Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people expressed dissatisfaction with the perceived fairness of the website, particularly regarding the advertised Return to Player (RTP) rates for slots and other games, which they felt did not align with their experience and resulted in significant losses. Customers frequently reported that the games, especially slots and blackjack, appeared to be unfair, leading to a consistently negative playing experience where funds were quickly depleted. Some also noted issues with betting limits being drastically reduced for profitable players, and a lack of responsible gambling tools like deposit limits. However, some customers also mentioned positive aspects, such as fast sign-up processes and quick, hassle-free withdrawals, with some even reporting substantial winnings. A few people found the website's interface to be decent and fast, and appreciated the transparency in reporting player wins and losses. Additionally, some users highlighted the quality of the sports betting odds and the overall positive experience with customer service.

dont play slots on this site.

dont play slots on this site.

i bought bonus buys for 150 times on Sweet Bonanza 1000, Xmas sweet bonanza, and i lost $18k with $200 bet amount through this week.

There was only 7 bonuses paid out more than the bet amount, 1.1x, 1.1x 1.2x, 2x, 2x, 3x, 3x, that's it.

throughout the week, RTP remained at around 40%.

The RTP information has been removed from the in-game manual and is now hidden. you can check this to enter any Pragmatic slot on Duel.com.

they just use High-Volatility as an excuse to hide the lowered RTP.............................

This is simply untrue.

RTP information is on full display within slots for the providers that offer it, which includes Pragmatic, and is included on Sweet Bonanza 1000 & Sweet Bonanza Xmas. Press the "i" icon and then click the green arrow 3 times, it's in the same place it's always been.

3rd party slots like the ones you mentioned aren't from Duel, they come directly from the slots providers themselves. The only difference between them on Duel and any other site is that Duel requests the highest RTP versions of those slots from the providers & also pays 50% of the house edge in instant rakeback.

Duel has no way to control a 3rd party integration and any outcomes come from the slot provider directly, not from Duel.

When you make the decision to gamble on a 3rd party slot, you should know that it's the least favorable form of gambling (for any player) available on Duel due to the higher house edge. Gambling on house games that have 100% RTP gives you much better chances in the long term. But even in those games, you are still gambling and there is no guarantee of winning.

If you need help finding the RTP on a slot where the provider displays it, just reach out to Duel's 24/7 support team and they'll be happy to help. https://duel.com/#help

Win rates can depend on what settings you're playing, if you're trying to hit a 1000000x multiplier then your chances of winning are a lot lower than on a 50/50 bet. Without knowing your account name or the context, I can't check the situation you're referring to, but in any game there's always a chance to go on a losing or winning streak.

When you gamble, you're never guaranteed to win, even on 100% RTP you can still lose multiple bets in a row or win multiple bets in a row, which is why martingale betting is not the legitimate 'free money' strategy that many people think it is, otherwise everyone would be using it.

All of the original games on Duel are provably fair, you can use the PF data from your bet and run it here or in any 3rd party site to prove to yourself that all bets you place on Duel are 100% fair. https://duel.com/fairness

If you need any help with that feel free to ask Duel's support team and they'll run you through it. https://duel.com/#help

SCAM

I created an account today.
In the middle of it, I was suddenly logged out and couldn’t log back in.
Support told me it had been hacked and that I was basically out of luck.

I checked my data on various websites, and my password was never mentioned. There are passwords associated with my username, but none of them are correct.

I stand by my opinion – this site is a scam – the account could just as easily have been taken over by the support team – just change the password and say it was hacked, haha.

I took a look at your support ticket and it was explained to you that you used a username and password combination that you used previously on other sites that had been involved in data breaches from those sites, I can see your username has leaked details - go check it out for yourself: https://breachdirectory.org/

Duel offers security features such as 2FA which you chose not to enable on your account, if you had 2FA enabled, or had used secure details to sign up, this wouldn't have been possible.

The funds were tipped to another account and then instantly withdrawn from the site, the other account involved was banned. This was also covered in your support ticket but there's nothing anyone can do to reverse a crypto withdrawal that was already sent on the blockchain.

All of this was done before you opened a support ticket. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

Goated Support / System

They helped on the support with something I couldnt figured it out by myself, they are literally goated af, I wouldnt play anywhere else. the support is not CTRL C CTRL V, legit answers by legit people. The site is instant cashout and the rakeback is the most rewarding. 10000/10 I reccommend it, much better than anything else.

All of the current slots on Duel come from 3rd party providers, Duel has no control over them other than requesting the highest RTP variant of each slot from the slot provider. Duel also gives 50% of the house edge back to the user in instantly claimable rakeback.

When you make the decision to gamble, you're doing so knowing that losing is a risk you take. Winning is never guaranteed.

Gambling on Duel Originals allows you to prove the results are 100% fair and eliminates the "house always wins" aspect of gambling. But you are still gambling, and can still lose. You can prove that the Originals are fair yourself, you don't need to trust Duel.

You were likely given a welfare ban if you were making it clear that you're not enjoying gambling anymore or that you've lost more than you can afford to, you would have been able to withdraw any funds that remained on your account with no issues but would not have been able to continue gambling on your account.

Blackjack is the same on Duel as it is on most other reputable large online casinos. With the difference being Duel pays the house edge back to the users in rakeback, making it 0% house edge.

With blackjack there is a skill aspect, meaning if you're not playing perfect blackjack you'll naturally be losing slightly more than that, which is where the referral amount on Duel's house blackjack comes from and why it's possible to have referral commission paid on a 0% house edge game.

Duel's house games are all provably fair, you can check that using the page here https://duel.com/fairness or any 3rd party site that you like. Meaning if you did lose 10 hands in a row (which is possible) it was all fair.

