Great design, but terrible functionality and support

I bought the Elica Hidden 2.0 primarily for its aesthetics, and that is where the positives end. The controls are completely unintuitive. If you turn on the first speed, you can't just switch it off—you have to cycle through the second, third, and fourth speeds before it finally shuts down.
Furthermore, the Wi-Fi feature is non-existent. My phone detects the device as "elica-test," and it simply doesn’t work. I’ve reached out to official support in both Russia and Italy dozens of times over the past year, but I’ve received zero help. I paid a premium for smart features that do not work. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase.

Thank you for your response, but I have already contacted your Customer Care through the official channels and shared all the required photos and information.

If you are genuinely willing to help, I would expect you to review my existing case and emails instead of repeatedly asking me to contact you again. I already followed your process and received a negative response after 5 days, with no attempt to identify the model from images or suggest any alternative solution.

Simply asking me to repeat the same steps does not resolve the issue.

I’ve shared this review to help other customers make informed decisions before purchasing. I am still open to a resolution, but it requires a proper review of my case rather than generic responses.

The light cover of the extractor fan is terrible

The light cover of the extractor fan is of terrible quality - they fell off 3 or 4 times in a year.

Our retailer is kind of to provide replacements the first 2 times. Now they're not willing to do it anymore and they said the manufacture believe this kind of fall-off is due to installation issue and they have no solution to buy 65+ euro per pair from them.

it is extremely noisy and does a terrible job of extracting air. we are constantly struggling with fire alarm. it was a terrible decison. the product is not as advertised at all. elica customer care is terrible and unhelpful. extremely bad product and a terrible company overall.

Hard to recommend Elica

Filters are overly expensive and of very poor design. Fitting them is unsafe due to poorly designed/made extractor fan. Impossible to recommend. Purchase and delivery was fine, otherwise there wouldn’t even have been one star.

Not easy to deal with.

I tried to use the contact form, as suggested by Elica.com in response to an earlier review, but there were too many characters in my comment. I give up.
I've lost the chance of the 5 year warranty and the hob is still registered at a property 400 miles away.
Elica don't make things easy.

Also, please don’t worry about the 5‑year warranty or the address currently registered.
Once you contact us again through the form, we will review your case and, if your hob meets the required conditions, we will make sure to extend the warranty to 5 years and update the information correctly.
