I dealt with a very pleasant person on the phone to purchase a vehicle. There was some discrepancy/questions about one of the fees so I wasn’t sure I wanted to move forward with it. The salesperson suggested I put a deposit of $500 on it while we wait for an answer about the fee. He also promised it would not be an issue to get my money refunded if I decided to cancel the deal. I waited two days for an answer and each day I got a response they were waiting on the dealer to respond. I never signed a contract to purchase the vehicle. On the third day, I cancelled the deal with the salesperson and the manager via text. The salesperson responded, manager did not, and said my money would be put back on my card within 3-5 business days. It has been over a week and I still didn’t get my deposit back, so I started a dispute with my credit card company. I messaged the salesperson about it and he apologized and said he put in for the refund three times and wasn’t sure why it hasn’t shown up on my card. He alluded to the managers as the holdup. I am still waiting for my deposit and am guessing it will have to be resolved by my credit card company as their selling practices are very deceptive.

Was looking to sell my 2024 Subaru to get out of my payments. Got a quote from a local Ford dealer for $18K, Carvana $19,400, and Driveway.com for 20,400.
I was extremely skeptical of selling my car online to Driveway.com as I've never head of them before and am very cautious. I can honestly say that I'm very impressed with their reliability and efficiency in the process start to finish. I went online on a Saturday afternoon. Gave me an online quote. Uploaded a real time photo walk around of my vehicle. Did an electronic docusign on Monday. Got UPS delivery to my porch on Tuesday with DMV required wet signature and returned the documents by UPS in the prepaid postage envelope back to Driveway. On Wednesday, Driveway confirmed they received my signed DMV documents and told me they would schedule a local Lithia Dealer to pick up my car an Friday. And Sure enough its Friday and the car was picked up from my driveway and I had a RTP real time payment into my bank account within 1 minute of shaking the driver's hand. Amazing!!!!
I usually never do reviews, but if this helps put any super cautious people more at ease... then its worth my time to leave this review. Job we'll done to all who work for Driveway.com

They are easy to get in contact with prior to getting a car. Afterwards when questions about registration & other things come up there is ZERO communication. I’ve tried to get information about my registration and every person I talk to had no clue. I get nothing but your new plates should arrive soon. Called at 1pm on 1/23 asking for a supervisor, the supervisor would not take my call. Driveway DO BETTER!

I dealt with several people during the entire process, Cedrick was the initial contact. Matthew confirmed paperwork was on the way. Christiana followed up regarding the paperwork and provided very helpful information and instructions regarding filling all the documents out and mailing them back. Tyler finalized the entire deal. All the people involved provided top notch customer service. Tyler was fantastic. He explained the entire process on how to drop the vehicle off and get paid. He even provided an uber to drop me off at home after my car had been dropped off. I had a few questions along the way and Tyler was able to get back to me quickly. Overall, the process was super smooth and quick! Start to finish (initial estimate to car dropped off and direct deposit in my account), the entire process only took 11 days! I have never sold a car before and Driveway made it super simple and quick, and provided the best offer. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone looking to sell their car. If I am ever in a situation where I need to sell another car, I will certainly be choosing Driveway!!

Taking much longer than expected- nice processing online and all but if you need your car like yesterday going in person spending the whole day to leave with your vehicle might be a better option. I’m now having to rent another car spend more money for a job I need to travel to while waiting for the car I purchased online. Very nice people to help they respond quickly which of a plus, good company u just have to be very patient I ordered on the 14th of April it’s the 24th and I’m most waiting on the confirmation when my car will need on its way.