Rotten Deception. Extreme Greed.

It's common knowledge that house (casino) always wins. To make mask this and games a bit more enjoyable, provability was adopted by most online casinos. Whether or not it's true, it was there to provide a more enjoyable experience for degens.

Then, you have Duel.com
These guys have no shame. They're probably scammers from India who pivoted from the industry because things were getting hot.

100% RTP is completely false. Let's put it this way. I've had better luck by tenfold at their competitions with RTP in the low 90s.

Oh, also no bonuses. The narrative they give is that in order to deliver 100% RTP, bonuses must be sacrificed.. for the greater good! It was so audacious, I couldnt help but burst into laughed. That narrative extends to their customer support.

They'll try their very damn best to maintain the 100% RTP narrative by spoonfeeding probability theories and basically BS to deflect and redirect your complaint.

Ive never personally sought legal consulting, but I cant sit around for this degree if manipulation and dishonesty. Let's see how they deal with mass arbitration.

Provably fair systems weren't introduced to 'mask' anything - quite the opposite, they were introduced to publicly show the code used to calculate the bet results so that you could prove your results are fair. https://duel.com/fairness

Your claims show how much knowledge you have on the topic. The owner of Duel is publicly doxed and has been for a long time. Your personal experience of losing more on Duel than on other sites does not mean that the 100% RTP is false. When gambling, you aren't always guaranteed to win, even on 100% RTP games it simply means that there's no house edge so the house doesn't "always win" as you said.
If you want to massively simplify it, look at it like flipping a coin, you can still lose or win more when picking heads or tails, you won't always be exactly even because the odds are 50/50.

Re bonuses, that's simple - they're a predatory marketing tactic used by casinos to hook players in and keep them gambling on their sites. On average, playing on a casino with a higher house edge and bonuses will lose you more than playing on a lower house edge with no bonuses. https://duel.com/about/why-bonuses-suck

The reason Duel maintains "the 100% RTP narrative" is because it's true.

Given how many bad actors there are in the gambling space, it's a good idea to not immediately trust everything you see.
Duel doesn't ask you to blindly trust that the games are fair and RTP is as advertised. Every line of code involved in generating your result is fully public, and can be audited by anyone.

I know that the code alone can be difficult to understand, which is why we've also added documents that explain exactly how the system works, along with instructions to help you verify any results using third party sites. You can find the documents here: https://help.duel.com/en/collections/18464073-provably-fair-scrolls
There is no trust involved.

Stating that Duel rigs and scams because of advertising makes no sense, Duel was the sponsor of Misfits before the Tate brothers took over, but even if that wasn't the case your bias towards influencers doesn't affect the fact that all of Duel's house games are 100% provably fair, no need to take my word for it, go prove it for yourself - https://duel.com/fairness

You can use Duel's system or any 3rd party you like. If you need help with that, feel free to ask Duel's on-site support team. https://duel.com/#help

SCAM WEBSITE - Account banned and funds frozen

I am extremely disappointed and feel robbed by Duel.com. This was my first time creating an account on the site. Right after making my initial deposit, I noticed that my betting limit was set to a ridiculous $0.10 per bet, despite me never having placed a single wager.

When I realized I wouldn't be able to use the site properly, I tried to withdraw my balance, but the system blocked me. I contacted support, and they simply told me that my account had been banned, refusing to provide any explanation or a way to get my money back.

They are holding my money hostage for no reason. This is a complete scam. Stay away from this site if you value your money!

You can read much the same in some of Duel's other negative reviews and our responses to them - gambling is not a guaranteed way to make money.

Going to a casino with the expectation that you'll win money defeats the point of gambling, you could win for sure, but you can also lose. If you do end up losing, it doesn't then mean that whatever casino you lost on is a scam or rigged.

Duel's blackjack is 0% house edge and provably fair, meaning it's an equal playing field between you and the house, there's no house edge to guarantee that 'the house always wins' like almost every other site has - you can prove that the games are all fair using the provably fair system, or any 3rd party site if you'd prefer: https://duel.com/fairness

You should only ever gamble for fun and only with money you can afford to lose. If you win, great, but don't expect to win every time you gamble. If you ever need a break or if you want help with anything I mentioned above, reach out to Duel's support team: https://duel.com/#help

Gambling isn't a guaranteed way to make money, you shouldn't treat it as such.
Duel's originals are all provably fair, and the source code is fully public so you won't need to take our word for the fairness, you're free to review the code and let us know if you spot any issues - or reach out to support if you'd like a more in-depth explanation on how everything works.

Slots are the same on Duel as you'd find elsewhere. Casinos don't have a slider to tweak RTP values, the only possible difference between sites is which RTP variant they use. Duel - like most other large casinos - use the highest RTP's available. (this can be confirmed in the rules of each slot)

Losing money as a result of gambling doesn't mean a site is rigged.

I can see you're leaving multiple 1 star reviews on the page. That won't change the fact that Duel doesn't scam anyone, all of the house games, including blackjack, are provably fair using the fairness system https://duel.com/fairness - if you don't trust the fairness tool on Duel, you can use any 3rd party one to verify the exact same thing.

Not only that, but it's not just your bets you can check, as long as the other person has rotated their seed, you can check any bet made on the site is fair because they're all publicly available.

If you need help with understanding or running through those checks, reach out to Duel's onsite support who will help you https://duel.com/#help

Having said all that, even on a 0% house edge game, you are still gambling and it's very possible to go on large losing or winning streaks. 100% RTP simply means that there's no house edge, and that you're playing on a completely even playing field where you're not paying just to play the game. Again, Duel's support team will be happy to discuss this in depth with you.
