7 days in July 2020. We absolutely loved the trip, the Ford zerofire had tons of space and the break was just what we needed during Covid.
Booking again for 2021, the kids (9&4) cannot wait.
Easicampers are a really easy company to deal with, even when I had a question one night at 8pm, they were happy to help. Top notch 👍

Second to none!
From arriving to the Blackburn branch, collecting the beautiful Zefiro 675 and dropping off was an absolute breeze!
As a key worker being able to use a motor home for work was just amazing especially on such short notice! Everything was easy to use and was super comfy too. Our motor home had the facilities to shower, cook and wash the pots and also had heating which was definitely needed! Thank you Easicampers for helping us out and we can’t wait for our hire again over summer!

I hired a VW California for a much anticipated trip to the Outer Hebrides, and I can't rate Easicampers in Wigan highly enough. Right from the very start this friendly Wigan based company helped us choose the right vehicle for us, and made the whole booking process a dream knowing that we had the right van for the job, and just as importantly the right level of equipment and cover to go with it. I was very pleasantly surprised to know that there is unlimited mileage, certainly when travelling within the UK ( possibly abroad too, but I only know about where we went !). When we collected the van it was immaculate, and we had one of the best holiday ever in it - also safe in the knowledge that the team were on hand if we needed any technical assistance whilst we were away. If you've ever thought about going away in a camper, this is a brilliant way to do it, and a fab company to do it with.

I have hired various vehicles ranging from Motor Homes, Volkswagen Californian and cars on several occasions from this Wigan based company. The service and staff have always been excellent. Particularly Lisa and Mike ... the owner Nick runs a fabulous business. On one occasion, when I had to return a vehicle early due to a bereavement the company ( Lisa ) called and asked why I had returned it. On telling them they immediately credited my account, without me asking. I cannot praise them enough for their service and integrity.

Booked in Aug '20 in the hope to get away from Covid. Our plans changed a couple of times but the team at the main office were really helpful and accommodating. We picked the van up from Edinburgh, and the team there, although understandably busy, were again really helpful, taking us through how the van works and making sure we were happy with everything before we set off.
The camper itself was wonderful - clean and everything worked well.
The drop off was just as painless as the pickup.
Overall a brilliant experience and we'd definitely book again.

This was the third time using this company having used them once in Blackburn and twice in Edinburgh. The last trip was a rather long one involving two ferries and a long journey to Siena in Italy.

I would particularly like to mention Ted who was instrumental in ensuring we had everything we need before we set off.

This was also accompanied by an excellent demonstration of all the features in the motorhome i.e. how to use the gas the heaters the showers where all the bedding was.

The trip went smoothly and I would not hesitate to use Easicampers again - thanks

We hired from the Wigan branch twice now and both times we had great experiences with the vehicle a 6 berth motorhome and also the staff.
They filled the water tanks showed us how the heating worked and that you can switch it from electric use to gas use.
We had a small issue with one of the bulbs going in the lower bunk but its one of those things they werent to know that it was going to go on me whilst in the mountains of Scotland it didnt spoil out holiday.
Would use these guys over and over again.

I've rented twice from Easicampers this year, in September and December. I've just read the other reviews and am shocked we're talking about the same company. I'm generally suspicious of hire companies and feel they'll try to get any money they can out of you. I've found dealing with all the staff a breeze (thanks Lisa, Barry and Mike). I'd say the only issues we faced were the inventory not completely matching what's on the van (we didn't have wheel chocks or a whistling kettle - check before you set off) but with that aside everything was perfect and I'd have no hesitation recommending them.

Disappointed with the Customer Service. We hired a van in August, but we had issues with the van and the water heater, which were never resolved. Despite my attempts to contact the company and get some answers, there was nothing forthcoming, despite promises made to me on the phone that I would get a call.
We did have a bump (there was never an issue about taking responsibility for that) but we were never given a proper breakdown of the quote and the repair costs - the company just took the money from our Credit Card. Again, my attempts to get some details were unsuccessful - having got our money, unsurprisingly we never heard from them.
We were told we would be offered a couple of nights due to the issues we had had and we were promised a discount on a future rental and again, once we left the yard, we never heard another word.

Picked up vehicle from Blackburn ready for next day 5am start to do NC500.
In the morning during darkness we noticed rear light out as well as all number plate lights. As it was a Saturday no mechanic was available so after being sent to kwikfit who diagnosed an electrical issue we were sent to Wigan for a replacement. Why the vehicle was not checked to be road legal before hiring out , is anyone's guess, just lucky we spotted it before Police spotted us!
On arrival at Wigan a vehicle which had been parked up for end of season was wheeled out, obviously with no preparation.
So off we set oblivious to the faults
1. Main door did not lock as had been forced with a screwdriver.
2. Locks did not work on storage areas.
3. Grill for oven did not work.
4. Indicators full of water - god knows how they still worked
5. As others have said hosepipe with no connectors
6.Grey water mechanism not functional so we were discharging grey water at every use much to the annoyance of the sites.

