I attended the 3 day in-person training…
I attended the 3 day in-person training with the ECA. Matt's knowledge, teaching style and natural charisma provide the perfect compliment of traits for learners to get the most of the time. The training is so well crafted, taking you on the full journey of prospecting through to closing, with a healthy dose of humour, group work, self reflection and (quite rightly) a big emphasis on mindset, beliefs and working on yourself. The team are highly skilled in their craft and very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Very personally beneficial
I booked this course after attending an Elite Empires business stratagies workshop. I found Matt to be very charasmatic and very knowledgeable in the business field. I found that a lot of the information was actually not ownly sound knowledge but had a metaphysical aspect and quite spiritual also especially when touching on contracts and human communication. I attended a Sales Accelerator day and decided to invest in some sales training with Matt Elwell and ECA. I'm so glad I did! I have just joined the ECA Gold Group after completing their three day event, and it has been one of the strongest decisions I have made for my sales career. I have worked with different training companies over the years, but this team stands out. Their approach is clear, practical, and focused on real results, not fluff.
I am in a role where consistency, discipline, and structure matter, and the Gold framework fits perfectly with how I work. I have already started applying what they teach, and the difference in my confidence, clarity, and communication with clients is noticeable. I attended the one-day accelerator…
I attended the one-day accelerator training which was presented by Matt and his team.
The training was very impactful and inclusive. The session covered practical strategies for improving communication with clients, handling objections, and closing deals more confidently. Matt was engaging and provided plenty of real-world examples that made the concepts easy to apply. I left feeling motivated and equipped with new tools I can use right away in my role.
Excellent day at ECA HQ!
I spent the day at ECA HQ today, on the Sales Accelerator 1-day training course. Matt & the team were all very welcoming and easy to talk to. They made all attendees feel at ease and comfortable, right from the off.
The course content was very well delivered. Matt is clearly incredibly passionate about helping people and businesses to close more sales, grow their customer base, and increase their revenue. This comes through loud & clear and Matt’s genuine nature and authenticity is refreshing. The course was delivered with an abundance of energy, in a really positive way, encouraging everyone to participate in the session, without forcing it.
All in all, an excellent day, spent with great people. It was nice to meet fellow business owners, all with the same goal of closing more sales, and the peer group activities were very useful.
I would definitely recommend a visit to ECA, and the Sales Accelerator course. It took away a lot of ‘golden nuggets’ of information that I can implement into my business immediately with my clients, to help increase my closure rate. I left the course feeling positive, refreshed, and motivated to improve my business and my conversations with clients.

Matt’s knowledge, the coaching team's support (particularly Ned, who was my coach) and the way the material was delivered were all excellent.
That said, I have to be honest: even though I learned a lot and truly applied myself, my own business didn’t take off the way I’d hoped, and I didn’t see a financial return on my investment. It’s been hard to see others thrive while I still struggle to find my footing — it’s easy to feel like I somehow failed where others succeeded.
Still, I want to acknowledge the quality of the course itself and the value it can bring. Sometimes, success depends on timing, circumstances, and personal readiness — and I believe this program offers great tools for those who are in the right place to use them.

I’ve been a member of ECA for nearly 2 years and I can’t recommend it enough. Matt and his team are so knowledgeable and genuine and teach an amazing structure and formula to selling and closing. It’s not about the ‘gift of the gab’ or persuading people. I used to think I was no good at sales, but with ECA, I now know I am and everyone can be! My closing rate has increased and I’m not wasting time on people who are not the right fit!

Love the training at ECA - there's so much value and all in a really great, fun, nurturing environment.
I actually think the overarching day…
I actually think the overarching day was good, but the issue with free events is they often come with strings attached. In this case, an hour-long pitch before lunch positioned the value of what they offer in a way that felt fabricated. £50,000 for Matt’s WhatsApp group annually simply is not true, and misspelling it as “watsapp” while trying to claim it is worth £50,000 is a red flag.
Being pestered during lunch to buy the course was also quite off-putting. My advice would be to do the sales pitch after lunch, once the room is more settled.
Having to constantly agree, raise your hands, and say “yes” like we were in school felt more patronising than engaging. Of course we all want to be successful. Of course we are there to learn. We do not need to be made to affirm it every few minutes. For context, I noted every single rhetorical “raise your hands.” This was asked of us 51 times between 10am and 4pm. I appreciate the intention of keeping the energy up, but I would suggest doing something different.
Matt also lost the room a few times by declaring “if you don’t want to be here you can leave,” which is fair, as I believe a few people were becoming uninterested.
On the positive side, when Matt actually went into more detail about closing, it was quite good. A lot of what they shared resonated and could genuinely be helpful for anyone’s business. They clearly have the knowledge and expertise to help people succeed.
In terms of value, £1800 for a three-day course is not a bad deal. If you are a services business and new to sales, this is absolutely for you. If you are experienced, it may not offer much more, as AI can teach you many of these additional tricks for free.
