It's so terrible
It's so terrible! The worst customer service ever - if you make it through the AI chat and get a person, which then is a similarly frustrating experience as AI. And if you want to place and RECEIVE phone calls abroad, you have to sign up for a 15-day package at AED 350 - no alternatives. Of course, the package then doesn't work, takes one week to resolve, but package still expires after the remaining 1 week. No, cannot extend.

The worst service and the worst customer service service I ve ever had, for a company that is as bad as this on every aspect I am not sure how is it still standing, their service is so bad that they take your money in very twisted ways, and it is almost impossible to reach an agent, and when you reach one they are so rude and unprofessional.

I dealt with DU customer care agent Razzaq, and the experience was extremely disappointing. He was rude, unprofessional, and unable to communicate properly, showing a complete lack of courtesy or competence. Such behavior is unacceptable for a customer service representative, and urgent corrective action is needed.

No internet for 3 days, they can’t fint a solution. I am paying for a subscription and it’s not working

No Internet for 3 days, cannot get through to an advisor unless I state that I want to upgrade. The technical fault is not showing on the app, each time I call I have to explain again. The technical support team phoned at 9.30 pm to resolve the issue over the phone which they have already tried using the automated system. A technician simply needs to visit in person to replace the router!

The Worst Company I’ve Ever Dealt With – Avoid DU at All Costs
I have never been treated this badly by any company.
I’ve worked in the corporate world for over 10 years, mostly in sales, so I know exactly how good customer service should look — but this was pure manipulation and deception.
From the start, I was constantly upsold by different DU salespeople, even after clearly saying I don’t watch TV and didn’t want a TV package. They kept trying to push “faster” bundles that included things I never asked for. As a result, I now somehow have three DU accounts, even though I only needed one.
When I moved houses, it was impossible to transfer or cancel my old contract. Nobody picks up the phone, and when you go to the store, they tell you to call customer service — which just sends you back to the store. A complete nightmare.
Later, when I moved to The Valley, I actually wanted to get Etisalat, because all my neighbors said it’s faster and more reliable. But I was approached by a so-called Etisalat salesperson who turned out to be working for DU. Her name is Arauma, and she completely misled and mistreated me. She convinced me to choose DU again, promising it would be faster — which turned out to be completely false. The internet was slow and unstable.
After one week, I told her I wanted to cancel. She said it was fine if I did it within two weeks. But then she ignored me for several days — and when she finally replied, she said it was “too late” and I now had to pay cancellation fees.
Now I’m stuck with two active DU accounts on one home — which shouldn’t even be possible!
I feel scammed, deceived, and completely powerless. DU’s customer service is unreachable, their salespeople lie just to close deals, and the entire process is built to trap customers instead of helping them.
DU is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.
My advice: never, ever take a DU subscription.
You’ll save yourself a lot of frustration, time, and money.

I never ever saw such a bad service, they sell me a iPhone 17 pro, I have the confirmation and invoice, but no iPhone.
I sent them so many email’s, till now no answer no feedback where the hell is my iPhone.

du has the most useless and frustrating service I’ve ever experienced. I have two prepaid plans and one postpaid (home wireless), and everything is a disaster! The home wireless internet doesn’t work every night from 9 PM until midnight — and no matter how many times I call (literally hundreds!), no one fixes anything.
To make things worse, when I tried to cancel one of my prepaid plans, they automatically deactivated my number completely! Now they say they can’t reactivate it unless I drive 50 km to a branch. What kind of service is that?! They can’t fix anything over the phone, they don’t care about customers, and of course — no refund, no solution, nothing!

Dear DU Customer Service,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received during the process of transferring my Wi-Fi connection to a new address.but the same building.
Despite making several calls to the call center, I got different instructions each time i called to call center, causing unnecessary confusion and delays. Eventually, I followed the advised procedure and submitted a "Move Home" request through the DU app. It has now been over 4 days, and the connection is still not active.technician visited our new home but was unable to complete the installation, stating that someone else would need to come to finish the work. We are still waiting, with no updates or clear timeline. This has caused a major disruption in our daily lives, as we are unable to communicate with family, friends, or complete our work due to the lack of internet.
The call center service has also been very disappointing — no proper follow-up, no accountability, and repeated false promises that someone will come “today,” which never happens. My husband had to take time off from work for this, and we are still left waiting.
I am very disappointed with this experience and, based on it, I cannot recommend DU to others. I hope you take this complaint seriously and take immediate action to resolve the issue.Thank you for your attention and I look forward to a prompt resolution. And make sure that it will not happened to anyone after me 🙏
