Just dreadful
Just dreadful! I had no idea that this solution would require a 26gb download, the file did download but didn't work. It's just a really old feeling poor technology solution that is more of a pain that it is worth, it feels like using technology in the 1980's. I tried to get assistance from Rahul Jadon and he tried but not very hard, stay away, if this is the only option then buy a new car.
Emanuals Scammers!
Ordered what I thought was a pdf copy or whatever to fix a customer car only to get ripped off from emanuals. Never received anything usable or at all! Contacted them and all they wants to do is lie about it and try and hold my money. I would not advise anyone to try and do business with them or you may lose yours also. After they beat me I began to read their reviews and they are terrible people! Do please don’t fall for their scam!!!!! The date of the scam I wasn’t able to pull back up but it is with Pay Pal resolution right now.
as many others have said
as many others have said, expected a pdf manual, got a windows 7 OVA file. Installed Virtual Box to find that the software is not usable as a repair manual. have not requested a refund as I expect that will be a waste of time. hard to write of $42 as "never trust a google search." All in all am pissed and embarrassed. I know better. And I still need to fix my car.
Do not buy from this so called company.
I bought a manual for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.6L.
I received a manual for a 2014 Caravan diesel. Not even close to what I need.
Customer service said "don't worry, its the same generation model".
It's not even close since I'm working on the engine.
Then they offered a manual for a 2013 model 3.6L. In a OVA format. Which is to easy to hide Malware in.
I've requested a refund and have not heard back.
Received a manual that didn’t even…
Received a manual that didn’t even match my tractor did absolutely no good. Buyer beware! Don’t do it!!!!
Utter Garbage.
- 5 Stars would be my choice but not an option.Avoid this company at all costs they are nothing but scammers. All the good reviews are fake,I purchased a Mac version of a repair manual, but would not work until Was advised I needed to install VirtualBox app to use it.However doing this slowed down my computer
and the download is some out dated Windows program. The clowns at eManuals aren't bothered they take your money and say there policy is they DO NOT REFUND. I Have uninstalled everything and computer is fine,so do yourself a favour and do not believe the fake good reviews.Do not deal with these SCAMMERS
Use fake display to show case their products
Use fake display to show case their product and when you pay for the manual you get a pdf black and white copy of a poor quality manual with absolutly no index! The online display with superfast downloads is a joke and so is the customer service.
How are you supposed to find anything without an index and you have 8000 poor quality PDF pages to sort through!
Would give 0 stars if I could.
Purchased manual download $36.99 in July.
Some obscure format .OVA thus couldn't open.
Took almost 3 hrs to download.
Then advised I needed to download VirtualBox app to open it. VirtualBox said not compatible with my computer OS. I asked for a refund. They kept sending possible on-line work-arounds to try. A month later still nothing. I needed a download as promised, not online access. I kept asking for a refund, denied, denied, denied even though I showed proof I never got to open the manual file. So I am out $$37 with 0 to show for it, except the hours of trying their "fixes".
Apparently some kind of scam...
Try other options first.
Product not exactly as advertised.
Hard to navigate, download or view.
There has to be a better way.
I did get a manual close to my model with the torque numbers I needed for a reasonable price.
Garbage
Garbage, bought tried to down load, took forever, when I finally got some thing, wrong year, can't navigate the book,No money back,Got f
eManual SUCKS!
I bought a manual for a 2007 xc90 and what I got was a poor copied manual for 2003-2004. The only section that applied to a 2007 was a wiring diagram. Gee thanks. On top of that they refuse to refund me. They will keep emailing you until it’s been 14 days of your purchase then they don’t have to reimburse you. SCAMMERS!!
Waste of Money Completely unusable
No issues with the download BUT, the actual manual is practically useless. every word is indexed but there is no organization to the manual looks like they OCR'd a manual leaving off table of contents. Manual is not actual Manufacturer manual. but a generic like Haynes manual but not organized or collated. I download a Ram manual and searched for actual Mopar Part names. Like Auxiliary Switch and get 1000+ links to word switch... Literally couldn't find anything useful search how to remove front bumper or anything remotely accurate to the actual electrical system. I was able to find a paragraph about the Electrical Towing Brake Module but no useful info about how to connect, remove or add it. Just a blurb that is existed and then the next topic (not separated) about some other electrical component.
This download site is a complete SCAM
This download site is a complete SCAM! They do NOT provide you with an actual download, you have to ask them for a new link every time you want to look at your manual. It also does not allow you to print the pages so it's basically useless. Throw your $29.99 in the garbage rather than give it to these scammers.
Paid but scammed
Paid, downloaded the programs they state, it used up all the GB on my PC, wrecked the storage and still wouldn't work. total scam. Don't do it. I needed a PDF download, but it automatically downloaded something different. Took a professional PC expert to get things right again.
Designed to take your money and run! As I paid with Visa I was refunded by the bank.
Scam
Warning, scam!
They first sent a few pages of a manual to a completely different car.
When I pointed it out, they sent another car.
Then they sent a .ova file to another car that required + 37gb of free space and wanted to remotely control my computer. When I said no, they refused to pay back the money.
Sold me what was described as a…
Sold me what was described as a manufacturers official workshop manual specific to the 205gti and it was actually a consumer and useless (for the GTI) Haynes manual!!! Have referred to my credit card company, trading standards and PayPal but avoid - they are a scam company. And the phone number on their website goes to a wellness clinic in Toronto - its false!
This is a SCAM
This is a SCAM. The manuals do not contain the information that they claim in their advertisement. I bought the PDF manuals using PayPal. When I complained and asked for a refund through PayPal, Emanualsonline denied it the first time, then offered to refund half the amount. When I escalated the claim to PayPal, Emanualsonline agreed to a full refund. Then I got a message from PayPal asking for proof that I had shipped the goods back to the seller. How can a downloaded PDF be shipped?? Seems like sharp practice by Emanualsonline. I would advise not to deal with them - the manuals do not contain the information as advertised. Their customer service is a joke.
NOT AS DESCRIBED, refused refund
Bought a Service and repair manual. Contained no servicing specs or guide on servicing. Contacted their support who agreed that the product was not as sold as desribed, so offered me some files which needed additional software or another product from the website.. Argued with support over the email, took the case to Paypal who did my refund within a week. Do claim back from these timewasters
WARNING
WARNING – Emanual is a ‘rip-off’! I’ve asked a dozen times to rectify my situation to ‘no avail’. Their misleading ads that doesn’t match the receipt description (what you ask for) and the actual manual download they send you. You (the customer) orders a manual, Emanual puts you on hold a few days until your money goes into their account.
Then you get an email with a download file that doesn’t match the Emanual description your receipt says it’s supposed to be. Then you are advised that their ‘fine print’ only gives you a credit through their website. No cash back to your account, your lost your money!
A customer has to download the manual, open it and start using it to find the info you need. But with Emauals manuals the customer has to download a complex ‘Oracle Vitural Box’ software to read the .ova file extension in the Emanuals software.
One has to be a professional IT specialist to do this! At this point they offer to do a ‘remote access’ to your computer device and say ‘we can fix this for you’! As a 70’s Senior Citizen on a fixed income I cannot afford to have companies keep my $24.99 payment and take advantage of any customer for that matter.
How many people worldwide have this company taken $24.99 from knowing that the average person cannot ‘open the downloaded manual? DON’T buy from this company!
