The charger stopped working within 3 months.
After 2 moths of a contact with unresponsive and unhelpful customer service still no replacement or refund.
I contacted Dyson Customer Service in June 2025 regarding a replacement for a broken part (the main vacuum head), which is covered under the guarantee. At that time, I was informed the part was out of stock and that I would be notified when it became available.
As of October 11, 2025, I have reached out multiple times, but I am still waiting for the replacement, even though the part is listed as available on Dyson’s website. The responses I have received have been generic stating the part is out of stock, and there does not appear to be a process to escalate the issue.
This situation has been frustrating, as the vacuum is less than a year old and cannot be used properly without the replacement part. After-sales support is a critical part of any brand experience, and delays like this are disappointing for a premium brand such as Dyson.
I contacted Dyson through their WhatsApp to order a replacement part as my 2 yr v12 slim vacuum motor broke. First they had system issues and could not do anything. Contacted them few days later and placed the order, paid 125chf for replacement part and 3 weeks later nothing. Contacted them 2 more times to follow up, they said I will get an email. This is my 3rd Dyson vacuum and last one. Terrible service.
I had a very disappointing experience with Dyson Switzerland. I returned a product on 30 July using the Dyson-provided return label (Order Nr. 1862347272, Return Nr. 1862350010). Since then, Dyson has refused to trace the parcel, even though it was sent with their own label.
Customer service has been extremely unhelpful and at times outright rude — during one call, the representative even yelled at me and accused me of lying, instead of investigating the issue on their side. This is unacceptable behavior for any customer-facing team.
After more than a month, no refund has been issued and no effort has been made to resolve the situation. Very poor customer service compared to other companies.
They are completely unhelpful. I called about a broken product, but instead of helping, they treated me like I was stupid. Instead of buying a Dyson and dealing with customer service, buy another brand, they are much more helpful. At least you won't be disgraced with your money.
Very poor customer service. Their English is incomprehensible, and they keep going around in circles, repeatedly saying they are unable to assist with basic questions (such as when my order will be shipped or what they can actually help me with). They told me their team would contact me within 5–7 days regarding the shipment of my product, which I assumed would arrive by then.
Completely unhelpful. They were unable to provide any assistance — and when I asked for an email address to contact someone directly, they disconnected the chat.
I am extremely unhappy. I have placed two orders and am so frustrated that I now want to cancel both due to such terrible customer service. I still have not received any information regarding my orders.
Very poor customer service. I called to get reimboursed for something they sent me but didn't solve the problem. After more that 1.5 months I still didn't get my money back. I call customer service and the waiting time starts at a quoted 5 minutes, after more than 5 minutes on the phone it increases to 10 and after 12 minutes it gets quoted at 20 minutes!!! A joke! Unbelievable! It seems like thy do it on purpose to discourage clients to contact them! Shameful.
I have been a Dyson customer for many years, purchasing almost every product they have launched – from the cordless models starting with the V6' up to the V15, the Dyson Ball, various fans, and multiple hair stylers. I have always valued the quality and innovation of their devices, and never hesitated to choose Dyson again.
Unfortunately, my last experiences with Dyson Switzerland’s customer service have been extremely disappointing.
1. Dyson Airwrap
I experienced two separate faults with the power button, which caused the entire device to fail. On both occasions, it was repaired and returned to me. However, the third time it happened – just one month after the warranty expired – I was told I had to purchase a replacement for CHF 145. Given that the fault was identical to the two previous cases, I believe the device should have been replaced free of charge or at least handled more fairly. This was not the level of care I expected from Dyson.
2. Dyson Purifier Humidify + Cool™ Formaldehyde
After just 18 months, the unit began emitting a strong, unpleasant smell, almost like fish. I followed every maintenance instruction to the letter, including filter changes and deep cleaning. The issue persisted. Customer service informed me that the cause appears to be a non-replaceable internal filter – meaning the CHF 900 product I bought is now useless.
