Disorganised; wouldn't use again

This was my first experience ordering directly from Edward Bulmer and never again. My interior designer uses their products and like them; maybe trade clients get a different experience. As a retail customer placing a top-up order, it has not been good at all. I ordered two cans of paint; one was delivered in the wrong colour. I don't know why they don't check their orders. The replacement was delivered but the collection of the incorrect tin hadn't been booked. So now they're trying to ask me to wait in again while their mistake is collected.

I am so pleased with the paint I…

I am so pleased with the paint I ordered from Edward Bulmer. Beautiful colour. Easy to apply and the minimum odor. My husband is soooo sensitive to paint smell and freak out every time when we paint a room, but this paint really gave us peace of mind as the odor was minimum and didn't last long. So pleased with this paint and look forward to decorating more with this brand paint without fear of headache caused by paint odor

Paint thick and inconsistent

Edward Bulmer paint has been a very tricky product to work with. Etheral Blue emulsion very thick, dried very quickly on application and inconsistent on the wall. I ended up having to buy twice as much to finish project. AND the really crippling cost part was paying x 2 decorators an extra 2 days labour because it needed 4 coats for a nice finish!!!! We ended up watering it down which worked quite well. Edward Bulmer customer service appreciated the feedback but were not that bothered …or probably surprised!! APC delivery were also rubbish as per the below review. On a positive end note the eggshell for the woodwork was a lovely product and we hardly used any!

Over charged, then ignored

We were over charged for our paint because a discount code didn't apply. We reached out to them multiple times but they're ignoring us. Awful service.

Paint has not arrived

Paint has not arrived despite paying for fast delivery again! The excuse from APC is always that we were not at home and then they don't redeliver for days. On previous occasions the paint is not delivered at all and we have to change couriers. We have used this paint for a couple of years now and each time the paint does not arrive on time with the same problem each time.

Update on this order. It was delivered the following day but the incorrect paint was in the box - pretty sloppy service and very off putting for future projects.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Paid for next day delivery on Sunday. Emailed yesterday to check when it was arriving. Got a fairly vague response. Now 10pm on Tuesday and my paint still hasn’t arrived. I’ve sent two further emails this evening, but no response as yet.

Update - Wednesday morning I had to call them, as they had still not responded to my emails. I’m told there was a problem with the courier yesterday. But they didn’t contact me yesterday to tell me. They still can’t tell me when my paint will arrive, and they’re not prioritising it in any way. It is only 5 miles from my house. When I suggested they got someone to bring it on the tube, or a different courier service to bring it, the lady on the phone reacted with horror. There is no sense that they feel sorry for letting me down, or that they are going to do anything to sort this out quickly. They are due to contact me when they know which “slot” I have today. No idea if they’ll bother…
