Bad service

Paid for tracked parcel delivery.
Its been 2 weeks now and the tracking code still says it cannot be found on their site.
I have send them email directly and using their form, noone replied.
If you can avoid them do so and use another service cause as many stated they just don't care.
Especially if you are sending, receiving from outside Greece check with transport companies instead.

Elta dont know what having a user friendly site means

Elta should realise that in order to survive in such a competitive environment you need to
1) have trained personell with basic computer knowledge !! at least !!
2) Create new flexible web sites for labelling. Not the crap you advertise as new design for labelling in 2021 which is nothing but a basic design made from a high school student in pre-windows , dos logic. That accepts only latin characters !! You should look to what you are doing and be ashamed !! Its an insult for all of us being your customers.!!

They are the typical Greek public servants. They don't care how long it will take to deliver, or help you solve your problem. Difficult to understand the perpose of their existence! 😊

I ordered a package via Amazon

I ordered a package via Amazon. Unfortunately the seller decided to use ELTA for shipping the order. As it was really late I decided to track it and to my surprise found that i had been returned to the sender. When I called ELTA to ask why they bluntly told me that they couldn't find the address (I have received every other package I ordered), and that they were not a courier company and as such do NOT call the recipient to ask for details. How is that for efficiency? So they are saving cents by not calling the recipient but paying euros by returning the package to the sender? The logic here remains a mystery. Could anyone explain this please?

No tracking information, delay

No tracking information for more than a week for a package which arrived in Greece from the U.K.
I double checked this in 17track.net and itemsearch.elta.gr.
The item left the U.K. on Saturday 16 October and no tracking info since then (today is Sunday 25 October).
