While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Emblem health goes up around 70 dollars…

Emblem health goes up around 70 dollars every renewal period
Not a good company when your on a fixed income such as social security. Almost impossible to cancel plan. First they said I have to call NYS dep. Of labor. Which of course they never answered any calls or returned any
Now they want a letter to be sent to them meanwhile they continue to keep sending demands for payment going back to June when I originally called to cancel plan

Nothing but a Sales Pitch

I called the number listed at medicare.gov -- (800)524-2414 -- and was answered by a recorded sales pitch trying to get me to sign up for a "free" medical device. When I refused to push the requested key, my call was abruptly terminated -- I never did get to speak to a person at Emblem.

I’m an EmblemHealth member

I’m an EmblemHealth member
I’m suffering, struggling with this unprofessional health insurance
Staff/customer services and supervisors are irresponsible, untrained and really can’t handle any issue and unable to solve any issues
I wouldn’t recommend this health insurance to anyone
I’m waiting to change my employer in order I can get rid of this useless heath insurance

The worst Insurance company ever

The worst Insurance company ever. Avoid at all cost. They increase your subscription prices out of nowhere, most of the doctors don't accept it. And the worst is if you are trying to reach them, nobody answer their phones or emails, and if they do, it is the Philippines with 0 knowledge about your account. This has been nothing but a frustration.

EmblemHealth is great!

EmblemHealth has been so much better for me than my prior insurance. Emblem is accepted by most everyone in the Tri-State area. Emblem dental even pays for my kids braces.
