Too many mistakes - Dishonest!

In the beginning, I saw good reviews about this company and thought, oh they seem to be different. I find this company very annoying. They lie too much. I was supposed to have a credit Note, they never gave up till now. I have social tariff, they applied on Electric but never on gas. Their invoice has been wrong for one month, instead of them to correct, they took my credit Note and still. billed my account. I asked them to close the account as I am no longer there. The sent me a mail with Opzeggen Contract and billed from when the contract supposed to end.

I sent them an email and asked them to amend my records because i have paid every month that I used gas and electricity up to end of January. I left the place from 2nd Feb 2026 and told them to close the meters because i could not do that myself. So they have the order to terminate the contract.

then I received an email back that the contract can. not be closed because I did not sign some document with the person moving in. I do not know who is moving in but I closed the metres with the owner Mr, Royackers and signed the document. He said he will send to them. I do not know much about it.

Energie sent me a document with the title Opzeggen Contract.

Then they replied my email saying they cannot close the meter. This is how unprofessional this company is. Their invoicing service is terrible. They are dishonest. I regretted using their services and will never recommend.

I have told them to amend my records, I owe them nothing and I have been talking to my Lawyer as I will. not hesitate to take legal action s against them.

People work hard for their money, and so what they pay for should be accountable for.

Despite the reviews they can, I can not recommend them.

After thoroughly reviewing your case, we provided you with a detailed explanation of the invoicing, the application of the social tariff, and the legal requirements linked to closing a contract after relocation.

Regarding the social tariff, this has been applied to your invoices based on the official data received from the FPS Economy (FOD Economie). We also carefully reviewed all payments, credit notes and invoices, and confirmed that they were processed in accordance with the applicable regulations and standard accounting procedures.

Concerning the contract end date, Belgian energy legislation requires a formal Energy Transfer Document or official proof of departure with agreed meter readings to legally close a supply point. As these documents were not available, the contract remained active under the regulatory framework.

That said, although we did not receive the required attestation, we decided, as an exceptional measure, to retroactively stop your contract as of 2 February 2026 and credit the open February prepayment. This was done to bring clarity and closure to the situation for all parties involved.

One of the good provider in Belgium, overall good price but one less star as there is no good customer service, been waiting for response for days . How long you can talk to the bot who has few limited scripts to respond..

Green stream & budget & innovation

I'm satisfy with range service and helpful client service. Just one suggestion - please extend payment time as for people with law income it is difficult to manage payment in three week time. Definatelly if I need to give an advice to friend for energie supplier - it won't be nobody else but Energie.be. I'm glad I made that move out of Electrabel to the green stream Energie.be and I hope for bright future with you! I am sorry but can we normalize having…

I am sorry but can we normalize having a telephone number to reach an energy provider company?
They are trying to charge us for 6 months before for the time when an old tenant lived in the appartement while I live there for 2 weeks. The main problem is they have no contact number neither understanding of my situation in the email and they keep charging me. Onto another provider.

Please know that we are always willing to find a solution. If the previous tenant's consumption was incorrectly charged, this can always be rectified by signing an energy transfer document. You would normally have filled this in on the day you moved in.

Ik begrijp dat een hoge afrekening ontvangen niet fijn is. Maar weet dat je afrekening hoger dan verwacht is omdat jouw afrekening minder dan een jaar én voornamelijk wintermaanden betreft. Het seizoenseffect is hier de boosdoener.

Je maandelijkse voorschotten bedragen één twaalfde van de geschatte jaarkost. Maar natuurlijk verbruik je in de winter meer dan in de zomer. Tijdens de koudste maanden betaal je dus eigenlijk te weinig. Dat verschil compenseer je tijdens warmere periodes. Die compensatie is echter nog niet gebeurd wanneer je jaarafrekening geen twaalf maanden bestrijkt en de warmste maanden niet inbegrepen zijn. Je hebt dan eigenlijk te weinig voorschotten betaald, maar wel al veel verbruikt. Gelukkig doet dit effect zich maar éénmalig voor.

Hopelijk brengt dit ook meer duidelijkheid.

Always the cheapest when I compare the different providers. So no need to change every year to keep the best price.
Also they give you just what you need: energy (electricity, gas). They don't try to give you additional options that you don't want/need.
I definitely recommend them.
