A new approach which was in-depth and rewarding

I was unsure how group work would help because of the preoccupation with my own loss and also dubious about whether a structured programme would be too contrived in terms of having a set time to confront my loss rather than it just being a fluid response naturally.

The structure of the programme actually helped everyone to have space to reflect, share and listen. There was a much broader look on the challenges experienced throughout life and the many different losses, disappointment, and personal traumas that sit in layers underneath the obvious bereavement. This helped to recognise our own proven resilience. It helped sooth the different struggles in our existence and realise the hardships we had all faced individually over our own lives.

Edu therapy was helpful with feeling held and supported. We had a specific focus and reflection each week. Very quickly we formed strong connections with each other which have continued beyond attending the programme and opened up new opportunities socially. We have a deep held respect and understanding for each other which feels very unique. Our losses may have bound us together but equally don’t define us and we enjoy our catch ups and have many laughs and support each other on our darker days. Tracy Beavis was an amazing Edu Therapist who supported us through the 8 week programme. She was professional and demonstrated sensitivity and integrity which created a safe environment for our most vulnerable moments. I feel so very privileged to have had this opportunity. It has helped me to continue to nudge forward and not feel stuck in the past but live with all my different losses and all that they represent, to have self compassion and an appreciation of love that I have been fortunate to experience.

Great training for anyone looking to help others with loss

I run a social enterprise helping people with loss, and wanted a programme I could offer as a grief professional to individuals and groups online and in person. This course was perfect, and something I now use in private practice, too. Carole is an absolute expert in her field, and the course also helped me with my personal losses. It was tranformational and had a huge impact on me personally. Highly recommend, whether you're new to the field of grief and you're looking to help others, or you've got other qualifications, such as counselling. The difference I've seen it make to my clients is hugely rewarding, it's like I've set them free from a lifetime of pain.

Revolutionary Grief Training

I personally followed the Edu-Therapy program as part of the 4day training I undertook with Carole and WOW.
To say this was life changing is not an understatement .
Running a grief support group means I wanted to understand more about my own grief inorder to help others with theirs and that’s exactly what the program did.
I have to tools to navigate my emotional pain now and In the future and the knowledge to deliver the program to others as a certified Edu-Therapist.

I can not thank Carole enough for her training , support and expertise.

Emotional healing

The Edu-Therapy process meant that I needed to be really honest with myself about how I was feeling. I realised that my happiness and the direction I want to take in my life lies ahead of me, not behind me; and that I'm responsible for it.

This course is fantastic

This course is fantastic. Really interactive, really emotional but extremely beneficial. Really good program that teaches you how to use tools in order to help manage your grief and work towards emotional resolution.

I didn’t have to be strong.

I wanted to find a programme that would give me the guidance and structure I wanted to help me move forward from my loss. I wanted to be able to find what the emotions were that I really felt and had been suppressing for so long. Edu-Therapy did that and so much more. From that first phone call I felt heard. I felt that I mattered. Of course some parts of the programme were tough, I had to be honest about my grief but with the support and the guidance I received I never felt alone. I felt safe.
Edu-Therapy really has helped me get my life back and has shown me that you can be happy again.
