Item that I bought not heavy duty appliance at all.
Wrong explaining to item

Bought the universal window sealing kit, however, it’s not universal enough to fit all the way around my casement window.
There’s about a 6” gap where it won’t stretch to
Luckily, I can place it on the inside gap, which is small anyway, so hopefully won’t let too much hot outside air back in.

I purchased my first air con unit from AppliancesDirect in August 2020, despite never hearing of the company, and the unit is still going strong.

This year, since having a baby, we wanted another unit for his room to ensure he was kept cool in this hot weather.

Not only did they have stock, it was dispatched within 2 days and I had it within 3.

Great service, and you can speak to them on the phone.

The only downside, and me not receiving it earlier, was that DPD failed to wait for us to open the door!

Highly recommend and will use again.

The item we purchased came without the hose and regulator. We checked the reviews beforehand and in May 2026 someone had asked where they included and the response was yes. We had the item and queried the missing parts and have been told that they are only included on the black not the silver that we bought. The item was purchased via appliances direct and the whole experience has been unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend the product or the company. Product also takes ages to assemble as as we are missing parts it’s still only partially built.

The cooker that I purchased was sold as refurbished. However one foot was roken off. The panel at the back which holds the counter weight bricks was only held by one screw instead of4 and was severely out if shape and split where themussi g screws should have been. The electrical connection box was also not fized to the cooker back.

Air conditioner wasn't delivered on a Saturday, despite paying £14.99 for it. Arrived 3 days late (Monday), only refunded half the delivery fee.

Kit is rubbishi and no back up

Let down by the delivery. Booked a day and date at time of purchasing item. No show on the day. Courier let us down saying it wasn’t booked in. On contacting them booked in for three days later, hoping it turns up. This is unacceptable.

had a issue witth my tumble dryer and they replaced it within a day,the service and products are value for money.
