse to compensate us. We were charged $99 for the device to be checked and repaired, but after waiting for over three months, the device got lost. I strongly advise against buying with this company
Hands-Free Cleaning from Now On
My wife and I live in a 70m² flat, with half of the area carpeted, including the living room and bedrooms. My wife keeps the house very clean, typically vacuuming 3-4 times a week with a stick vacuum.
I didn't have the chance to start using our new robotic vacuum until this week. So far, I have tried several functions, including:
1. Multi-floor house mapping
2. Clean Genius mode
3. Deep cleaning mode
My wife and I believe we will be hands-free from now on. Here are a few observations:
1. The mop extends intelligently when the robot reaches edges or dead areas.
2. The mop lifts when the robot cleans the carpet, preventing it from getting dirty.
3. The robot can measure distances precisely and navigate through very narrow passages. When it encounters a low-height area or obstacles, it stops, assesses the situation, and tries different paths.
With the app, you can control the robot remotely. I asked it to clean our home while I was in Greece earlier this week, and my wife confirmed that the cleaning was excellent.
The design of the station and the robot is aesthetically pleasing, serving as a decorative addition to our flat.
This is my first robotic vacuum, and overall, we are extremely happy with it. It's a fantastic product for any household, even if you have a heavily carpeted home.

Spare blades are no where to get and there software for the mower gets worse and worse
