The dvd I ordered from Dvdrare/rareworld took ages to arrive. When it did, it was clearly a piroted dvd - it wasn't in a proper dvd case, just a CD case, the insert cover was just printed on normal computer paper, or photocopied, the insert cover and dvd label did not match. And when I played it, it had just been recorded from a tv show. Not at all happy, as I would never purchase a piroted dvd, and for what I paid for it, I definitely expected the real thing. The company should be honest about what they are actually selling.

DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM A COMPANY CALLED "RAREWORLD MEDIA, LLC." We ordered a copy of the Muppets & John Denver (a Christmas dvd) in December. We still have yet to receive it. After a month, I filed a grievance with the BBB in Florida, and the company's manager refused to either send another copy OR refund my money. Her reason: "The customer will get the DVD. If she receives it after we've refunded her money, then we're out money & dvd." REALLY??? The BBB even asked for proof of having sent the DVD. None supplied to either the BBB or us. I figure if we haven't received a DVD by now (and only through out this complaint did I learn that the DVD was to come from England...which then produced a whole batch of excuses (Covid, mail strike in England, delivery strike, etc.). Funny to me, I've ordered other items that came from both England and Ireland and have received THOSE. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP-OFF.

I, too, didn't notice that the site wasn't secure until I'd already entered my credit card info. Duh! However, alas, I really wanted the DVD I was ordering and went ahead placing my order, even springing for tracking for $20 more. Yipes! Then they told me it was coming from the UK when I got my shipping e-mail and tracking #, except as time went on, Royal Mail kept saying they had no knowledge of that tracking #, nor did USPS, so I finally filed a dispute with my CC company, which is in progress as of this writing. I should have researched the company prior to ordering. Stupid, stupid me.

Ok, so I would never buy from this website but I feel like I need to warn people not to use it. First of all, if you go to the site on Chrome and look beside the url, there will be an exclamation point informing you that the site isn't verified or safe so avoid putting any personal information in. The site isn't verified because they are selling pirated copies of shows and therefore it is illegal. It probably isn't them that are trying to charge your credit cards afterwards. I'm assuming because the connection isn't secure, hackers have targeted the site and are able to see your card details when you're putting them in. Please just avoid using this site altogether. It is not safe or legal.

I received the product order today. I must say that I am shocked at this product. The video quality is absolutely awful and production is terrible. The only thing I can say is that it looks like someone recorded these episodes off their TV via and old VHS recorder, converted to DVD on their laptop and printed DVD labels and packaging on a home printer. The video is poor quality, dull, and blurry. There are even end/beginning of local television commercials at the commercial breaks. Where did they get these episodes? Clearly FOX studios did NOT professionally produce/release this DVD set. There must be copyright infringement laws being violated. The menu shows air dates in 2005, but the Models Inc show aired back in 1992/1993. I realize this show would be considered "rare" but the way this was sold was under false pretenses seems fraudulent "DVD set is new and factory sealed."

I ordered the Beverly Hillbillies and Empty Nest from this site and I'm totally happy with it.

Yes, they do use TV recordings - but this is all that's available.
The quality is good for how old and rare some of these shows are.
Plus they use quality menus and boxes.

Shipping isn't the fastest - 12 days to me (I live in New Zealand). But other than that - it's a great service.
Would buy again.

I ordered TJMD complete boxed set and recieved it, however about 2 episodes on each disk work, trying for a month now to get a hold of them and aren't getting any where. Can't find an address or phone number for them.

Paid almost $150.00 for a set of DVD's that I have been waiting al.ost 4 weeks to receive. Tracked my package through the post office and found that the shipping label is incomplete and the post office can't help me get it. It is just going around in circles and will probably never get to me. THEY SCREWED UL THE LABEL and I will probably lose my money as they have
stopped communicating with me when I asked for my money back. RIP OFFS AND LIARS!!!!!!

I was wary of ordering from this company because of some of the very bad reviews it received. The criticisms levelled at them may well be true but I can only report on my experience. I have been trying to get DVD's on The Practice for quite a while and this site was the only place offering them in full. The price was very reasonable, even if not originals, and I considered it worth a punt. I would say that I would have appreciated a confirmation email of my order, but that aside everything else was good. The disks arrived in Australia in good time, postage free, which was not cheap, and well packaged. The disks themselves were very nicely presented, well labelled, and the audio and video is of good quality for the years that this programme aired. So for myself I can only say that I am very happy and was very pleasantly surprised.

Honestly I've read a lot of bad reviews about this site and its my first time buying anything. I ordered the roc series, its bootlegged from tv but honestly the quality is great and I'm happy as hell ill deff order something again

Don't buy from these people. Poor quality rip offs of original material.

If I could give them less than one, I would. DO NOT ORDER from these people (Rareworld Media)!!! I ordered a dvd of a tv series, and it was simply taped off the original (20 years ago) and transferred to dvd. The quality was worse than the old black and white tv shows.

It cost me over $100 AUD to order 1 box set (which is fine - I was thrilled to find it at all). Fast forward 5 weeks and it hasn’t arrived. I’ve sent 3 emails with no response whatsoever. They’ve taken the money from my account - but no dvds. I’m so incredibly disappointed!

I have ordered and received several DVDs from this company, mainly "made for TV" Christmas movies that haven't made it to DVD.
Since these movies are being recorded from a VHS or BetaMax source, the video quality is not "Top Notch".
The DVDs are, in my opinion are very watchable and enjoyable.
I have NOT regretted any of my purchases. I have just ordered another from them and looking forward to viewing it.
The key thing for the consumer to be aware,is that these DVDs recording source will NOT be a digital source and the end product will reflect that.
If you are looking for a show or movie that has not made it DVD yet or ever, this DvDRare is your source.

Bought a couple of box sets for my dad's birthday from this company (some of his old favorite tv shows from the 70s).
He was very happy with them and delivery was pretty quick.

The only reason I give 4 stars is because they don't offer free shipping.
But other than that, I'd gladly buy something from them again.

I bought 3 rare TV shows from this company, and 2 were faulty. One had glitches and jumps in the picture and sound. The other had several patches and one complete episode that were totally silent. Three times I have asked for a refund/return, and I have had no answer at all.
The small print on the website says any legal action must go through Hong Kong courts - a wonderful way to put anyone off trying! What a waste of money this purchase was.

The dvds I have received from dvdrare are extremely poor quality, cannot be watched due to constant interference, severe distortion and extremely poor sound quality. The dvds themselves provide evidence they were recorded on video from UKGOLD and the attempt to transfer them to dvds was not successful.
There are many purchasers who have experienced the same.
Dvdrare have breached there own company policy by selling extremely poor quality, unwatchable dvds. This is also in breach of Consumer Rights and Statutory Rights.
Requests from customers to return items for full refunds are wilfully ignored. They will not disclose their address. They are based in Hong Kong and associated with Rareworld Media.

Got a DVD Box Set of My Wife and Kids from this company and I'm suuuuper happy with it - great quality and nicely presented.

One downside, delivery took 6 days. bleh (I'm based in the UK, so I guess it was cos of international shipping).

Would happily shop there again.
