Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 94 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the platform's ability to provide information that can lead to self-discovery and meaningful connections, with some finding the process of meeting compatible partners to evolve naturally. Reviewers often describe the website as clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, even for newcomers, and many are impressed with the thoughtful and aligned matches provided. The service is frequently seen as professional, offering an extensive questionnaire that helps in understanding personalities and connecting with honest individuals. However, some people were dissatisfied with the subscription costs, describing them as high and feeling that charges were unclear. There are also concerns about the low number of active members and profiles lacking pictures or detailed information, which can make finding suitable matches challenging. Additionally, some users reported difficulties with the user experience, such as conversations not appearing in the correct section or issues with accidental deletions of contacts.

Excellent profile management. Payments only debited to my account monthly; eg. Match took a 2 year payment all as once, I felt like I was being robbed.

I wanted to join and sent 3 emails re membership questions without reply.Sadly eharmony help section that stated they will reply within 24 hrs us a lie. Think they just care about making money. In addition to few , presumably crooks, been blocked while waiting patiently for their so-called customer service to respond. Had deleted my pictures & profile and sure hope my pictures will truly be deleted. Not a trusted company!:(

The administrational work E-Harmony…

The administrational work E-Harmony continues to endeavor in. What I mean is that there is no more of a deceptive crooked place than that on line and then on top of that when it comes to the matters of the heart like it does with a dating ap. So the onslaught of fake accounts will continue to always come, and using the highest methods of weeding these out, as far as I can tell, E-Harmony administration is very studious in.

Eharmony is a cash grab!

Eharmony does not actually care about their customers, they are more concerned with lining their pockets with your money. Their formula is to prey on the hopes of hopeful singles and then rope them into a lengthy and expensive contract. Subscriptions can not be bought on a per month or trial basis. You must purchase a 6, 12 or 24 month subscription to their website. Upon signing up, you are automatically enrolled into their automated subscription renewal service. This will automatically bill your credit card upon the completion of your initial subscription, without your authorization! You can not cancel your subscription at any time, and Eharmony has a zero refunds policy hidden in their fine print! You would think that a company that claims to have an interest in your personal happiness, would in fact allow you to cancel your subscription, if you do in fact happen to meet a match and find happiness on their website. Why pay hundreds of dollars for a dating/messaging website when you can join somewhere else for free??? Eharmony is a cash grab!

Safety first and foremost.

I have tried different date sites, but eHarmony is the one that I feel more comfortable with.
They have blocked, any suspicious activity, very quickly, therefore building a sense of trust and confidence.
I have had the opportunity to meet, with quite a few people and have scored some interesting friendships.
I would highly recommend this site, with no doubt in my mind.

Safety as a female & poor customer satisfaction

Safety issues in my opinion.

I used this platform many years ago and liked it. However, I tried it again in 2024. As a female, I want an app that allows me to have a conversation with features that resemble a phone, so I can have conversations, send pictures and data, talk on the “phone” and or place video chats to build trust before exchanging phone numbers.

Eharmony is out dated and doesn’t provide this feature. It took close to a month before development of a decent conversation to get to the point of wanting to arrange a video chat, or send pictures, so when we wanted to do this I found out no such features exist.

The terms are of use are RIGID! It’s impossible to get a refund if you’ve paid in advance and are requesting so after the first 72 hours of purchase.
Considering, this is a personal safety issue (in my opinion) and should be a basic function in today’s tech world, and when compared to other alike platform, I requested a refund. But of course there was no entertainment of such, so I asked again and it was denied.

Customer satisfaction used to be a big selling feature, these days it’s similar to finding a needle in a haystack.

Also note many of the people I have been speaking have remarked that they too are very disappointed by the app and would have asked for refunds if it were possible.

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. I signed up to this dating site, and after only TWO days, asked to be removed and requested a refund. I was told that they cannot offer a refund. I also informed them that one of their users contacted me at my workplace, and this made me feel unsafe. I then reported them to Paypal, and also told them them as a consumer I have a right to change my mind within 14 days. Rather than offering a refund, they went on to tell me that I am liable for subscription fees? WHY? I want my profile deleted, it is apparent that I have not used the website. In the end, Paypal supported my position and refunded my monies. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I believe that they used to be good once upon a time, but now have fake profiles on their website - most of the profiles sounded fake and had glossy, unreal photos.

I decided only after 24 hours I’m just not emotionally ready and wanted to cancel until I’m in a better place for it … they offered me nothing not even to have he changed to 3 months instead of a year ~ I have to stay with them the full year ~ it’s not like I’ve been using the app for sometime and changed my mind ~ it’s been 24 hours ! Will not use this site or recommend to anyone ~
