ELC Roofing 

Wouldn't touch this company (Edward Carlo) with a barge pole! Flat roof extension with a lantern needed replacing - had 4 quotes - 2 came in within £200 of each other!! This guy, saw me on my own & gave a whole spiel about it being, "Literally the WORST flat roof design I've EVER seen" !!! Claimed it wouldn't last 5 mins - it's actually been pretty effective for the last 20 years! Said it ALL needed replacing and re-designing and would cost in excess of £20k as a minimum! Funnily enough, the other 3 quotes were ALL under £10k. We also had the guys from Ironglaze come and look and they laughed when we told them his excessive quote! ... Bizarrely, the guy at ELC warned, "There are a LOT of cowboys in the roofing trade" ... No doubt I shall get abuse from him for posting this.

They turned up when they said they would. They took down the old chimney and tiled over the hole as requested. Cleared up after themselves. All in a day. I cant ask for better service than that. Great work.

Had the roof of our summer house done in zinc. What an absolutely fantastic job ELC Sudbury have done. Really looks great. Couldn’t be more pleased. Dimitri did an amazing job in designing the layout in situ after he had seen what he was facing. Despite a few language differences all three guys worked hard and were very amenable.

We have finished building a new house near Burnham Overy.

We wanted to make it look more modern than our main home in Edinburgh by getting a new 'pigmento red' zinc roof installed.

We found ELC roofing online and were very happy with the service that we were given by Edward and his staff.

They worked long hours and were able to install our new zinc roof within a timeframe and to a budget.
Now my friends and family want a red metal roof as well, and I will definitely be recommending ELC roofing to them!

Very painful experience
They use foreign labour most of which can’t speak a word of English
Uncover the roof and leave it exposed at the end of the day
Drop all of there rubbish on the floor including food wrappers

I needed to find a professional roofing company locally and most certainly these folks are good.
The team of two that effected my domestic roof repair and gutter seals etc were indeed excellent, clearly knowledgeable and meticulous in the work they carried out. worthy of mention also was the scaffold company employed by ELC, very neat and careful.
From the very outset our contact 'Saffron' always ensured we had great service and kept us up to date with each stage in proceedings.

I had a fairly complicated roof repair job needing done and ELC was brilliant in facing it head-on. They were 17% cheaper than another roofer. Pricing was fair and they updated me on the process which was encouraging. Thanks a million, best roofers around.

Very professional and a good job done.
We had a single roof on our property removed and replaced with a new roof by ELC in Ipswich. Friendly staff showed us exactly what was being done (wearing masks of course) through photos as we weren’t prepared to climb up the ladder!

ELC came round to fix a leak in our bedroom coming from the roof. It was urgent as the rain was coming through! They came when they said they would and did a good job of the repair. Good friendly company.

I have been hugely impressed with ELC.
They came and visited my property, gave me a quick (and competitive!) quote of the work within 1 day and were very accommodating when arranging to come and complete the roof.
All their staff were friendly and professional and made sure to be careful with social distancing etc.

Could not rate highly enough, seemed to really know their stuff, the roof repair took no time at all. Would recommend for sure!
