Predator L

Predator L

Sleeve chest size everything is fits perfect except wearing and taking off is annoying. Also it’s short for me.
during ride air keeps going inside through my back :(
Also elbow protection is not in exact point. I think it should be behind my elbow right? But both protection placed above my elbow

Hey Tsogtoo! Glad your Predator jacket fits well across the chest and arms. As it is a pull over jacket, it is harder to get on and off, and we will be releasing more full zip models soon, so stay tuned! Also, regarding the elbow armour, they armour should sit across the elbow and further towards the front, as this is where most forces from a front impact collision to the elbows will be :) Any questions, please send an email to info@enginehawk.com and we can help where we can. Ride safe! :)

Excellent customer service & products

Excellent customer service, the 916 Inferno is one of the best jackets I have owned, the fit is excellent & quality of the jacket is top grade.
Extremely light and the armour is extremely flexible.
When wearing the jacket it does not feal heavy like a lot of motorbike jackets.
It held up brilliant in a heavy downpour keeping me warm & dry.
I highly recommend this company & its products.

Knucklehead

Knucklehead, medium

So far the jacket has been good to me. Has kept me warm on the cooler rides as well as it’s not very hot when it’s warm out. I was skeptical about fit as the medium was quite tight when I first tried it on but the more I’ve taken it for rides the better it’s getting. You can barely tell that the armor is in it and the casual style of the jacket makes it an awesome night out coat as well. Will absolutely recommend to other riders

Great jacket and super quality/design

Great jacket and super quality/design! Not to mention a fast delivery in EU. I've bought the Knucklehead model in size S since I'm 1,69m and 73kg. The only problem, for me anyhow, is that size S is on the tight side for my body. I can only wear it with a t-shirt under. I was thinking to buy size M but would have been too long on the arms. It would be amazing that in the future will be options for example like size M(slim, regular or plus size). Or like size M(short, medium, tall)

I have the predator jacket from Engine Hawk and just love it. I’m amazed at how well it’s made and it keeps me warm even without the thermal layer.(which is sold separately). If your on the fence go ahead and pull the trigger you won’t be disappointed!!

Another Raptor in Toronto

Raptor Review
I've had my Raptor for over a month and ridden in it from 12º to 31º weather in downtown Toronto. Zipped all the way, including cuffs & vents, it's decently warm though 12ºC is probably pushing the lower limit. Even with the CE2 armour in the elbows & shoulders, you can't tell it's armoured. I plan to wear this as much off the bike as when riding.

Only complaint: needs front vents for those hot days. Especially in stop/go traffic, I've resorted to undoing top zip half way + bottom zip by a third + unzipping cuffs + unzipping vents. Still toasty but more bearable. Would totally buy again.

Fit: unless you plan to wear something bulky underneath, order the size that fits the widest point of your trunk. I have the Raptor in L but also have the Hawkeye UV in XL for cooler weather. Wish I'd bought the Hawkeye in L.

Where do I start

Where do I start? First, you have this company with excellent customer service - they are ready, willing and able to answer any questions you might have before you order. Then, you buy and get delivery within days, and you get this incredibly well packaged jacket that is a pleasure to open and marvel at. Maybe it fits spot on - maybe it doesn't fit quite right. 1 email and your return process is completed, and you get a replacement jacket within a week!

Then, there is the jacket itself! I got the Knucklehead. Fit, finish, details are all TOP NOTCH. You put it on - you dont want to take it off! And te best part is, it doesnt look like youre wearing a motorcycle jacket, so you can wear it pretty much anywhere! Armor is amazing and you cannot see it - it is not bulky and you dont have that "power ranger" look. The double zipper allows you to unzip the bottom when you sit on your bike, so the top doesnt bunch up and give you fake boobs. It blocks wind well, without the thermal bomber I am comfortable down to 55* and up to 85* (while moving!) It feels good, it looks good, and it gets comments.

Buy this jacket - you will NOT be disappointed!

The perfect jacket!!

