First remote consult with Dr Helen and as a mum and a doctor I couldn’t be more impressed. I learnt so much in the hour we chatted together. Dr Helen has a wealth of knowledge and experience with allergy and it is clear she wants the very best for her patients offering tests and treatments that are not available on the NHS and that are potentially life saving. Dr Helen arranged tests with Dr Steven and Nurse Michaela immediately after our consult and they were great with my daughter. I feel empowered to take on OIT with her team with the understanding we will be well supported with a tailored approach. Thankyou.

For 15yrs we have been living a life of control with constant anxiety due to managing food allergy. With the help,support, guidance and trail blazing policy developed by Dr Helen, Dr Stephen and the amazing nurses Michaela and Jen, my son has finally reached his goal of "free eating". Our wish would be that other families, individuals get the opportunity to avail of this ground breaking service as it goes from strength to strength.

Very pleased with Dr Helen Allergy, in particular Dr Frampton, ENT consultant, understanding and knows his field inside out, had 2 visits as ongoing sinus issue, Dr Frampton guided me through process, provided in depth follow up letters. Put my mind at ease after months of uncertainty. Would definitely recommend.

We were so impressed with our first visit to the Dr Helen Clinic in Dundonald. Dr Kinnear immediately put us at ease with his knowledge and experience, we were able to ask all the questions we wanted and did not feel rushed or under pressure. He was very patient with our daughter who was very anxious about the testing and we were able to get all the tests done we needed on the day. A report letter was sent very promptly through to me after our visit.

Helen provides a fantastic service for children and their families. 100% recommend .

Dr Helen and her amazing team have changed our son's life and our lives immeasurably.

Our 6-year-old has allergies to peanuts, cashews and pistachios and six months ago there was always an element of anxiety hanging over him and all the family, that only those who live with allergies can appreciate and understand. Six months on and he eats a few of these nuts every day and we can now enjoy them again too. Six months ago, our son was scared to go on play dates without us, as he worried about eating food that wasn't checked by his parents. He now asks to go on play dates and has blossomed in confidence and is generally a happier boy. We also no longer stress about letting him out of our care.

Before starting the OIT process we were really hesitant. We thought it might be anxiety-creating for our son and would restrict his daily life. We could not have been more wrong. From the first appointment we realise how we need not have worried. The clinic appointments every two weeks became an enjoyable and relaxed part of our routine. All of Dr Helen's team made us and son feel completely welcome, at ease, supported and listened to. They have managed to combine absolute professionalism with total empathy and understanding.

The time has flown by and has been uplifting for us all. Dr Helen and the OIT process was completely flexible with various family commitments and holidays, and it was never a chore. Peanuts and other nuts have become a positive part of our family life, and we know that Dr Helen is there to support us if needed.

Dr Helen and her team are amazing! I honestly do not know where she finds the time to do it all. I will be forever grateful to her for setting up the Belfast clinic. The 9 hour round trip commute was worth it as my son is now eating 6 peanuts and counting.

The service we received was outstanding. We were quickly attended to and guided towards the most affordable appointment suitable for our requirements. Charlotte was fantastic with my daughter, and we swiftly received a letter with the diagnosis and medical advice. Highly recommend!

We just started OIT with Dr Helen. From the minute we signed up we've felt supported and were given all of the information we needed. Having a pre start call helped to settle our nerves and gave us the opportunity to ask questions. Our first session went really smoothly and our daughter is excited about the start of her journey. The staff are so kind and you can feel the love in the room. Very different to any allergy treatment we've experienced in the past. We feel very lucky and grateful to have this opportunity to change our daughter's life.

Dr Helen Allergy is fantastic. In our dealings with both Dr Vas and Dr Helen it is clear that not only do they have expert knowledge of allergies and treatment options but that they are clearly experienced in dealing with allergy sufferers day in day out. They really understand the fears and concerns of patients (and their parents) and are incredibly willing to listen, explain, answer questions and take the time to ensure all options for treatment are explored. They are also extremely responsive to emails. We have found the service to be excellent and would highly recommend Dr Helen Allergy.

We attended Dr Helen Allergy in Belfast for OIT treatment with our 4 year old. After some really disheartening appointments with other specialists, from the first appointment Dr Helen was worlds apart, so positive and reassuring. We had some difficulties along the way and both her and Dr Steven supported all the way and were even happy for us to take a step back and restart some elements. We are so glad we came across Dr Helen, her knowledge, understanding and guidance has really transformed how we live with allergies. Thank you!

I cannot recommend Dr Helen Allergy Clinic highly enough. Nurses Jen and Charlotte were wonderful with my 7 year old, helping him feel calm and at ease throughout. He also loved the range of toys and games that kept him entertained while we waited for the test results! Dr Kathryn was exceptionally thorough and provided clear guidance on the next steps. Although we received a lot of new information, we left feeling reassured, informed, and well supported. Thank you to the whole team.

We contacted Dr Helen for support with our 8 month old baby’s allergies, primarily around a milk allergy after following her on instagram.

We spoke with Dr Helen & discussed our concerns and arranged a virtual appointment with Dr Vas.

We got an appointment really quickly at a time that suited us and discussed our concerns, history and how we would like to proceed. Dr Vas was extremely knowledgeable but also helped us with feeling validated around our concerns which have previously been dismissed. We arranged for skin prick testing to be carried out alongside an oral food challenge. This helped alleviate some of my concerns that we would be in a supported environment to do this.

As we’re based in the North of England we arranged to fly to Belfast for our skin prick testing. This couldn’t have been easier, a quick 40 minute flight and a 20 minute taxi to the consulting rooms. I would highly recommend the team in Belfast.

The team at Belfast were excellent, Michaela talked us through the testing & a really clear explanation of what would happen including what any reaction may look like. She was also great with our little one.

We had a really positive outcome & experience at our testing & have left feeling relieved & confident to move forward with the milk ladder using the information Dr Vas has given us.

I can’t thank you all enough for the support. I finally feel validated, supported & so much more informed ready to support our child through this journey. Your patience, reassurance and clear explanations made the whole process so much easier for all of us.

I can’t recommend the team enough, the speed at which we’ve managed to get clear answers and support has been well worth the investment & I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again should we need any further support.

Had a really positive experience with Dr Helen. She listened to all of my concerns (which were many) and took the time to go through everything with me thoroughly and was empathetic and kind whilst also suggesting simple practical ways I could improve my health. Dr Helen also tried to avoid me spending money on allergy testing as she felt it was unlikely I had allergies and my issues were caused by other health problems. I had the testing anyway fory peace of mind but she was absolutely correct! Honestly such a refreshingly good experience and I will definitely visit this clinic again - not for allergies obviously, but for one of the many other services they offer. Highly recommend.

Recently had a skin prick test and everything went smooth and the staff were kind so would definately reccomend
