This is the worst company in the world..

Just for address verification, they were supposed to call and come. No call ever came from du to confirm address verification so they. Cut off mine and all my employees phone lines and internet. Like just in the middle of the day ! And my office called du blasted them, they send somebody for address verification, the guy says all numbers will be reactivated and that was 4 hours ago, none of the numbers are working and it’s been almost 10-12 hours since deactivation ! This is indeed the worst company in the world. I made a big mistake migrating from Etisalat, let my contract get over I will shift all my companies back to Etisalat !

I went to their office last week…

I went to their office last week because I had decided to close my postpaid plan completely. Unfortunately, upon talking to their customer service he told me it will take until next week to close the plan, but I insisted that I will not have spare time to come again to request as I was also busy at work. Like what’s the difference?
I told him again that I want to close it immediately, so he made a request and told me that someone would be calling me to confirm.
They were able to call me but I did not notice because I was very busy at work.
I went back again today Monday 8/12/2025 to follow up, and guess what? They let me pay for two bills amounting to 420 AED, and I finally get to realize the strategy of delaying my request to bill me extra money. How frustrating it is knowing I have opened the plan for more than a year believing it comes with a mobile the time they offered me, I let it pass. Secondly, they continue the plan without my consent after the contract date, Third they are charging extra even though I always underconsume the data, calls, and whatever is included in the plan.

Worst internet service and worst…

Worst internet service and worst customer support you can possibly buy — wifi.

We bought a home internet connection from this operator. It worked for only a few hours and then completely stopped. After that, the nightmare with customer support started.

Support keeps transferring you from one department to another with no solution at all. I spent an entire day being put on hold and passed around between different teams, nonstop. In the end, they simply told me either to cancel the service or come in to change the device.

When I tried to cancel, they said cancellation can only be done by phone. I stayed on the line for more than one hour and forty minutes, only to then be told that I actually need to call another customer service number.

It’s very clear that all of this is done on purpose — to exhaust customers so they give up on canceling and keep paying monthly bills for a service that doesn’t even work.

Completely unacceptable, extremely unprofessional, and absolutely not worth your money.
Avoid this operator at all costs.

Appalling Customer Service at Du Outlet in Ibn Batutta mall

I am on a visit visa to UAE and i got a notification that I was supposed to resubmit my documents. I went to the one at IBN Batuta mall on 2nd December,2025. They gave me a slip and asked me to wait. After what seemed like an eternity, i was called and told that i need to submit a hard copy and i had to get it from the printer near Carrefour. I asked if he would wait and if i could leave my bag. He said no. While i went and got the print out, he had already given my seat to the someone else and got me another slip. This happened at counter number 2. Then i waited and Counter 3 called me and later said i called you by mistake and he took my previous slip and gave me another one. Then again after waiting for half an hour , counter 1 called for my number and said that he called me by mistake and i will have to wait. While i got agitated, he said i did it by mistake whereas what happened was counter 1 and 2 were entertaining their friends who i saw were interacting as if they knew each other. People who came after me were getting their issues resolved, even without a slip. It was very bad customer service and it looked like they were forced to work. Team Du, there are many people who are in this country and are willing to work whole heartedly. Please get people who are interested or respect the jobs that they have. I am very very disappointed. I was at the outlet from 4:40 to 6:10 pm and then i could no longer take it and i walked off. How is that you need hard copy? why does scan not work? it worked while i got the sim for the first time, not during resubmission? you really need to look into this matter.

Have been with Du for over year and it…

Have been with Du for over year and it is definitely a year too long. They do not care about customers. Customer service is abysmal. My WiFi simply does not work. Paying the highest amount for the gaming bundle and the highest speed I receive is 45mbps (on a good day) and other days then it completely drops. I have rang over 15 times and have been promised that a technician will come and check but have NEVER contacted me about coming. Will be leaving the company IMMEDIATELY. Please if you have any common sense, do not do business with DU. Customer service, sales and every part of the company are completely heartless and are happy to receive money for services that they are not providing in the slightest.

