I emailed Friday and was calling Saturday also with no answer .
My order was placed on Friday not Monday. I have an email showing this. 8 was unable to reach any store, I did call the Carlow store multiple times with no answer so I'm not sure how they passed on a message

I bought a fridge freezer at a grand price..... however they gave the item to be brought by courier by caulfield Ltd transport all I can say is they are inapt to be dealing with a disgrace to be dealing with... my partner has cancer and was on his own after waiting over a week for a fridge freezer to arrive over caulfields office jumble no blame on ciara in the office in cork.. over paper work worth Dublin... and he'd had to physically help the delivery man he paid cause of his complaining and moaning to bring in the fridge cause he said it was to difficult and he was on his own and unable he also also had to help him remove the old fridge I'm absolutely raging at this poor paid for service his attitude the delivery man's was appalling an absolute disgrace my partner is fighting cancer and does not need this hassle because caulfield ltd fluffed an order and could not care less the fridge took over a week an essential item in our case and they only txt him on Wednesday night I work and people belong to him work my partner I mean... and they could not be there to help I'm so disappointed. I write this in vain that I'll get some notice by the companies involved. I won't be surprised if he is in hospital before today is out over incompetent attitudes by electro city happy to take the money and dump on inefficient delivery companies like caulfield tld transport.

Would definitely buy again from electro city and I could recommend The store in Waterford 10 times out of 10. And the member of staff I dealt with by email was brilliant also.

Ordered a Shark cordless vacuum cleaner which was in stock and was decently priced, expecting it to be dispatched within a few days. Unfortunately got an email a week later saying that stock was not expected until the end of the month, 3 weeks later. I was given the choice of waiting and getting some money back for the inconvenience, vs a similar replacement. I chose to wait. The end of the month came and went, with no updates, so I emailed again. Still no stock! At that stage I asked about alternatives and was pleasantly surprised that the option was if anything slightly better than what I'd chosen initially. They dispatched it essentially straight away and it was delivered soon after.
So, not ideal that it was all delayed by weeks and weeks and the website may show items that aren't in stock. However, I really have to say that the service around it was really good. They always answered emails quickly (Jayne and Mairéad were the ones in touch), were friendly and efficient, and did their best to sort it out for me. I think I was treated very fairly and they genuinely tried to come to a satisfactory outcome. I think problems can occur with any purchase/service, but the important thing is how it's dealt with. They impressed me and I would happily buy again.
We bought Dyson V8 absolute and paid €320 same price as everywhere else and battery doesn’t even last 10 minutes faulty item couldn’t return because don’t have packaging and box 👎