I bought my enginehawk jacket about 2 weeks ago and can happily say I’ve never been more pleased with my purchase. I received my predator jacket in fantastic, high quality packaging. When taking the jacket out on the road I was sceptical due to it being a ‘windbreaker’ style however couldn’t have been more impressed with the versatility and quality. Perfectly warm during the rain and fantastic with the pocket and side vents open during the sun. A perfect comfortable unique riding jacket with incredible flexible armour. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a different style on the road!!!

worth the 2 purchases

This is my second jacket from Enginehawk. I first bought the predator and still wear it and love it. The only thing that is super inconvenient to me is putting it over my head to take off or put on. During the hot summer days, it’s a pain, and when the half zipper is all the way down, the air catches in anything over 50mph(80kph). So I most recently opted to also get the raptor. Both jackets have the same material (which feels really high quality), both have the hood and the armor in the same place. Not a single complaint there. Both the sizing are the same, but there’s definitely more room in the predator, though, because of the bottom side zippers. Other than that, you really can’t compare the two. This raptor, though, is phenomenal in its own way. Super easy to put on and take off, I love the pockets, and I feel like I ton of movement with it on. I had to get used to the zipper being on the left side, but it’s not a problem in the slightest. As better looking as the predator is, I think I like the raptor more, as I find myself wanting to wear the raptor more just in general, even when I’m not riding (oh, and I look good with it on). Overall. I am insanely happy with the raptor, as well as the predator.

Perfect jacket for urban rides!

I bought the Predator jacket to drive around town and tested it thoroughly. To put it briefly: the jacket is optically perfect and super comfortable. You can tell that extreme attention was paid to details, e.g. in the arrangement of the zippers to slip into the jacket and optimal ventilation when it gets hot.
For longer tours there are certainly better jackets that keep the rain out even better and are even more aerodynamic. Since the jacket is not designed for such purposes, there is nothing to complain about.

I'm looking forward to more products like this!! :)

predator and ironhead

Got the predator and the ironhead. Both are fantastic jackets that fit perfectly.

The predator took a little getting used to with the pullover design but it’s kept me warm during cold spells.

The ironhead looks mean as and it’s a super comfy jacket to wear while riding and walking about.

Would highly recommend getting either of these jackets.

There is no comparison to #Enginehawk…

There is no comparison to #Enginehawk jackets.. my Airborne is very comfortable..the fit is perfect..great quality in the material.. not too heavy.. very pliable compared to other textile jackets.. ive had Joe Rocket jackets and they're stiff ..short in length.. the Airborne long enough to protect the lower back..the waistline.. sleeve length is perfect..doesn't bunch up in the shoulder area when reaching for the bars.. I ride a Harley so the seating position is different than sport bikes.. the form and function of my Airborne is top notch..

From the start

From the start, I bought on launch day! I got my jacket not even 3 days from them.. to west side of the States. I've taken it out for a few drives and honestly it's phenomenal! I got my hands on a the knucklehead and it's just a mean looking jacket upgraded to level 2 and I'm still able to move around when I'm off my bike. There isn't too much ventilation unless you unzip the jacket but so far would def recommend!

50. Cal Jacket, Size M, 187cm

The jacket looks really nice and fits pretty well too. The quality however is not as super-duper, insane top notch as advertised for the price. It's definitely not bad, just not on 100% as advertised. My main issues with the jacket are:
- Armor plates not staying in place
- Throat rubs on jacket when fully closed (especially my adam's apple truly gets rubbed and pressed against the part where both buttons are, above the zipper)

916 Review

The EH 916 for me fit very tapered, the level 2 armour I upgraded to still can’t be felt with the jacket giving me further comfort on my ride. I once hit a curb doing a turn and went off the bike, tumbling around with the jacket. I was still fine and I didn’t feel much either. The jacket wasn’t damaged and my armour did it’s job. I’ve worn it in hot summer days, and I would say 22-24 Celsius is the limit for me, before it starts to get hot. I mean it is black leather. I love the jacket, it’s light, doesn’t look motorcycle based, looks very casual. I hope my review helped someone out there.

COOKIES 'N' CRÈME

I ordered the COOKIES 'N' CRÈME leather jacket on the first day available. The quality and attention to detail was beyond all expectations. I love the casual retro styling with the stripes, the soft leather and the black and white only theme. I think having 'ENGINE HAWK' written across the front is slick. I combined it with the Thermo Bomber and it is perfect for the cooler days. Overall, a superb leather jacket.

I got the 50cal in XL it fits really well and really comfortable. The only thing that I would change are the button up at the top as they put pressure on my throat a little. Other than that the jacket is perfect. Been riding with it as it’s winter in Australia as it keeps me really warm! Amazing feel and quality.

Knucklehead

Ordered a Knucklehead XL and absolutely love it. Great style and gets compliments every time I wear it. To bad it’s to hot to wear more. Jacket is a little tight in shoulders but is already loosening up nicely. Easy ordering process and was updated regularly via email. Looking forward to ordering more soon.