I recently purchased a prepaid SIM card for my daughter, and I was very disappointed with the service. The staff informed me that they had no details available about the prepaid call and data options on their system, and advised me to “be up to date” and use the application instead.

This is unacceptable. As a customer, I should be able to receive complete and clear information directly in the store, without being forced to download an app. Not everyone wants — or needs — to use an application just to access basic details that should be readily available at the point of sale.

A telecom provider should always be able to explain its own prepaid plans and services, especially when selling a new SIM card. I truly hope Du will improve its customer service and ensure better transparency and accessibility for all customers.

Big SCAMMERS behind a BIG NAME!

Their agents only care about earning their commissions, pushing customers into situations where they end up paying way more than expected. I called their helpline for three days straight to cancel my contract, and every single time the agent disconnected the call the moment I said, “Yes, please proceed with cancellation.”

The company has policies that force you to pay even when you genuinely want to cancel and are willing to pay the early termination penalty. Completely unethical and unfair practice.

DU is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Activation takes seconds, but cancellation is a nightmare. I’ve been calling for three days, holding for hours, and no one ever answers. Now I’m moving out and can’t cancel without DU’s approval, and I’m completely stuck. I’m beyond angry and frustrated. Don’t ever go with DU, they make leaving impossible. and worst part is only way to cancel is by calling , not through app or their centers how bad can you be.

Avoid at any cost, total rip off!
* They mis old DU home product and locked us into a 2 year agreement
* If you try to call them - GOOD LUCK! If you press "new customer" on the key option , you get through to someone immediately. However, as an existing customer its nearly impossible to speak to anyone as the queue is never ending.
* When you visit their branch to complain and get the current plan changed, you are told to call customer service. Even they suggested to dial in as a "new" customer to get your call answered.

If you want any level of customer service-do not use DU. Their phone contact and app just lead you on a merry go round. Impossible to speak to an agent or receive any contact number. My WiFi is down which means travelling to a store now to make a complaint. B

One of the worst internet company ever

If you’re thinking of using this internet company, save yourself the headache. Their agents will promise you “special discounts” and “exclusive deals,” but the moment you sign up, they vanish like they never existed. There is zero follow-up, zero support, and zero accountability.

Even worse, after you’ve already taken a new plan because they insisted, they keep spamming you with calls offering “new deals” like they have no idea who you are. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. It feels like a circus of lies, confusion, and unprofessionalism.

This company needs to fix its staff training, stop misleading customers, and learn what the word service actually means. Right now, it’s just a mess.

The worst and the most expensive mobile phone and home internet provider in the world I came across. everything is between 3x to 5X more expensive than in the UK!!!! Such a worst company, Dont taje DU connection.

Such a worst, night mare all the words that represents frustration and manipulation suits them. Worst company in the entire UAE. There are scammers. They will mislead and missold you to achieve their sales target by using the fear tactics - claiming your bill would double next month unless you switch to a new contract, promising they would handle the cancellation of the old plan. All lies. Everything is a lie, they will give u a new connection w/o cancelling the old one and u will realize this only after couple of months to find out around 1000 AED is piled up in the old connection and they will deny everything they said earlier and cannot waive off the overlapping charges which in the first place has happened because they cheated us with wrong information. It will takes ages to connect to their cancellation team and u will end up saying your story to minimum 100 customer service agents and still no solution. In my experience, this is one of the most frustrating and unreliable companies I’ve ever dealt with in the UAE. They are not getting new customers so they are extracting all the money of the existing innocent customers. Guys, be aware, towards the last couple of months your contract will expire, you will receive 1000s of calls from du sales agents trying to cheat you as i mentioned before. I happened to find out that i am not the first person to get cheated like this, they are trapping so many people like this. please be careful. Switch to Etisalat. They are the best.