3. Dyson V15
Almost a month ago, I reported an issue with the bin on my Dyson V15, which was only 12 months old. Since then, Dyson Switzerland has placed the replacement order four times – each time under a different order number – and I still have not received it. I have been told various stories: that it was shipped, that it was cancelled, that it wasn’t in stock, and then asked if I wanted to “reorder” it yet again. This level of inefficiency is unacceptable for an CHF 800 product.
It is a real shame that a company like Dyson – once known for quality and innovation – is now failing in one of the most important areas: after-sales service. Customer loyalty is built on how problems are handled, and unfortunately, I have not felt supported or valued as a long-standing customer.
I truly hope someone at Dyson Switzerland reads this and helps me resolve my issue. 1 1
Very poor experience with their customer service. Nobody answering to the phone and the whatsapp application is going in a loop and when you finally manage to speak with a human - from India, they can;t help without creating an account.
I owned Dyson Airwrap model HS05 and used it carefully for just 9 months. Suddenly, it burned out in my hands during styling — a dangerous and unacceptable failure for a premium device.
I sent it for repair as instructed. Dyson confirmed it could not be fixed and promised a full replacement. Then… nothing.
First, they cancelled the order without notice. Then, after I contacted them again, they promised a different replacement. The order status changed to “picked” — and has been stuck like that for weeks.
Customer service keeps sending generic copy-paste replies, telling me to “just wait.” No timeline, no tracking, no update. They don’t respond properly. They keep my device, but I get nothing in return.
This feels like a scam: Dyson collects faulty devices and disappears behind automated messages. No real support, no resolution, no accountability. I honestly regret buying this product — and will never trust this brand again.
Avoid.
I’m very disappointed with the service I’ve received from Dyson. I sent my hair wrap for repair, and it has now been 16 days with no update or proactive communication from Dyson.
I’ve had to chase them myself — every time I call, I’m told that my case is being “escalated” but nothing actually happens. There is no follow-up, no clear timeline, and no one has contacted me directly to explain the delay or when I can expect my product back.
This is unacceptable for a premium brand. I trusted Dyson’s reputation for good products and good service, but this experience has been very poor. I hope Dyson sees this and improves both their repair turnaround times and customer communication — and that they resolve my case soon
I’m really disappointed with my experience using the Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool. It’s an expensive product that failed twice — the first time within warranty (it was replaced), and the second time just after the warranty ended. I sent it in for repair, only to be told it’s beyond fixing. On top of that, I had to pay an extra fee due to a return address issue.
This was a big letdown. A premium product should be reliable and repairable — not disposable.
Terrible customer service experience, Dyson Purifier still not repaired.
I’ve been trying to send my Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde in for repair due to a loud noise it’s making. After more than seven separate attempts with customer support, I’ve still been unable to get the shipping label or schedule a pickup. No one has ever shown up to collect the product, and I’ve never received any confirmation by email or otherwise.
Phone support staff are polite, but the chat support is extremely frustrating. If I don’t respond within two minutes, they close the chat without warning, and there’s no follow-up via email, meaning I have to start over each time. It’s a waste of time and incredibly inefficient.
I’ve confirmed multiple times (via both phone and chat) that my email address is correct. I’ve even tried different emails to rule out any error on my side, but I still don’t receive anything from Dyson. Although they offer WhatsApp support, they refuse to send the label through it and insist on email only, even when email clearly isn’t working.
At this point, I’m stuck with a faulty product that I cannot send in for repair, and Dyson has offered no real solution. It’s been a deeply disappointing and incompetent customer service experience.
I bought a purifier + humidifier at the end of January 2025 for the first time I’ve used the humidifier in 28th April it wasn’t working , I contacted the costumer support they ordered me a new water pump and didn’t even tell me it wasn’t on stock after 10 days they told me it was not available and they would replace my device (may,
13, 2025, until today I haven’t received any updates and when I call they tell me there was a mistake and stuff and never sent me a device, I’ve been told in the calls that they lie to clients about the 3-4 days and that device is defective and there is nothing they can do to solve my problem , and now they have my device. Don’t give me any updates, I had to spend 60 fr on a new fan because of the heat and they tell me nothing , they don’t want to solve the cases all they do is make you wait, by lying about he 3-4 days I’ve been on 60 + days until today and I have nothing not a new not even my one device . They have the worst costumer service don’t buy Dyson products ever again they are all defectives and the customer service is a lie, they lie to you , avoid the WhatsApp, they lie to you , even through phone the people who work there tells us how bad is the costumer service , and there is nothing they can do about it only ask us to wait. Please avoid Dyson products for your own mental health.

