Control buttons are nightmare

Control buttons are a nightmare. Whoever invented it never used it. If you use 3 or 4 burners, it is not possible to control it with one minus button for control of 4 burners, an extractor, and time control. To keep it clean is a disaster. The buster limits the second burner to 7 or 8 not 9. And it is not power logic as Elica sugested but too weak fans so the it limits the power! The hob is simply too hot!!!When 4 hubs are working, the power is limited, and burners do not keep temperature. The worst think is if you put a burner on 5 it works like 1 or 2 and then switches to 5 . It takes ages to boils soemthing or you will overboils it. The power buster does not simply work. The power logic is not good. I had another company hob, and it always kept the desired temperature even if 4 burners were working and two were in booster mode. When a pot was removed from an old burner after a minute, it switched off automatically. It does not work with Elica. If you put an empty pot on the same spot, you will burn it .
When you had overboiled water in the old hob, it had automatically switched off all burners. Elica does not have it.

And the old hob was over 15 years old. I should have kept the old one, but I thought after 15 years the technology was better, and the extractor was a good add on but I was gravely mistaken. Never trust the reviews. Unbelievable. Even my first 20 years old hob was better, although similar to Elcia in many ways.
The worst induction hob I have ever had.

Failed to adequately address issue…

Contacted Elica to advise them that they sent out the wrong carbon filters with new extractor fan. They did not address the issue, they just redirected me to a local supplier to purchase the correct filters - their response states that they had no record of my order, would it not have made sense to note this in their reply to me and conduct further investigations / ask questions?

The product itself seems good

The product itself seems good, but the descriptions at the point of sale are misleading and unhelpful.

I purchased this extractor hood assuming that all components required for recirculation mode were included, or at the very least clearly listed as additional items to buy. Unfortunately, this was not the case. As a result:

The overall cost ended up being higher than expected.

I experienced delays in getting a fully functioning appliance.

I strongly recommend updating the product information — both on your own site and through resellers — so that customers are properly informed about what is and isn’t included when purchasing this appliance.

The cooktop arrived with crooked glass

The cooktop arrived with crooked glass. The manufacturer sent a service technician, but he said there’s no adjustment option for this model. It’s now the fourth week that I’ve been unable to cook, and it really feels like no one cares about resolving the issue quickly.

Excellent product

Excellent product, easy to use.
Delivered on time.
The only negative is that it was not clear that you have to buy the vent kit, which is an additional £300.

NEVER BUY FROM THEM PLEASE. RUN!

NEVER BUY FROM THEM PLEASE.

The hood broke 3 months after purchase, fully dysfunctional, and now the bad hardware above the hood is damaging my brand new cabinets. I asked them to come and check it out 5 months ago, and they kept ignoring me, and now my cabinets are gone:)

email 1: They asked for the serial number that I already provided, when I answered again they said its a different number, when I asked where I can find it, I got ignored for a month.

email 2: sent me 1.5 pages of irrelevant questions, and when I answered, I was ignored once again.

email 3: sent them the serial number and the answers, asked for the serial number again :/ When I answered, I was ignored

email 4: has been ignored for a month now

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE

edit: since then, I have called them, and they asked for the number again, and when I sent them more photos of the hood to look for a serial number, they have suggested that the number is inside the hood, and I should look for it in the unit.

A situation like the one you describe needs to be checked against the actual service file, which we cannot see from here. Repeated requests for the serial number and long pauses in communication usually indicate that the case could not be matched to a valid product reference — but without the data in front of us, we can’t confirm where the process stopped.

The only way to move this forward is to reopen the request through the official Customer Care channel on elica.com, including:

- the correct 12NC/PRF code
- proof of purchase
- the emails you already sent
With these elements, the team can finally retrieve your case and check what went wrong in the handling.
Your frustration is understandable, but without the product data a technical review isn’t possible.

Boy it's pricey…

The service & speed of delivery were fantastic! However, the cost of the parts are crazy it cost me over 100gbp for 2 filters and a plastic cover for a light. And the cooker hood is less than 2yrs old.

I had my hob installed on Friday…

I had my hob installed on Friday morning, Friday afternoon I went to cook and by simply boiling a pot the hob scratched all over!!!
