Failed to Deliver
For a fourth time, I have waited home all day for your drivers to fail in their delivery service. As an added extra to the substandard service previously received, today there was zero communication. I have been awake since 6:30am today incase the drivers had prioritised the delivery knowing it's been delayed since April and here I am in July at 6pm with no contact from the drivers with any ETA and no contact from DUO to assist with my concerns. There have been only vague responses when I've rang to ask for timing and a call handler unable to answer service level questions and clearly unconfident in managing complaints. The service you have provided is disgraceful and I recommend anyone looking to partner with a delivery company takes a look at the number of other 1 star reviews listed as they consider who best represents their brand.

I ordered a phone from Duo Direct
Several weeks later they told me they could not fulfil the order as it (their last item of stock) had been damaged in transit.
They offered a refund, but seven weeks later I still dont have the refund. I've lost count of the times I've chased them by email and on "live chat" but have yet to get a response.

Went to order another in early September ,for my 83 year old mother in a carehome , the order just stayed at "pending " I asked the chat team what was happening , U can only communicate via making a "Ticket " chat have no answers more then say u will get a email soon !?
I asked "Paypal why was order not processing as the funds where there ? they said that Duo where not taking the money
I reordered 2 more phones thinking there was a glitch ,

to sort my order , I have had to cancel the orders and now go else where , the reason I stuck with them was there excellent prices
My poor mother has been stressed worrying whats happening with money / phone as the phone she on is on its last legs
I hope that Duo Direct reads this and treat there customers better

I order phone it was works fine and everything was OK until I try to send phone for warranty repair. I send phone and I'm waiting therd month with no answer. Terrible.

Terrible and very stressful experience with this company. I ordered some headphones and on their website they say: “We only take payment once your order is being dispatched.” However, they took the money from my account (I confirmed this with my bank) whilst my order was still at the ‘Pending’ stage. I had to make numerous ‘chats’ (you can’t contact them directly, you can only chat or send tickets) and they kept saying that their Finance Department would get back to me. That never happened. I had to keep sending them messages. Finally I contacted my bank and got them to investigate. Miraculously, Duo Direct then replied and blamed DHL saying the courier had damaged my parcel. Which is pretty remarkable since the order hadn’t left ‘Pending’ status. I think their excuse was so that they could argue they didn’t take my money before the order was dispatched. I’m sure DHL would be delighted to know that Duo Direct are blaming them. Oh and Duo then said they were out of stock. I did get a refund and compensation of £10 and they said ‘Eventhough [sic] this was not our fault’. Maybe they thought that would resolve the issue for me. It hasn’t. I think they’re dodgy and really don’t recommend them. I recommend people do more digging about the company (also known as Avana Group)…plenty of free info available and Trading Standards and Companies House are useful organisations for this. Oh and I imagine Duo Direct might try and ‘hide’ my honest review with some fake ones – but DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Recently ordered the Canon G7x Mark i. Really simple process and easy to use website. Also got in touch with customer service shortly after ordering as I wanted an ETA for the product. They were extremely friendly and helpful, with a fast response.

I received the camera a few days after ordering the camera, the service is excellent, I’m not the brightest when it comes to using cameras but this is simple and adding it to a device is great for keeping your pictures safe. The quality of the pictures is great and the zoom fantastic, overall I’d rate it 9.7/10

I was very skeptical in making my purchase as the headphones I bought were £239 and I hadn't heard of this company before. The headphones arrived in 3 days and I reached out to the live chat team to see where my order was and they were very helpful. I see other people have had issues with this site but from my experience I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Having never heard of this company I was worried to spend a lot of money with them buying a new Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II Digital Camera for use on my last holiday. Being as time between placing order and the holiday was short was another worry. I need not have fretted, camera arrived really quickly, was well packed and exactly as described.
I did contact their support people just to check when it would be despatched, received a prompt reply with an answer.
Item was the the lowest price I could find, despite this the service and support could not have been better, will not hesitate to use again or to recommend to friends and family.
A great online shopping experience.

Update on 27 July:
- DELIVERY WENT TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION/POSTCODE.
UPS delivered the parcel to the wrong postcode: SE26
my postcode is BR3
Why did this mistake happen? Probably because I've submitted to seller 'Duo Direct' not entirely correct address:
X# Kent House ROAD (not fully right)
where I live on
X# Kent House LANE
so everything in my address was correct except LANE.
This, however, does not excuse the parcel being delivered by UPS to completely wrong postcode.
I recognize this is not a Duo Direct error, but where their customer service failed me big time so far is here:
- TRACKING NUMBER NOT SENT TO CUSTOMER ON TIME.
Where Duo Direct failed was in NOT Sending me a Tracking Number.
What made it even worse they were blaming UPS for this.
The fact is that UPS can send the Tracking number via their system ONLY if the seller inputs my email into the UPS system or seller can also send it via email to the customer.
There was no problem with the UPS web/system on the day shipping was created.
18 July (Thursday) shipping label created.
19 July Package sent.
According to UPS, Seller receives Tracking number instantly, and it's up to Seller - Duo Direct to send it to their customer.
25 July (Thursday) week later, I've received a tracking number from Duo Direct upon my request. As I was simply trying to figure out where my package is.
If I had had a Tracking Number prior delivery, I would have been able to act and most probably retrieve my parcel on the day of delivery, but since I was not aware of delivery at all, I couldn't do anything to solve this.

I've ordered a Sony headphones 7 days ago. Website promise is 2-3 days delivery. I've sent them a message via their chat asking about my order. Two days ago they replied that they'll check. Now I'm still waiting for an answer about where is my order and when it's going to be dispatched.
I chose this company because they are in London and I'm too as I was hoping to get my headphones delivered fast.
They have no phone to be able to call. Maybe I should go and check personally their London address to see how legit or what their set up really is. I'm not impressed.
I've requested a refund on 25 July 2019. I will be updating this Review with the progress, so people can know the reality of what to expect.

Free shipping and import tax was all included in the price I paid on their website. Headphones were brand new and factory sealed. I'll definitely use them again. Might check back when the galaxy note 10 arrives. 😁
The worst, sketchiest and slowest service I have ever experienced.
Ordered extremely expensive headphones. Accidentily put wrong delivery address as in Shetland for 3 months. Requested address change within 10 mins of order. "Ticket" was created. "We will be in touch via email to confirm soon". No email 2 days later, so they haven't even been dispatched at all, never mind any confirmation about delivery change. Website states all orders are processed within 10 minutes. This is 2 days later. Tried to talk to the robot "chat with us" 4 times and told I will get an email update each time. Why can you not check for me now and tell me now? The email address on the website is also no longer in use and I had to be re-directed to completely different business with different website in order to send a message yet again about my complaint, in which, yet again, a "ticket" was created for me. Stay well away unless you're planning on getting anything within 2 weeks. Never had to complain about a service before. Should have bought from anywhere else. There isn't even a phone contact number!!!