Today is july 19 and still today the have not resolved my case and every time I contact I get the typical “3-4days” or the “48hrs”, which are lies , guys avoid the WhatsApp chat and avoid Dyson for your own mental health. Almost 3 months since my device stopped working and I contacted and still nothing. Dyson should not be allowed in Switzerland they have 0 standards, 0 quality and 0 customer care and support.
By far the worst shopping experience I’ve had in a long time they promise 3 to 5 working days for shipping time passed and we’re now over a week and a half without any communication as to when it will be delivered.
Upon reaching their customer service, they promise to look into it, but nothing happens. Empty words.
With it now soon nearing two weeks, I tried to cancel the order, but they won’t let me as it’s “being picked”. That status has remained for the last five days.
This is a joke of a customer service, which is a shame because the products are great.
I would highly recommend not purchasing through their website and instead going through a third-party seller.

Approximately a month later, they still haven’t sent the order and they refuse cancellation and will not provide any delivery timeline. The product is still listed with 3-5 days of delivery time. Customer service asks for patience which ended many weeks ago at this time.
Where do I start. Purchased an expensive 'Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde PH04' in October 2024. By March 2025 the water pump had already stopped working, as many other customers have reported (this is clearly a common defect with the device). Having waited 3 weeks for a replacement pump after contacting them through WhatsApp, because apparently no replacement pumps were in stock, I called customer service who instead arranged for me to have a replacement device delivered (although these were also out of stock but should be back in stock sooner, according to the agent). I then received an e-mail from them on 31 March that the machine was back in stock, then I took steps to return my device to them.........which they confirmed they received on 11 April.
Since then......nothing. No new device, no contact. I contact them almost every week via WhatsApp and keep getting told the same thing. Another department is handling the case and I have to wait for them to get in touch with me. But, they NEVER DO. After 2 months of waiting I still don't have a replacement device. I called them again this morning and the agent simply couldn't help me......he told me the same thing.....another department is handling it and all he is able to do is send a message to them. No escalation path, no accountability, no resolution. He sounded as frustrated as I am that there's nothing he can do. Sorry.......for a company like Dyson, this isn't acceptable.

EDIT: I've now received a new device. Updated to 3 stars accordingly: +1 for eventually fulfilling the request, +1 for sending an upgraded device at no extra cost. I believe my review logged directly with the Dyson Community triggered some internal escalations on their side, if that's help to anyone experiencing similar issues with them. They've a long way to go though before I'd consider them any better than 3*, because I know if I hadn't complained I'd still be here waiting.
Dyson has a problem with the humidifiers water pumps, they know it, and they don't want to do anything about it. (I've seen so much online but didn't believe it) I don't use the humidifier much, I've used it maybe 3 or 4 times in the last two years, so when it broke, I was very surprised. But hey, they are off the hook, it has past the two years, so they offer to send replacement (which you pay) and they never send. It's been over a month and when you call, the rude customer service lady (Laura/Switzerland) says she has no idea why the last person said it will take 3 or 4 days, and has no idea when they can get a replacement part for which they should pay, and even though you have paid, doesn't seem to come. From the super expensive stuff that breaks, to now rude and non helping customer service, I think I'm about done with Dyson. You pay the extra cost for having a product that works, or that is fixed at least but Dyson is going to the bin of those kind of brands now I guess. Shame.
Just go with other brands.
Premium products that break every 12 months, require you to wait many business days to have a replacement and additionally force you to bring 2-meter packages in person to the closest pickup points instead of organizing pickups themselves. Plus replacement parts are never available and the devices start making random noises during the night therefore waking you up. If you plan to reply "contact customer support" I already did (Support case 44964296) and I got confirmation that this is the only option they have available. Don't think I will ever be a customer again and won't recommend this Brand to anyone.
