I have run the website for a neighbour group over two years and found the Voice Online service to be outstanding. It's easy to manage even for a website newbie and, when I've had a question, it's answered quickly.
such an amazing service
I have constructed 2 sites (one for a swimming club and the other for a local town festival) using the wonderful service offered by e-voice. Recent changes had resulted in a couple of bugs and the attention to these and the speed they were rectified is exemplary.
I can't recommend them enough.
Great product
I currently manage a website for our local allotment society via Voice online. Excellent service for charities and community groups. Bit of a learning curve but once you get it the whole experience is great

I am the administrator for our website but have locked myself out of e-voice.org.uk and can’t access the forum. and voice admin don’t respond. If Joe or anyone reading this can help, would be much appreciated.
Recommended!
We used the e-voice platform to create a private web space accessible only to members of our society. It has the features we require of it. For example, a discussion forum for members to ask questions, and share knowledge and ideas. The permissions system allows different levels of access to contents and materials.
Membership of the site is granted by me as an administrator but access is managed by the platform. This means that, after being granted access, society members can login to the site and use it without my involvement. The e-voice platform therefore makes the members' area easily manageable.
The system is a little 'clunky' at times so it takes a short while to get used to it but, once you do, it is easy to use. If you need help, there is both documentation and a helpful support group. Support from the systems organiser is great as well. For example, site administrators can attend regular online meetings to raise questions and discuss features. One remarkable feature is the test site. This replicates your site, away from the genuine, live site, enabling you to try out new layouts, navigation and designs - all without touching (or damaging!) the real site.
If you are part of a small community or voluntary organisation and looking to build a website, I strongly recommend the platform. It's a great alternative to the (mainly U.S.) commercial offerings. I spent a lot of time looking for a free or low-cost website builder, before finding e-voice. I'm very glad I did - my guess is that you will be too.
great resource
just works great, so useful for our community and surrounding area
Great platform for community Groups
Have set up 4 websites on this platform and about to do my 5th. Really easy to use. Reliable. Have contacted the helpdesk a couple of times over the years and they have been very helpful and quick to respond. 100% recommend.

These guys are great for small/local organisations that have little web skills. The platform is really simple or as complex as you want. We use it for 2 local community websites and it both saves us money and makes it very easy to keep the parish up to date.. Can't and wont fault the team!

This is an excellent platform for community groups and it has evolved over time too. E-voice also have a very helpful team when support is needed. Keep up the good work!
All the functionality we need plus great support
We initially set up a basic website for our horticultural society but have been able to develop it with the aid of the comprehensive documentation and the regular zoom user meetings which are an invaluable source of information and ideas. Joe does an excellent job providing support and explaining options to people who may, like us, not have a technical background. There is also a very helpful user forum and a test site.
Our website is now a very useful source of information on all our activities and has helped us reach a wider audience of potential members and exhibitors as well as members.
A web-site platform that meets the needs of the Community.
I started managing a website for a community choir in Southwest London when I joined it in 2018. I had just retired and a very small part of my professional career involved a very basic understanding of web design publishing. To this end finding myself managing a website that had both a public and a members access areas a little daunting. Once I got familiar with the way it operated, I found that it was really easy to use, it met our needs and the support given was very good.
I have no hesitation in reiterating that the platform is extremely easy to use and has served the Choir well. For practical purposes the platform, if required, differentiates between the public facing part of the website and a private area for members’ only access. We use the latter for messaging members and providing sound files / words to our members.
Within the last couple of years all administrators who use the system have had access to a test or “sandpit” site that mirrors their live site. This allows them to play around with ideas and to try out new concepts without compromising their live site; absolutely brilliant.
Documentation is well written and easy to comprehend. There is a thriving online forum for administrators who can post queries that are either dealt with by the e-voice team or other administrators who may know the answer. There are regular Zoom meetings for all administrators. This has two uses; it allows the e-voice team to demo enhancements to the system and, secondly, administrators can use the online meeting to raise queries.
I have no difficulty in awarding 5 stars for this product (more if it were possible). And recommending its use to any small community group/organisation, voluntary group, charity & etc., that needs a web-platform.
Great site, and FREE
I have used e-voice for over a year to host ctat.org.uk and I find it difficult to find any fault. I have not often needed any support but Joe has always responded quickly to any issue.
Definitely can recommend it!
Speedy help when needed
Joe always responds quickly and helpfully when we need it.
Excellent
Excellent, clear help given to sort a problem with reordering pages on the website.
Everything you need in a community web hosting system
I have used other free web hosting service and have struggled with downtime, poor or no documentation and complete lack of support. Using e-voice is completely different. The web generation is simple and bespoke. There are regular training sessions where you can request resolution of individual problems. There is extensive documentation and test sites to demonstrate how things work. There are online support forums which receive prompt replies. This is everything I need in a community web hosting system.

Website development for local News.
Website development for local news services.
I have found this a vital service over the past 15 years in providing a general private News website for Elstead and for specialised websites supporting particular campaigns such as Speed Watch and the development of our Neighourhood Plan.
The development of a site is relatively easy using the tools provided and involves no heavy coding. The sites can be maintained by anybody with permission to do so.
Very useful web system and quick support
We're a small health think tank which has been using VOICE for a number of years (and a previous local mental health charity I was a Trustee of also used VOICE).
We like the capacity of VOICE websites and the choice of different styles (themes) - and Joe is very helpful if we have problems (even if we've caused the problems ourselves)