We could go on but if old , unmaintained , unsafe vehicles is what you are after , then this is the company for you. Personally , look elsewhere it could save money and possibly your life!

Hired a camper for school holidays in Edinburgh. Great service and camper was clean and had everything we needed. Took it up to the Isle of Skye and had a great time with my daughter. Would recommend Them to anyone who is looking to get away for a staycation.

Overall a disappointing experience. On pick up we weren't happy with the standard of cleaning, especially given the current circumstances with regard to Covid 19. Although the motor home looked clean, I discovered a discarded sweet wrapper and some cotton wool on a bedside shelf and felt it necessary to clean and sanitise the van myself before setting off on our holiday.

The motorhome provided was not the one we had booked and whilst we understand that this is sometimes necessary due to technical problems no explanation was volunteered until we queried the situation. The motorhome provided seemed to have been poorly maintained. The oven developed a fault and one of the hobs didn't work. We contacted Easicampers and although they offered to pay for repair or for a small microwave, neither of these options were feasible as we were staying in a remote area.

Other issues included: a broken blind; a hose with no fitting to allow connection to the water supply; a sharp screw protruding in the washroom - discovered when I cut myself on it.

We raised the issues we experienced with Easicampers on our return and did receive an apology but didn't feel the level of inconvenience experienced was adequately acknowledged. Hopefully the issues we have raised have all been addressed and future customers will have a better experience than we did.

Having read the other reviews I had some reservations about booking with Easicampers. However, I have nothing negative to say about our experience.

We had regular contact from before the booking to let us know what was expected in terms of collection. After collection we had a few questions in terms of how things worked and we were always able to get an answer easily and quickly.

Would 100% recommend Easicampers and don’t believe the negative feedback.

Great service throughout, the guys were thorough with the campervan orientation using the controls, water and heating which stood out most for me. I had an incident on a previous trip and we lost our full tank of water and were left without water for days. But every detail was covered and and I drove off confident knowing I understood the controls and how everything worked.

Campervan was immaculate inside and out. The toilet even had air freshener in the toilets, I've hired a few vans over the years, and these guys really stand out. Any questions throughout our trip were answered swiftly, pricenwise, these guys were most competitively priced fornthe same van.

Warm welcome upon arrival, we also decided last minute to bring along our youngest child fornthentrip, so we required a babybseat, extra seating etc, all the extras were added complimentary with a big smile.

Can't recommend this company highly enough. They go that extra mile to make sure you have everything prepared for journey.

The service and Campervan of this Company was brilliant experience. Barry a member of staff was very helpful and explained clearly all that was needed to know- as it was our first time using such a vehicle.
Will recommend the service to our friends and shall use them again for future trips. Thank you to all staff. YYew

The campervan itself was nice and exactly what we were hoping for, likewise the amazing Scottish countryside.

Unfortunately our experience with easicampers was not all positive. Upon reaching our first campsite we could not unlock the fresh water cap and called the customer support to find out why. We were told we needed to use a second key which we were never given (and had photo evidence to back that up). Easicampers were frankly incredibly rude and unhelpful, accusing us of losing the key and hanging up the phone on multiple occasions.

It should be noted that in the end the stopper could be forced out without use of a key (going against what we were rudely told on the phone that they could not have filled the van without a key), hence we were able to enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Upon returning the van the key was still brought up as being an issue until we showed them the water could be opened without a key at which point we received no apology whatsoever and they acted as if there was no problem. I suspect because deep down they knew there was no key all along and were merely covering their own tracks.

Would I recommend easicampers? Regrettably, no! We had a good trip but no thanks to easicampers poor customer service and terrible communication from start to finish.

Collection didn’t go according to plan, however once sorted with a trip to Wigan it was simple. Barry explained all aspects of the van, paperwork sorted quickly and off we set for 5 days touring. Definitely will rent again soon. Good work guys.

It should be obvious on the website that you are paying full price for a provisional booking. This was not front and centre when booking, but was made obvious in the confirmation email. Nearly £2.5k down, I was phoned the next day to say the campervan was not available and a refund would be processed. I then had to chase the refund with a phonecall 5 days after my payment. Nick was very helpful and prompt in chasing it after this, and I understand that there are issues with staff being furloughed with Covid. Nick's polite and prompt action is the only reason it is 2 stars instead of 1. The refund was processed the next day (day 6 after payment) and I understand it will take up to 3 days to appear in my account (I will monitor this). I would strongly suggest that the process is changed and that a deposit is taken of 5 or 10% rather than full payment. The provisional nature of the booking should also be made more obvious on the website. I am sure if the vehicle had been available, we would have had an excellent experience. However, the only reason we can still go on holiday is because I was able to extend my credit card limit with immediate effect and book a vehicle with an alternative company. I am very lucky in this respect and many people would not have been. If we had lost out on our family holiday due to this practice, I would have been fuming, rather than a bit peeved...
