As a Coop member I have been with Octopus for some years now. I have always found them to be honest and helpful. They always advise on better tariffs and ways to save money or maximise the tariff you are on. They provided a smart meter, which has been very worthwhile.

Clear information about moving to a new tariff and why that is in my interest to do so.

Excellent company

It was so easy to decide which tariff to choose.

The problem is that they give existing tariff in terms of KWH and daily rate. With the new tariff they just give an estimate of the total monthly bill. So it is impossible to genuinely work out whether to change or not. However, given there is no exit fee, I've changed for now but may go elsewhere once I see the actual figures on my account/next bill

That was easy! Changed to a fixed rate.

customer service was excellent, i would have liked a smart meter that gave out signals every half hour to an hour to stop me being bombarded by EMF with the 2 meters . i switched to what they told me was a lower tariff, but with all the gobbledegook info and figures they throw at you with the technical info it's impossible to work out what is really happening, do companies do this to deceive you? and don't forget that it is actually the national grid that supplies the actual electric and Gas and these companies are just middle men that put their meters in-between you and the grid and then charge you what they feel like for the digits, i heard that what costs us £100 is roughly £3 worth from the national grid, still politicians and Gvts have shares , portfolios and sit on Corporate boards and globalist NGOs, they are probably doing very nicely out of it, thank you very much and do they really care for our pockets or the environment ? i think you deep down already know the answer to that question. Octopus Energy and Co-Op energy make life much easier for a user. Prices are good, competitive and the service is great. Submitting meter readings and getting updates etc couldn't be easier. Also, the split of how energy is generated is highly renewable (85%).
Definitely recommended.
