$1 report turned into 16 monthly $24.99 charges
I paid $1.00 on 11 July 2025 for a single report. I did not knowingly agree to a recurring subscription, and I was not aware of any billing or renewal reminders.
I was then charged $24.99 a month, 16 times, totalling $399.84. I cancelled on 12 October 2026 and received two $24.99 refunds. $349.86 remains disputed. eFAQ reviewed the case at a senior level on 31 October 2026 and declined further refunds.
Please check your bank statements carefully after any $1 offer, and read the renewal terms before paying.
