Responsibility not taken for poor quality items

A Marilyn handbag was bough on sale. After using the bag once I noticed a big dent in one of the sides of what should be a smooth bowl shaped bottom, a main feature of this bag. The company asked me to 'stuff it with things to regain its shape'. They cited the bag was 'heavily discounted' giving an impression they r consider a sale item doesn't need to be perfect. Never ever experiences before I was really quite shocked at the lack of ownership. I tried to their stuffing method. It hasn't made a difference. I wrote to the company twice since then giving them an opportunity to respond. The experience I have had shows me this company or at least the managing sales representative do not take responsibility for damaged quality items.

Buyers beware

Buyers beware. Impossible to return items. I bought some shoes from Emma Hyacinth recently and they were delivered 10 days ago. I've sent messages to the company to ask for a return as they shoes don't fit. They are in their original packaging and unworn. No-one has got back to me and the deadline for returns is in a couple of days - they allow 2 weeks from delivery. The cost was over £200 - not cheap. I feel very annoyed by this and will never trust them again. I will not be a returning customer. I hope this review stops others buying from them online and falling into the same trap.
An update on 22nd September - eventually I was contacted and DHL collected the shoes. I have just been notified of a refund - £5! For the shipping alone. I have photos of the condition of the shoes on return - immaculate in the same packaging, protective strips on the straps, tissue paper etc. What a disgrace! Do not buy from them.
