I feel that the service manager Ashwini - 9483346424 is not taking the issues seriously in Mangalore
My experience with the Elica 5-burner cooker and oven has been extremely disappointing. Not only did the product develop a serious safety issue — gas leaking from the burner setup — but the after-sales service in Mangalore has been shockingly poor.
I reported the issue three days ago, clearly explaining that this was a safety hazard and needed immediate attention. Despite this, the service center’s management kept giving assurances that a technician would be sent, yet no one has shown up. The responses have been inconsistent, and the follow-through has been nonexistent. It feels as though the service team simply doesn’t take customer problems seriously.
For a brand that claims to offer quality appliances and support, this level of negligence is unacceptable. When a company cannot address a gas leak, it puts customers at risk and shows a complete lack of responsibility.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to avoid buying their products. The poor service and lack of accountability can leave you stranded with unsafe equipment and no help from the company.

we weren't quite sure about the advice given on the phone by the Elica customer help lady.she inferred that we didn't need to register . ??
when we went onto the Elica website it let us register our Induction hob. so all is fine now.

NikolaTesla Switch Glow
I'm rating my experience with NikolaTesla Switch Glow. I really love it, however, there are two things that diminish my enthusiasm. I miss the plus and minus controls that I had in another induction cooker, apart from the power slider - it's handful when the time matters and precision is needed. Theoretically, this could be improved with a firmware upgrade because there ARE plus and minus icons in the fan control section.
As to the slider itself - at first I couldn't use it. It seems like it needs a longer press or a break between fine-tuning the setting, which is counter-intuitive. I'd like the sensitiveness to be higher in this regard.

Regarding Elica's reply below. The contact form on their Support page is terrible and works like it was made by a junior dev. I get 403 Forbidden when submitting the form, but also the message cannot be more than 255 characters. Are you nuts?!
Therefore, I'm changing the rating to 1.

Ridiculously expensive for a…
Ridiculously expensive for a replacement button that hasn't worked properly since buying it must cost less than a Euro to make - €146 for one small plastic button!! The delivery has been very slow with minimal updates and still no confirmation of delivery a week later. Would avoid for spares!!

technical defect
Some of the parts supplied have a technical defect: the brackets used to attach the kit to the hood include a captive nut that has been installed the wrong way around. As a result, assembly with the hood is impossible.

What do I do now?
The vent is purchased has been stuck together with badly administered tap???? And does not insert into additional piece as mentioned in booket. What do I do now????? Each piece was recommended to purchase to attach the hob to external extractor and they do not fit?
