When my son’s drone crashed and we learned his extended warranty had expired unknowingly 3 months prior I felt sick! I found Drone Nerds online and was a little nervous to ship such an expensive item across the country in fear of if they were legitimate and would actually be able to help. We knew we had a broken arm, gimbal and possibly much more. Right away I got the most professional, thorough and detailed email from Yamel. I was shocked at how they sent pictures of every aspect of my son’s drone, including but not limited to every serial number, angle of the drone and damage, case etc. Yamel continued to walk me through a detailed explanation of the assessed damage, itemized cost for each repair and the option to waive any or all repairs and just have all sent back for the $69 diagnostic. I authorized all repairs. A few days later, I got an update from Yamel indicating that, in spite of all repairs, the drone was not passing comprehensive testing on several of their diagnostics platforms indicating the motherboard may in fact be bad. So impressive they test it to that degree prior to return shipping!! He noted that unfortunately DJI does not offer motherboards after market but that he would be happy to reach out to them with regards to shipping out my drone for further diagnostics and repair by DJI. Of course, my first concern was for a money pit cascade given fear I would be adding costs to the time, parts, testing Drone Nerds had already invested into my sons drone already. I was shocked when Yamel shared that, since they couldn’t ultimately fix it as they had thought, they would wave all fees and just charge the diagnostic fee and then I could decide, based on DJI’s evaluation, if I wanted DJI to fix it for any additional cost once they could evaluate it and quite their cost . I asked Yamel what he recommended and he shared he would recommend getting DJI involved and send the drone to DJI as sometimes they simply replace the drone at a fraction of the cost with a brand new drone. He said their cost would only apply if I authorized it once DJI ran a diagnostic. Drone Nerds again took care of EVERYTHING and coordinated it all with DJI!! Yamel continued to reach out with updates as things shipped and progressed. Yamel later reached out that DJI had confirmed the motherboard was bad. Amazingly, the cost to replace the board plus the drone nerds diagnostic was less than half what I had agreed to pay initially to Drone Nerds for the other needed repairs which shocked me!! Drone Nerds had spent tons of time in diagnosing, fixing with new parts all the broken parts, testing, retesting, rediagnising AND then sending to DJI, communicating with me and coordinating all!! Two days ago Yamel reached out again and indicated he had good news in that DJI had sent a brand new drone out to them and they were awaiting my case, controller and other accessories so they could package the unopened brand new drone with them and send them back to me!! Today I received notice from Yamel it all shipped. Out the door charge for all was still half of what I agreed to for the initial known broken parts—drone nerds charge on $69 since they missed the other board malfunction initially. How they could have even tested the motherboard with the pile of broken parts I sent, I will never know. All in all, customer service like I received from Drone Nerds is simply unheard of!! I am simply blown away and so incredibly thankful! I feel like I should owe them so much more than what they charged me and I can’t recommend them highly enough!! Thank you Yamel and all involved for your excellent help!! My son has muscular dystrophy and his drone brings him into the world in ways one can only imagine. Your above and beyond service, help and even advocacy to DJI is worth SO MUCH MORE than you charged and I will tell everyone I know to support you with any such needs!!

Bought a Parrot ANAFI AI and it looked used when I received the drone. Told customer service and never acknowledged that the drone was new or used. I had to purchase an iPad to pair with the controller and it is also used to update the drone. The drone never finished downloading the firmware and never flew due to that issue. Drone nerds sent the drone back to Parrot which confirmed the issue of a bad board. I have been ghosted by Drone Nerds l, even after spending close to 10K at their site. No news on honoring their warranty or refund or even replacement of the defective drone sold by Drone Nerds. Going on 2 years of silence and they will not resolve this issue.
Fanstatic! They sell refurbished Drones, but I don't see anything used about this product. It was as brand new as all of the other new drones I purchased in the past, but just at a better price. Thanks soooooooooo much. Just remember to ask to ship it to a FedEx location if you won't be home to sign for it.
I fly for a living and my drone needed immediate repairs. I figured the repair would take a very long time but it didn't. Alex contacted me and explained I also needed additional parts and that he would do his best to have it ready for me. In 72 hrs I had the drone back and flying again.

I had an excellent experience with Drone Nerds' repair service for my DJI Matrice 600. My drone had a critical issue where the landing gear would retract while on the ground, causing it to fall flat and damage both arms where the antennas are mounted, as well as one of the antennas itself.

Love these guys. I have taken my DJI Mavic there once for calibration and updating of flysafe data and then 3 weeks later when I crashed and needed emergency repair. These guys are super friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and honest. I’m so grateful they’re on my area. Highly recommend !!

Order my dji neo in October 24 at 9:12pm and today is mar 26, 2025. And my order still back to order. I could cancel it but i wanna see how much long they will make me wait. And when i order it they told me it take days or even a month to back to order. What a joke. For my first time to order with them.... i will not recommend it.
Update: i ask for refund i received it. Is not that you people take alot of time to sent it.byt communication is key people.
