Funds Withheld for Months – No Proper Explanation

I had a very disappointing experience with Eightcap.

My trading profits have been withheld for more than four months, even though I have fully completed all KYC requirements, including submitting my Proof of Address and all requested documents.

Initially, their support team said the issue was related to address verification, which was incorrect because my documents were already submitted and accepted. Later, they simply responded saying their decision was “final”, without providing any clear explanation or evidence.

Now my client portal access is also blocked, and it shows an “Unauthorized” error, which means I cannot even access my account properly.

I have contacted their support team many times during the past four months, but I have not received any proper or transparent response.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I hope the company resolves this issue and returns my funds as soon as possible.

Until then, I would strongly advise traders to be very careful when dealing with this broker.

Requirement request that cannot be proven

I would like to request the opportunity to operate with a professional account under my own responsibility, using only my own capital and without leverage.

I have several years of experience investing in the financial markets. While my track record includes both successes and mistakes, those experiences have helped me develop judgment, discipline, and a practical understanding of the risks involved in trading.

I fully understand the risks associated with the markets and I am willing to assume them personally. For this reason, I believe it would be reasonable to allow me to trade at my own risk.

If necessary, I would be willing to demonstrate my knowledge through an evaluation or test that confirms I have the experience required to use a professional account.

I would appreciate it if you could consider my request or let me know what additional requirements I would need to meet in order to access this type of account.

Warning: Account Failed After Passing

I’m highly disappointed with my experience. After hitting the profit target and seeing a "Passed" status on my dashboard, the firm flagged a trade as “News Trading” during the payout review and deducted the profits.

Key Issues:

False Flagging: There was no high-impact news scheduled during that trade according to the economic calendar. My strategy is strictly price action, not news-based.

Moving the Goalposts: After removing the profit, my balance dropped below the target, and my account was marked as "Failed" retrospectively.

Lack of Transparency: The specific news restrictions were never clearly defined, yet they were used to fail an already completed evaluation.

Deposited $1,500 crypto around 12 hours ago-tx confirmed instantly on-chain, but still $0 in my Eightcap account. Emailed tx hash, texted, called: complete silence, no reply at all. Every time I try
>$1,000 deposit/withdraw, everything freezes for hours/days with zero explanation. Funds held hostage. Worst broker support ever-stay far away from this disorganized mess. Never again!
